We absolutely loved our stay. Hubby and I went this past weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The registration office is a bit tricky to locate but was able to find. The lady that checked us in was extremely nice and helpful! Got to the room and it was super clean and nice. We were only there for a few days but we will definitely be back! Highly recommend! Also go to Cinnamon restaurant on premise and try the calbi ribs and the Guava pancakes. So good!

We stayed in this hotel twice and loved our experience here. It’s located in a quiet area, close to the lagoon and the beach, very good spot for every age. We loved swimming at their beach & saw lots of turtles here (for me personally it’s the best snorkeling spot). The service was on point, all the workers were always very kind and helpful. We will definitely be back here!

Loved our stay at this iconic hotel. The room was perfect with a full kitchen and comfortable bed. It is in a great location with good restaurants on-site and restaurants and shops nearby. Make sure to check out the laua performed in the courtyard on Friday night I have clients excited for their future stay here.

We got the small studio with kitchenette and while the furniture and things are a little older, it was great for the price. The kitchen came in handy if you're trying to budget, it's within good walking distance to a few things in Waikiki as well. The check in office is a bit hard to find, the resort shares a building with the Illekai Hotel, so you'll want to look for the Waikiki Marina office. It is to the right and down a small hall from where the hotel market is, next to a surf rental shop. It's a big bright office, and easy to find once you know where it is. The staff was super friendly, thank you for everything!! There is no parking! If you're lucky, there will be an open spot near the back which is $1/hour (24hrs max), otherwise there is a parking structure across the way which is $28/day, i believe it's in and out parking as well. Being an island parking is hard to come by, and there isnt much room to expand without ruining much of the natural and already limited space of the island. So take what you can get and don't be rude about parking.

I feel this resort was so good to us. My husband and I just checked out of this resort during the pandemic as we celebrated our anniversary and they were lovely. The remove was huge. The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed to cook. It was walking distance to the beach. It’s near really great restaurants and I just honestly love it there. I’m also grateful that we had free parking for our rental at the resort right next door. Everything about this place was perfect!

Rooms are great here! Everything you’ll need! Valet parking is good not great, but good!(some employees are not very warm welcoming, but they do their job, plus they charge 28 dollars a day). You all should just include the parking fee along when purchasing the room. The lady working the service desk counter was nice, plus she gave me a great smile and great energy regardless if it was sincere or not! It meant a lot to me. Thanks!!!! 😃 Will be back when I return to Honolulu again!!!!

The six of us had the absolute best time! Between the perfect location, wonderfully comfortable and historic rooms, 2 wonderful pools, and the live entertainment on Friday our stay was lovely. The real cherry on top was the concierge, Carolina. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She took extra care of us, giving good recommendations and pointing us in the right direction. She was flexible with our check out and held our luggage so we didn't have to lug our bags around until our flight out. She called us family and I believe for that week we were. Thanks Carolina, I hope to see you again soon.

It is an older building but well maintained and clean. The building itself is run by different companies and I stayed at my timeshare with Shellvacations club. It is a one bedroom studio with a basic kitchenette. I'd say it's a fairly spacious room for a couple. The bed is comfortable and location is decent. Walkable to Ala Moana Mall and main drag of Waikiki. Since it is a timeshare unit, room clean up service is only once a week but during the time we stayed while in a pandemic, they didn't come at all for the 6 nights of our stay. It was not an issue for me since we were only in the room to sleep and was out most of the time. The towels, toilet tissues, paper towel, etc were well stocked for that reason. Parking is valet only and current rate is $28/day. You have in and out privileges all day. Supposedly there is a cheaper parking service near the Red Lobster across the way but we didn't bother to check it out. Disappointingly, the restaurant in the hotel called "Cinnamon's" was closed due to the pandemic. They are voted one of the best breakfast in town but not to worry, there are so many great breakfast restaurants nearby.

Great hotel right on the beach. Nice to have a full kitchen and a couch. There’s a nice convenience store (cheaper than ABC) open til at least 10:00 pm and Ice Cream shop and a few other shops on the first floor. Staff was friendly and nice. would prefer a 2:00 or 3:00 check in instead of 4:00. Lots of free activities close by. McDonalds, ABC and Red Lobster across the street among others.

The perfect home away from home, brought groceries on the plane with us and purchased the fresh stuff there. Saved a ton of money. Hilton Hawaiian Village is right there to use the lagoon if the ocean was too rough! Don’t hesitate to book!

I dislike that I had to pay for parking and that room service was limited, but everything else was fine. The staff was very pleasant.

Nice unit, full kitchen but small, large balcony with great views. Comfortable bed, wish the bathroom had more storage. We are on the 3rd floor.

We stayed here 2 weeks ago. Hendrik made it possible for us to have a wonderful stay at this resort. We had an early check in and late check out and an awesome view from our room to the city. The building is a little bit old and due to Covid some restaurants were closed but it has the. est ice cream shop inside Dave's. Also pool was open with limited capacity which I thought it was great during this time. Excellent and place to stay with family and the kitchen inside the room was a big plus specially for the very expensive food at the restaurants We will definitely come back to this place. Thank you!!

Really good resort. Great location. There’s a food truck plaza to the West about 250 meters. Really delicious food there. Moama Beach was great for going for walks in the evening. A/c could’ve been a bit cooler.

We booked here through RCI using points. After other timeshare disappointments I was hesitant, but we really enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The view was nice but I’m sure that depends on your floor/side of the hotel. We were on the 5th floor, would stay a bit higher up if I went again. In room WiFi is decent but can be a little hard to find as each room has its own modem. The rooms were relatively clean, though they could use some updating. The pull out couch was actually sleep-able. Kitchen was nice but could have been a little better stocked, especially since it’s harder to bring household items when you are flying in. The parking is way overpriced but I’m sure it’s not different at other hotels in the area. Not having an option to self park yourself at the actual hotel is really inconvenient. There are several food truck courts to the west of the hotel, and a nice outdoor shopping center to the east.

Everything about our stay here was exceptional. We didn’t really hang out at the resort much, but you definitely could. It was a great central location for day trips. The resort staff and everyone we interacted with in Honolulu were so kind. We plan to return now that we have done all the tourist stuff and just relax and explore around the resort. If you stay here definitely check out the poke place on site. The nachos and the masubi are bomber.

Great location. Can go to Alamoana shopping center by walk and the main street of Waikiki in 15 mins, just great for a walk, Rooms are comparably bigger considering the other hotels in the, bed was comfortable, big fridge and the sofa as well. The coffee place is so much better than the other places, Brunch place Cinnamons is very nice with reasonable price. They have a bit small TV but who would want to watch TV in Hawaii?

Pros: great location and beautiful view. Right next the famous Hilton and the charming little shopping mall. Cons: there is often a line out of the elevators - and I'm not sure why. Parking is expensive and valet is about the only option. There is free parking spaces around the property but they are tricky to impossible to find. Laundry requires a lot of quarters and you depend on the mercy of other residents or the cleaning staff not to leave their stuff in the washer/dryer for hours.

Loved the feel and look of the hotel. It was still decorated for the holidays so that added to the ambiance. We stayed 4 nights the first week of Jan. Booked 2 city view rooms for our family because that was the only option. When we arrived in Honolulu I called and the office said we could check in a few hours early, which was great, and then during check in the man helping us gave us a free upgrade to 2 rooms with a view of the marina and partial ocean view. So nice and we really appreciated it! We thought the rooms were spacious and nice. The beds were comfy, even the sofa bed was more comfy than other sofa beds I’ve tried. Liked the large, walk-in shower, the kitchen had everything we needed for simple meal prep. We mainly ate out but the full size refrigerator was nice for leftovers, drinks, fruit etc. The negatives I can think of are the AC in our room was pretty loud, even on low. The AC in our adult kids’ room was much quieter. Also they give the tiniest bottles of shampoo etc so we bought our own at Target. We didn’t use the laundry room down the hall but apparently the machines take debit/credit cards. They have beach towels which you pick up and drop off in the office downstairs which was nice. We paid for the valet parking even though it’s pricey. You can take the car out as often as needed each day. Ate breakfast at Cinnamons downstairs and loved the setting as well as the food. My kids liked the Aroma cafe and of course we had ice cream at Dave’s. We liked that the hotel is on the end of Waikiki rather than being in the thick of it. Goofy’s Cafe, very close to the hotel, is supposed to be great, especially for breakfast but we never made it there. If you want to go to quieter, beautiful swimming beaches only 35 minutes away, try the beaches in Kailua on the windward side. But back to the resort, I would definitely stay there again if in Waikiki.

This place is perfectly located with all the amenities that you would want (full kitchen) and great views. There was typically a line to the elevator but I never waited more than a few minutes. It was affordable and I had a much better experience for my 50th compared to someone who stayed at the Hilton next door where everything was overcrowded. I will definitely come back with my family!

This is what I live for right here. The service and how they treat us is better than our own family treats us. Lol. We have so much fun here all under the care of these special people, our Ohana there in the island - Ryne, Kent, Keola, Shawn, Kirston, Tara and last but certainly not least is Micheal M. All right there taking care of us in the background. Well…without these beautiful people we would not have the experience we have. So warm and friendly. They’ll look out for you too I’m sure. Good job guys and we will see you again I’m sure!! Aloha 2021

Our stay was amazing thanks to the staff at this hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect for tourists. You are able to walk to restaurants, stores, shops, and the beach. It’s in a great spot! We really enjoyed the kitchenette we had in our room, it had all the items we needed to cook. Staff was very helpful and made us feel welcomed to hawaii.

I loved my stay here at Marina Resort at the Ilikai. The hotel lobby always had a sweet, tropical smell with a wonderful breeze. Our condo was great; the mini kitchen came in very handy. The only thing I wished they had was central AC and not the one on the wall. It was super loud.
