The village is getting a little long in the tooth. Rooms need updating and the elevators some lighting, needed a flash light to see they are so dark. Great food and drinks, view is tremendous, staff is great especially Ms. Liz at the front desk.

My wife and I stayed at the Rainbow Tower a few years ago. It was great and we loved our stay here. We loved being right on the beach. The views are amazing too. The lagoon is cool to relax at. There are restaurants and bars located on the beach. The staff were very nice and friendly.

So far this is an absolutely amazing hotel. Directly next to the lagoon and everything looks absolutely gorgeous. There are throngs and throngs of people here which made check in pretty slow and clunky. It’s also a $50 resort fee per night plus parking fees and the parking garage is cumbersome and difficult to get to but not too bad. They have a shopping village and food around every corner. They have kayak and paddle boat and paddleboard rentals by the lagoon which is pretty cool

Right on the beach and the ocean views are wonderful. You get a video rental which is kind of fun. Surf boards paddle boards and a nice jettie for swimming. The surf is good for beginning surfers. The shopping village is right across the street. Touristy, but fun. Lappet's ice cream is a must!

Views are nice but the rooms are very dated and the beds are small. Far from a luxury hotel, more like a holiday inn in a resort location. If a view is your priority then this might work fine but if you are looking for comfort and cleanliness this isn’t it. Staff was good so no complaints there. Check-in process is a disaster (90 minutes line to check in makes zero sense).

Rainbow tower is so good like they gave us another room on the eighth floor with a view of Diamond Head instead of the fourth floor. service is so good here the French toast from Bali oceanfront was so good. I even got to feed birds on our balcony. The elevators are slow, but really durable when we were going down the fire escape stairs the alarm did not beep. trust me you’ll love rainbow tower and there’s four other towers. One of them has a gym. The tower that the gym is in is called Kalia Tower. even one of the rooms has a double bed. That’s why it is a five-star hotel

The hotel you see in almost every TV show based in Hawaii. The Hilton resort in Honolulu is unlike any resort. Great beach with a Lagoon if you don't want the ocean waves. Tons of shops and restaurants in the resort.

Check in was a nightmare. Took 1.5 hrs. Avoid lobby unless you have hours to spend waiting. Food was good. Prices very high. Rooms clean. Took me a while to figure out that the phone digital room key will not work unless you turn on bluetooth. They don't tell you that. Not what I expect for an upscale resort.

This iconic hotel was fantastic! The views on the ocean side are just breathtaking. The rooms are slightly dated but very very well appointed. Our room was spacious and top class.

The hotel has an amazing location and access to a huge array of amenities. The views are also sobreactuar. However, the rooms are dated, and the HVAC is very limited.

Stayed in the rainbow tower on the 16th floor ocean view. View is absolutely stunning. There are two sliding doors that you can open and allow the breeze to come in. So nice. One balcony faced the city. The other the ocean. You can see the star light luau from the city side as well. Sat on the ocean balcony every morning to enjoy the view. Paradise. Several pools on site and you can go to all. The pool chairs are taken up early so if you go down later chances are you won’t get all the chairs you need for your family (lucky to get one). Fireworks on Friday was AMAZING. Started st around 8. Was a little crowded but was worth it. They put on a great display. Resort has several places to eat as well on site within walking distance. Wiki wiki cafe had the BEST shave ice (get the milk with it so yummy). Has several different places to shop (ice cream, coffee, clothing stores and souvenirs) on site. The only “negative” that I can say was this resort was almost like a tourist attraction. By that I mean it is always crowded (pool, elevator, sidewalks, dining). Have to wait for elevator and lines. Elevator was worst during “peak hours”. Lagoon was nice. Calm, clear and had small fish in it). Kids loved it. Water was cool in lagoon but you get use to it. Can rent several things (water boards, aqua cycles, kayak) there too. No waves. Food truck at the end. Nice and quiet. Ocean is beautiful. Reef helps break up most waves. You can see the bottom all the way out. Minor waves. Saw sea turtles every day. If you get here early you have almost the entire thing to yourself. Still have plenty of room when people get there. All in all the best resort we’ve stayed at in Oahu.

The view was truly incredible. Our room on the 11th floor showed some signs of age. The woodwork around the elevator "lobby" showed signs of aging. Did I mention the view?

My husband and I are currently staying at the Hilton Hawaiian and we are in the Rainbow Tower in an Ocean Front Corner room and it is nothing short of spectacular! It does have 2 balconies, one facing the ocean and the other out onto the lagoon and marina so it is the best room! This side is cheaper than the Diamond Head facing side but we get amazing sunsets and we’re right in front of where the Friday night fireworks are so I wouldn’t pay extra just to see Diamond Head. Checkin was a breeze for us and Nancy was amazing! I would recommend joining as a member - it’s free and you can jump in the members queue for checkin. The rainbow tower is the furthest from the street but the closest to the water so it really is worth it. We’ve really enjoyed our stay and would recommend 👍🏻

Breathtaking view hotel. Every day cleaning without asking. Board paddling, kayaking, ice cream shop are everything there. Kids had so much fun staying there watching sunset and especially city lights view at night. Restaurants are located walking distance as well, no need to take uber. Highly recommend this hotel

This hilton is nice. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet despite being in the middle of things. The lagoon is perfect for with little kids. The staff is very kind and attentive. There's lots of shopping close and you're directly on the water.

Rooms are worn but a decent size. For us it was all about location. Fantastic views and easy access to the pools and beach.

I was actually saying that the Lagoon Towers in Oahu Hilton but their gym was located at the rainbow Tower which I would walk to most mornings to do some exercising. As what was the case with all of the Hilton property it was very well maintained clean and organized.

Hilton Hawaiian Village is no longer a 5 star hotel. To much trash is all over the place and the people who work at the front desk just don't care. All they care is taking everyone's money. Asked to speak with management, no manager was on site. My recommendation, stay at the Hyatt. Much cleaner and more helpfull and friendly!

We stayed for our 45th wedding anniversary 💕 our room was ok 2127 the music from the Tapia was to loud. I liked our room in 2018 better it was more comfortable and at the other end of the building 2021 we tried to upgrade but no room was available. So we made the best of it.

Room was a little dated but clean. Housecleaning was fantastic and very friendly. Air conditioning stopped working but was service within 30 min, same for the little safe ( wouldn't close) but mechanic arrived and fixed it right away

Can absoluetly not recommend for the price. Horrible claustrophobic elevators with no light! Super long lines. Densly packed if one ever shows up. Opposite of social distancing. Pools not heated, worn down and only a few loungers available. Sledgehammer work during daytime. The sand of the lagoon is as hard as rock, painful to sit on. Worn down interior throughout. Beautiful location but place needs a complete remodel to the core.

If you enjoy spending a lot of money and being bothered by Tweakers..... this is the place. When you have such a bad experience you tend to start noticing everything like the rooms are outdated, the TV remote dosen't work, there is a gross glue stain on the patio door looking out, whats the point of paying for the view just see that. And soooo many rules, you can't drink on the beach or eat your own food by the pool and you have to beg for towels and hope the towel stand is open. I'm just disappointed after spending so much money.

Waiting an hour for a taxi and an hour in line to check in, in the room old furniture and no cutlery, no microwave , no kettle, no tea, no Coffee .. when you talk to people not much English, rude and not helpful . Hotel is like a public swimming pool no proper lobby, No value for money and everything overpriced. Very much Like a very expensive Thailand Not impressed except internet is better in Thailand at least it does not disconnect every time you move

Such a great place to stay with my two boys 11 and 13. The view from our room was breathtaking. So much to do and see just within the Hilton Hawaiian Village itself. Love it!!

They do need to just put buttons in the elevator. That fancy new system just sucks honestly. Otherwise best ocean and Diamond Head view available from a hotel tower on the island.

The check-in time wasn't the best. The views is winning. I love passing out to the sound of the waves. For the price I only stayed 1 night. The room quality - price ratio isn't on point. I had reservations for a bigger room elsewhere. The experience was great. I actually wanted to stay another night because of the nice breeze and the view. Be nice if they can turn 2 corner suites into a 1 bedroom with a big tub. A whole 280° view plus some.

We had a beautiful room with a great view. In Hawaii we were in the at night the beds were very comfortable. Shops and restaurants are in walking distance. We loved it.

Great room. No complaints other than fridge kept freezing everything even on low setting and the hot water was at times hard to regulate. But wasn't anything major.

Great location on ocean. Gorgeous views. Lots of walking. Shops and restaurants are plentiful. Property is on 22 acres.

The only complaint I have: was checking in. long n slow lines. I liked the hotel n service. Our room was kept clean. The hotel restaurants were highly expensive but there’s a food truck across the lagoon, the best shrimp n fish. The hotel location is perfect: beachfront, lagoon , n many shops ABC stores to get food too. Parking space is expensive $59 per day. We didn’t use their parking garage, we found a cheaper one 1 block away. I will reserve it again because of location.

Elevator system is a trip but understood now. With the popularity of this hotel, it separates the cars for particular floors. You tell it what floor your on and the system tells you what car to catch.

I'm rating this review at 2 because they issued someone a room at 3 o'clock in the morning and they were banging on walls and there kid was super loud and they kept it up all the way until 630 am. This is more like a family resort. If you are a couple I suggest you don't come to this tower. Maybe another tower but not this one.

I stayed on the 25th floor with an ocean view room and it was amazing. Just like an unbelievable postcard.

The hotel was pretty and it had a nice view of the ocean. The lagoon was also a nice touch to this resort. It is unique as I haven't seen much like it.

Amazing views! Eye level with fireworks on Friday nights. Wonderful housekeeping staff! Words don't describe the amazing views you'll get. Honolulu city skyline next to the sun setting over the ocean!!!

Very nice place, only problem is everything closes early. They charge for most everything, including umbrellas n chairs for the beach. Consider a different hotel/resort but again this place is very nice.
