We stayed at Room #56 two bedroom suiteand stayed for over 10 days, they made us aware of the cleaning fee before we booked I hope they just called it ‘pandemic fee’ so it wont be confusing,Im giving them 5 stars for the great service. Especially Rebecca and her team did an awesome service! Great service on the room needs, beach towels, garbage and parking. A special shout out to Jacques He is in charge of the night services his services is also awesome from parking to other services. Internet was available from the beach infront of Outrigger Hotel, Outrigger pool was great. Again 5 star on the service , to be clear the suites were spacious and we had a great experience. The patio was big and we hang out there a lot. Thanks Rebecca for making our stay in Hawaii awesome!

Rebecca and her team are caring and truly customer service focussed. Our family of four (2 small kids) moved from the mainland and stayed almost one month. We loved sitting out on the Lanai each morning. The entire team made us feel like family and we are very grateful for the warm welcome. Highly recommend Regency by Outrigger!

WOW - we have stayed here before and know what upgraded Apartment to ask for (81 with a view of the water - glimpse) and also know its a serviced apartment so daily cleans dont happen - but the difference since Rebecca joined is just amazing. Forget anything you read or see more than 6 months ago. The cleaning is top notch, the services and amenities have all gone way better and now access to the Outrigger pool is back as well. Couple that with access to a gym again and discounts at Foodlands and local places we have gone from rating a solid 4 to a 5. The kitchens have always been a bonus and we also know more owners have upgraded their apartments (55 and 75) as well so more choice of upgraded apartments too. The friendly faces and prompt help just finishes of the Aloha. As to the cleaning fee - we have been told its being reviewed too but where else can you get an apartment with a kitchen, views over Fort De Rusy, one or two separate bedrooms that can sleep 4 to 6 people and one or two lanais you can actually have everyone on in Waikiki and still not spend 1,000's - REGENCY ON BEACHWALK. NOTE: we have been coming here for years but not since 2019 due to COVID and the view when the Hilton sends up its fireworks - always special.

Great location, enormous balcony. However, room was dirty as hellll. They charge a 300 dollar cleaning fee when it’s barely clean. Room is also outdated avoid if you can

They charge you a $300 “cleaning fee,” but I swear they don’t clean the condos. There was black hair on the floor of the bathroom when we arrived, (all of us are blonde anyway, so DEFINITELY not ours) as well as hair and face shavings on the sink. The cupboards were coated in crumbs and old popcorn (EW) and sticky gunk, and the shelves in the door of the fridge were also covered in crumbs and sticky residue. The carpets weren’t vacuumed, and the pull-out bed is so old that its bar supports push through the mattress, making it bowed and uncomfortable. I cannot believe the price I paid to sleep here. Staff is friendly, but cleaning is VILE.

First and foremost ridiculous “cleaning fees” charged right out the gate. I have a big family so needed two rooms. They charged me an additional $400+ dollars per room as soon as I checked in. Cherry on top, also an additional $39 per day to park our rental vehicle. So ironically after the onslaught of charges the rooms WERE NOT CLEAN!!!! Ok guys I know most of us use a hotel primarily to sleep and rest after a long day of activities. But for the very least I would’ve liked to check in to a clean room and in pristine condition. The bathroom mirrors were not even wiped (still had writing from past guest who write when it’s steamy), there was beard hair trimmings on back board, tables felt sticky, outside chairs and table was dirty, and etc. Immediately felt as if I was in a cheap motel on the side of the road not one on a beautiful island in Hawaii. Many of their furniture is so outdated and seems like it was chewed up. The couch in the living room looked like it belonged on the set of ‘That 70’s Show’. The only reason I didn’t rate one star because the staff is super friendly and immediately willing to help and give advice about surrounding activities. Also another plus was the ABC store that’s right outside the hotel and the quick access to Kakākaua Ave (Main Street). Other than the bad hotel experience, Hawaii was amazing and had the blast with my family with unforgettable moments. Will be returning soon we didn’t want to leave!

Has all the necessary amenities, nice beds, very helpful and friendly staff. The location is convenient, as it's close to many attractions around the area. Would recommend. Only issue is that from our room, you could regularly hear the alarm of the parking lot next door. Could be tuned out easily enough, just a slight annoyance.

Rooms were accommodating for my family. It was the room we needed for our Waikiki trip! The staff were lovely and was easily approachable for our needs. Being able to use the outrigger pool was a bonus. If I were to visit Waikiki again, I would definitely book here.

Walking distance to everything in Waikiki, spacious with kitchen, large balcony and all facilities needed. Would highly recommend, reasonable in terms of cost. Slightly dated, but wouldn’t take much to get it up to a very decent standard :)

They charge cleaning fees on top of destination fees, on top of ridiculously high parking fees. I was on a vacation package where I had already paid a "total price including fees is..." price, but then those were charged on top. If I'd have known about these extremely high extra fees, I would have chosen a different hotel. As they were hidden, I had to do a credit card chargeback. As for the stay, the first room had an AC that broke part way through the 2nd day. We had to switch rooms, and then the next room had a sink that was borderline non-functional, as it was way too close to the bottom of the sink basin to even fit two hands in a flat position at once, let alone clasped hands. Overall you can sleep there but expect to pay more than it's worth, be hit with high hidden charges, and generally not be worth the money.

Great location. We had a two bedroom apartment for us and our two boys aged 10 and 12 on the second floor. One slept on the pull out bed couch in the lounge. TV in all rooms which was good to give us all a bit of space. Good kitchen facilities. Aircon. Only annoying thing was a rubbish truck emptying bins at 3am and the deck off one of the bedrooms looks at a garbage skip and carpark. Rooms don't get serviced until you check out and resort fee expensive USD460. If you can do a cheap grocery shop then cook at room because food is very expensive and all the same. You need to walk down the road to the pool which isn't far. Overall ok but Hawaii has become very expensive.

Location, staff, parking, solid 5 stars! Place is located close to restaurants, shopping and beach. No pool at the facility but you can use the pool at Outrigger Reef which is a 3 - 5 minute walk. We stayed at unit 94, 1 bedroom unit with a balcony. I would book this unit for 2 ppl but not 4 as the pull out sofa was extremely uncomfortable! The mattress was thin, worn out and lumpy. You can feel the metal frame and every movement, the bed creeks LOUDLY. The bedroom bed was not so comfortable either. The bedroom doesn’t have a fan or AC so it got pretty warm and we needed to open the sliding window that separates the bedroom from the living room to get some air from the AC (didn’t help much though). I will stay here again but will make sure to ask for a remodeled/upgraded unit as they have any.

do not recommend it, they charge hidden fees for cleaning that they never do and for damages, they do not return the guarantee taken from the credit card. I was only informed of the parking charge, that I recognize that. It's not worth it, it doesn't have amenities, they send you to the pool of another hotel and the attention of the front desk doesn't exist. When I left there was no one to check out and I had to leave the parking sign above the desk. After a few days I receive the surprise of the hidden charges charged on the credit card that I put under warranty. I definitely don't recommend it.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. If i could give them a 0/5 stars i would. Payed so much for such a bad experience. Our room smelled like smoke and garbage, they didn’t wanna do anything for us and didn’t let us get our refund after we couldn’t even be there for more than an hour! Pictures make the place look better than it really was. Go anywhere else. They don’t care about the people but only themselves.

Great location, full kitchen & friendly staff. If you're more into airbnb than hotels, then this is the perfect place for you. We love having a full kitchen so we can cook whenever we want. We liked the access to the pool facilities at The Reef a block away. We also like the laundry facilities as we do not want to do check in baggage at all! We got a one-bedroom suite for our family of four. We are not super tall or big people so it suited us well. Next time, we might book a two-bedroom so we have more privacy from our kids. The staff was fantastic! They always welcomed us with a smile and were super helpful. Our departure flight was cancelled by Westjet eight hours before departure. They helped to extend our stay immediately and gave us an excellent rate. We really appreciated that as we were worried about being "homeless" over Christmas while not knowing when we would be able to return home. On Friday nights, you can see the Hilton fireworks from your balcony. The higher floors have a full view. Great Japanese restaurant, Wasabe, across the street. Take out from steak restaurant at Pagoda is a must for breakfast and lunch. Do be aware of the cleaning and parking fees. Some updating could be done in the suite and the hotel. They were replacing the hallways carpets during our stay so I'm hopeful it's better now. Next trip back to Honolulu, we're definitely coming back to this Regency location.

We had a travel agency book this hotel for us-it was marketed as a family friendly hotel and as a suite. It was on a side street, with nothing family friendly about it, the ‘suite’ was tiny and the lay out was awful. The tv’s did not work and the room was filthy. There is not even a pool at the site-you have to walk to the much nicer hotel down the road to use a pool. We checked in and left an hour later to a hotel down the road. We never got an any sort of resolution to our frustrations, the manager never followed up, either. I would stay far from this hotel.

Good place for the price spent. Our first couple of nights in room 21 were iffy. AC wasn't working too well, one room didn't have a fan, and the dishwasher was leaking. The tipping point was the ants we found on the dining table. They immediately changed our room without hesitation on Day 2 - to Room 36 and we had no issues after that! They comped our parking because of this which was nice. You get to use the pool and hot tub at the Reef location down the road, which is great. Good for a family needing a couple of rooms, on a budget, needing a kitchenette and close to the beach.

Great customer service from the manager Katherine and the rest of her team. Includes full kitchen. 1-2 bedrooms. 5 minute walk to beach. Located on the beach walk and close to plenty restaurants and stores. Ability to utilize other Outrigger resort amenities.

The location was great. We were able to hang out and use the pool at the Reef as well as the gym each morning. The condo was equipped with the general items needed to make meals. The staff at the front desk are super nice and are always willing to help with recommendations to visit. The condo was updated but a bit rough around the edges. Staying in town you will hear a lot of noises from the street such as dumpster trucks. On a positive note, it was nice to have the fresh market right outside the door a few times a week. Parking is $35 a day.

Beware of this hotel. The dirtiest hotel ever and they charge you a cleaning fee you 300 bucks bed bugs everywhere. My whole back is full of bites! I have to spray and smell OFF spray the whole week. After getting all this bites for 2 to 3 hours and a Benadryl we lost 5 hours of our time because I can’t drive because of the meds. Please don’t ruin you vacation go somewhere nicer. Thanks hope this help!

Cool hotel like 5min walking distance from the beach, only thing that sucks is theres only one washer and one dryer and it 4$ to wash and 3.75 to dry they only take coins and there no coin dispensers near and the stores are keen on making change
