Like this place, bell staff was very helpful with cab rides. Location doesn't offer as many eating choices as maybe being further east. 2-bedroom had pretty good space for 5, but room is in need of repairs. Door wouldn't close on its own because screws at top hinge coming out. Dishwasher had rust on outside and very dirty within. Many cabinet doors loose. Carpet ripped or not cut right? Bathroom ceiling dripping water from above. Had to go down to front desk to ask for a hdmi cable so kids could watch rental movie on broken ps3. Nice sunset views though.

Wanted to do a nice staycation since we are still in a pandemic. So we stayed in the penthouse. Was overall nice. Felt not everything was as clean as they say. Since the air vents were filled with dust. As well as some stains on the curtains. The carpets also felt and looked dirty. And the beds made my back hurt. I figured for how much they are charging they could at least do a bit better at cleaning. Definitely not the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Waikiki but could be better.

We’ve just spent two weeks at the Hilton Hawaiian Village staying in the beautiful Lagoon Tower. We have had an amazing time and would definitely stay again and recommend the lagoon tower to family and friends without hesitation. The location is superb and everything is easily accessible. The room was immaculately clean and you can see the housekeeping staff enjoy what they do, they are very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately we do have a few things worth mentioning: 1. The spas clearly state that children under five are not permitted however this was not adhered to and on a daily basis babies and children filled both spas, often playing and jumping around as if it was a pool. We were not able to use these on numerous occasions, parents obviously not adhering to the signage. The lifeguards frequent the area so it wouldn’t be hard for them to kick the children out for the enjoyment of the adults. 2. Breakfast events were held on four mornings with set up beginning at 4:00am each time. This is not acceptable for hotel guests, the rattling of the plates and trolleys being taken in and out meant that we were all up out of bed from 4:00am. Other than the above two points, we had a fabulous time and already miss beautiful Hawaii, thank you.

The Managers, and front Desk are very unprofessional.Hilton Honors member for 15 years.I been in Hiltons around the world. They don't know how to deal with situations. It's like if u don't like it. Where full this is Hawaii, will get another person. This is the worse So upseManagment I have ever seen in any Hotel in the world. And they want to sell you shares here.Sint do it. Garza Blanca are the best. So happy I didn't buy nothing here. The pool has 300 people in how an u use a pool like that. The bathrooms in restaurant Super dirty the food super expensive $50 a plate, overrated.you can get better food and a fraction of the price out of the Hilton U can get better food out of the hotel.

Worst staying experience ever. Furnitures and equipments in the room is totally good and the view was amazing, however the room has a lot of insects especially ants. We claimed the issue repeatedly to the front, but they never replied and ignored. We will not stay here again and will cancel the ownership.

My son loved the pool and slide options. He enjoyed watching the luau each night from the balcony. Staff was happy and helpful. Our room's AC was a bit messed up, so we were too warm at night... But otherwise, the accommodations were perfect.

The rooms are extremely care worn for what you pay to be a member. The penthouse has cracked tile, dirty bathrooms, food stuck to kitchen cabinets, dried food on the floor, beds with ill fitting bedding or just the wrong size bedding, it takes hours to get ahold of housekeeping to come collect rubbish, and the kitchen supplies are a complete afterthought. Maybe no one actually cooks here, but a wisk and dry measuring cups would be a welcome addition. I also wish Lagoon tower had its own shop. It’s not too far to walk to the other tower, but it’s almost like they go out of their way to make the Lagoon tower into steerage accommodations.

We had a 2 bedroom on the 5th floor of the Lagoon Tower. Our view was of the lagoon/ocean. The apartment was spacious and well equipped. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a free laundroom on the floor and detergent was provided. There was a nightly luau directly below our room that we enjoyed. I was nervous about the comments regarding slow elevators, rude staff, and crowding. We had no issues with elevator (because of low floor possibly), staff was fantastic, and we timed our activities to avoid crowding. Food on the resort property is unimpressive and expensive.

Very poor. Made reservations 6 months prior to going, reserved a room with a king bed. Arrived to check in and was told I had to have a room with 2 full size beds. I asked why because I reserved a king, they said they ran out of king beds first come first serve. Obviously upset I asked to cancel my reservation to book with another hotel and they would not allow it. Called front desk several times, got no answer. The hotel does not even have ice machines to get some ice for a drink in your room. Hotel is very old and loud. Will never stay here again and will not recommend to anyone.

We had a very enjoyable stay here. Everything we needed was either on- site or within walking distance. We had a 1 bedroom with small but full kitchen, marina/ocean view from balcony. Room was cleaned once for the week we were there, which was fine for us.

I’m staying in room 1869 and I put 2 stars because when I book and according to Hilton I should receive 2000 points as Diamond member but when I checking the concierge told me is not correct…. The room is excellent maintained it. All cutlery , coffee maker, rice cooker, fridge, electric kettle , etc. are in excellent state.

Would love to give this a higher score if they didn't charge you $68 a night to park a car. Horrible practice to screw over your guests with a parking fee higher than the daily car rental fee. Will not be coming back!

Honestly one of the best hotels I've stayed in for a while. 5 out of 5. Keep the good room service up!

This is a great hotel. Great clean rooms with the best views of the ocean and marina. Kitchenettes in the rooms for storing your food and beverages. Plenty of restaurants and shopping right across the street. Waikiki beach is right outside the hotel. This is our favorite place to stay when we come to Honolulu!

What can I say, It's all about location, location, location. The area of the hotel in Honolulu is magical. The rooms and service could use improvement, but it also depends on the amount of money you're willing to put out. Overall experience will bring us back here. Mahalo!!

Nice spot right on beach. Great view from lanai. Looks like HGV is redoing some of the units per notices by elevator. Room has nice layout, little tired. Not a great location as by the elevator but hey I'm in Hawaii.

We love visiting, but the downfalls are 68 is not cool enough for an AC, not really enjoyable having someone smoking pot on their balcony every time our 6 year old tried to go out, noise literally all night which okay cool your on vacay like is but at least make sure the walls are thick enough i don't hear them on the 7th floor with everything closed and the tv on!

Hilton Lagoon tower was built decades ago. The rooms are smaller, dark and old style unless you get a room with balcony. We were given the room with door next to elevator and the room just behind the elevator. There aren't enough resources to support all 6-7 towers Hilton has in the village. We found it too crowded, high priced restaurants. We had to go to registration desk to get two little bottles of water everyday. I don't understand why water could not be delivered to the room, why to make guests go down 20 floors to get two little bottles of water. We liked the little shopping complex that has restaurants, ABC store and other stores. Do not eat the Tapa Bar it serves high priced tasteless junk food. There was only one fitness center in a different tower you had to walk to. Do not attend Hilton Luau, there are better Luau available. You can park at Marina for $1/hr it is next to lagoon tower. Hilton charges you $62/day for parking. You can pay Marina parking system using online app, I found it safe and convenient.

The building is very old, with all the consequences like loud noises leaking from the outside (live music) and other rooms, broken windows. Some rooms were divided into two, leaving the second room with no balcony to dry up your clothes/enjoy the view. Hilton service is nice overall, but it is a shame they don't provide a bath robe/pajamas to sleep. Pools are overcrowded overall, and towel stands are opened only from 8-9am to 6 pm... which is not enough. Views are so-so, ocean is mostly covered by other hotel building.

Traveled with sisters for a mini vacation. We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo, very comfortable with a full kitchen. Everything was great except for 2 things, Pool and jacuzzi by the lagoon tower closes at 6pm and there is only one ice machine in the third floor for the whole tower which is 23 floors :(

We really enjoyed our time at the Lagoon Tower at Hilton Hawaiin Village. The room was a one bedroom plus. It was spacious with comfortable indoor furniture with a fully equipped kitchen. We had a balcony with an amazing lagoon and ocean view. The staff was amazing, especially a member of the management team Mr. Tatf. Thank you Mr. Tatf for handling our situation and personally stopping by room with a complimentary gift. Mr. Tatf your professionalism and hospitality is made this a 5 star stay. The village is great. It's a little expensive but such a convenience. The live entertainment at the open air Tapa Bar was a surprising highlight to our vacation.

This is an older building meant for longer-term stays. Kitchen with minimal supplies. Stove, fridge and dishwasher. Low power microwave. Free washers and dryers on each floor.

We like the location right in the Hilton Hawaiian village. It's close to the beach with many shops and restaurants in the village. Waikiki is walking distance away. We had a nice view of the harbor, ocean and sunsets. The was comfortable for 3 of us even if the layout was slightly odd and there is a lack of outlets for charging.

Wonderful stay! The village is amazing, the lagoon is great (sand is a little rough), the beach was amazing (need water shoes for the rocky bottom), best shave ice at the mini store near the super pool. The super pool was our favorite, the paradise pool was too crowded (has slides). The hotel is convenient to Waikiki Beach (short ride) and diamond head. Mahalo

Quick Recap: It’s nice with lots of businesses but it’s overcrowded and slightly overpriced. Detail: I went September 2022 with 7 other women. I booked through Delta Vacations a 2 bedroom ocean view room that I shared with 3 others. We got room 1569. It was very clean and nice view of Marina and ocean if you step on the balcony. The room attendants were super kind. I have no complaints really at all about the actual room. They had all the kitchen items needed and three TVs. Although this is an older building my room specifically seemed like it had been updated. They have 3 elevators and they weren’t super slow or super fast either. Kinda right in the middle. If you are a family with kids I would recommend this resort or if you are with a group who just plans on staying on the resort and not exploring the actual city…I would recommend. I came with a group of late 20s - mid 30s single women and this really wasn’t for us. It’s catered more towards families. A lot of kids, older couples and families everywhere. Not grown and sexy. Lol. Just very family forward. The pool in our building has the slide. It’s a really nice one but the pool was always crowded. Luckily each of the other buildings have pools and you can access all of them accept the Ali pool. The super pool was nice and spacious compared and they have wait staff that will bring you drinks and food. The adult only pool was a happy get away. I believe that one was in the Kalia tower by the spa. The beach stayed packed also. A lot of restaurants on site with great variety of cuisine. I went to CJs( for dinner and breakfast- they have delicious waffles with the butter. Didn’t love the bbq sliders but burgers were cool). Also went to the Italian place called Frescos (had breakfast their too). Loved the potato tots and the pancakes were good. Tropics bar has a beautiful view. It’s over priced and I believe my food was good but I was drunk that day so unsure. Ice cream place was delicious. I think that’s all I had on the resort. ABC stores were super convenient. I had a salad there. Still overpriced but delicious. The resort is close to a lot of stuff so it’s quick to Uber or Lyft to grocery store or restaurants. Average price was $8-$15. Parking is outrageous at $57 a night. We stayed for 8 days and only had a car half the time to cut on costs. If you do a ride share you have to walk all the way across the resort to the Diamond tower to get picked up. That really sucked especially because the airport shuttle dropped us off there with a bunch of luggage and we had to walk far. However, every time after that the drop off was at our tower. It’s just the pickup that’s far. We started putting our pickup point as Goofy Cafe and Dine because it’s a closer/easier walk. The only other complaint about my stay is that they charged a resort fee of $40 a night (which may be standard for Hilton…unsure) and it supposed to give you access to wifi, PlayStation, phone calls , video rental, a couple bottles of water, cultural activities (I didn’t see this), outdoor morning exercise classes and discounts on beach rentals. I’m sorry but that’s ridiculous. We literally only used the wifi because we weren’t there to play games and talk on the phone. If you say you don’t want those things, you should be able to not pay the fee. And it’s not like you got the beach chairs, umbrellas and activities for free. You still had to pay. The bike boats are $50+!!! That’s ridiculous. When I go back to Hawaii, I won’t be staying there. It’s just not for me but I recommend if you like the super busy large resort feel.

Rooms are outdated. Terrible customer service. The only good thing is the view. Not sure if I will book this location again.

The suites offer a full kitchen, very spacious, large bathrooms. Very happy with our stay.

Excellent place for a family to stay. Suites are huge and have all the necessary items. A star was taken off because during the pandemic filling the hotel to max capacity was prioritized over guest safety. Masking is not enforced and social distancing is non-existant. Elevators are overcrowded. I recognize that the hotel is not the "COVID police" but it was a much different vibe at the Holiday Inn Express where we stayed a few nights earlier.

Beautiful. Not as many activities or free. Very pricey but to be expected. Lots of kids. Great stores. Wish pools were open later.

Rooms are clean and the view is great. If you get a room on the resort side you can see and hear the Luau best are the lowest rooms

It would be 5 stars for sure EXCEPT for the elevators. There is a long wait at certain times and once 2 out of 3 of the elevators were down and it was insane trying to catch the elevator fir my brother who is in a wheelchair. Other that the elevators this place is awesome. I love it we stay twice a year

Booked three nights, Oceanview, shoulder season. Our condo was on the marina side, noisy in the evening and the view was from lanai only. Still iit was very comfortable, and we had breakfast each morning on the spacious lanai. Easy walk to numerous restaurants and shops. The resort was a little less crowded than previous visit, due to Covid. Couldn't get a chair at two larger pools, lines before they even opened. Short lines for restaurants and sometimes the elevators. A good stay all in all.

This is the value tower in the Hilton Village for sure. No in-room washer dryer. Nice to be so close to the beach but just realize this is THE oldest building here. Some images attached for reference. We love Hilton properties but this one needs love Mr. Hilton.
