My Mom booked this through Expedia for our recent trip to Hawaii. She was trying to get close to our hotel because it was sold out. This place looks NOTHING like the pictures on here or any other booking sites. Mismatched furniture, linens, curtains, and decor. Kitchen cabinets and shower (NOT BATHROOM) were obviously redone......nothing else. Cords dangling from places, sockets that were either fried or not working. One of the windows was cracked so they decided to use blue painters tape to “seal” it. Beds weren’t put together. The front door had a small window next to it at some point....now just a piece of plywood. In addition to all of that: their screening criteria isn’t appropriate. Men outside their rooms drinking, smoking, yelling at people walking by. Got a “hostel” / skid row vibe from the people I saw. The people in the office seemed nice but, they have to know this is wrong right?

BEWARE. Cons: units are in bad condition - old, poorly managed, AC machines are continuously dripping water from the walls, cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom, guest wifi continuously down, thin walls and very loud at night both on the street side and corridor side, missing bedsheet (inconsistent housekeeping), persistent unpleasant smell; lots of trash in the back/entrance area, feels unsafe to leave the unit alone at night. Pros: one of the more affordable places in Waikiki, large units with full kitchen, location is convenient (walkable to beach, brunch, grocery, food hall, international market, canal).

First off, it's right smack in the middle of waikiki where all the action is and yet the staff and owner gave us a home away from home feel . Everything you need is within a 2 minute walking distance. Grocery store, street markets, eateries, shopping and best of all the beach. A day before checking in, Robert the office manager texted us in advance for any other request or requirements that we might need and if we needed transportation from the airport. We informed him what time we would be arriving. Robert checked us in and helped with the luggage. The room is spacious, clean. It has a kitchen with stove , full size refrigerator and microwave. The place my dad and liked to hang out was the balcony. The liveliness of the area was intoxicating. Thanks guys for making us feel like part of the family. I would definitely recommend this establishment to all my family and friends visiting Hawaii.

The staff was very helpful, when I arrived late night. I enjoyed the my stay there very much. They have renovated the rooms since I was there before. Very clean and peaceful. And it is central to Waikiki and the many stores and activities available.

The bed was very comfy and the shower was good, but there were cockroaches in the room. There was unfinished timberwork with a roughly painted primed door and bare plywood on part of the wall. Various people were coming and going visiting the permanent residents in the building which was a little unnerving. The location was handy and central and pricing was good for the location.

Fine place for the price. The employee we met most with was very helpful and friendly, despite setbacks around him. The room was great, had a kitchenette with stove, microwave, and full sized fridge. They provided us with an air mattress free of charge which was fantastic. And the place itself is walking distance to everything you would want to do.

Worst experience in Hawaii for renting out a hotel. This was my second time visiting Hawaii. We paid close to $200 a night due to season and the room wasn't even worth $80 a night in my opinion. The bed's had torn sheets and the fan above the bed looked like it had better days before. There's a 0.5 inch thick dust on it. TV in the room never worked it was there just for display. The bathroom needs a lot of attention as well. Oh and the horrible smell in the room that never went away. Random things were just laying around and some drawers were filled with trash. Attaching some pictures.

So this place was perfect for what we needed. No it is not a hotel. No there is no daily cleaning service. No it is not brand new or very updated. We booked our stay here because we were traveling on a budget and I wanted a room with a full kitchen so we could save money on dining. The Staff were amazing. Very helpful and attentive enough when we needed them. But we are low maintenance, not fancy people. I appreciated the privacy and the lack of people around 24/7. When I stay at hotels with my kids, I always feel like I have to tell them to stop having fun, don't be loud, etc.etc. While staying here, my kids referred to the room as "home" more than once. It was perfect for what we needed and Howard accommodated special requests. Would stay here again if we ever get the chance to return.

If they just fixed up the place itself & make sure all the appliances & what not inside the rooms making sure everything works & runs properly the place can look as nice & brand new as some of these other hotels in Waikiki. It just needs some touch ups to be done & keep it maintained & this place can be the next "HOTSPOT" in Waikiki especially where it's located at.

Great place to experience Waikiki and not pay that outrages Waikiki prices.. Plus they take cash deposits and help when your reservation from another hotel and you need a place to stay... Staff makes you feel at home.. this place is a true home away from home....

Management and staff were friendly, room was clean. Amazed at the thick walls, at one point I didn't realize my next door neighbor was playing music until i went outside. Absolutely loved the location, it is two blocks to the beach, and anything you could want within a few minutes. One of the nicer blocks in all downtown IMO thanks to the little triangle park in front. Hilarious people complaining on here about the neighborhood, it's downtown in city of 1 million! Much better than you'd expect if you are familiar with downtown areas on the mainland. I arrived at night and a security guard greeted me getting out of the cab. Management certainly doing their part and I appreciated that.
