I had an average experience here. My waitress eventually got me a beer then I had to chase her down for food. Surfrider burger was a huge disappointment. Tasted old, fries looked old and were cold. Buns had like a charred oil on them and the entire burger had a bitter taste. Just no way worth $30. Music great but ended after I was there 30 minutes around 6:30. Said he had to leave. No doubt, this is a nice place and could be way better if organized. You really have to fight for a table search. People hanging over my table waiting for me to leave was a real hassle. There should be some sort of coordinator or manager because it seems like it’s running on auto pilot,

One of the beast locations to have a drink in waikiki. Nice seating underneath a banyan tree. Great 👍 live music. Can get very crowded in the evenings. Little loud.

Fantastic setting for breakfast, lunch or dinner or just a casual drink by the beach. Great service and food. We went for a lunch. You don’t have to stay at the Moana Surfrider to book a table.

The breakfast was super good and the portions are huge. It has a beautiful view inside and out and the staff was very nice. The one issue is for the price of the meals...we had a few to many mistakes with our orders on multiple occasions. It felt like wasting food at some points and I felt super bad. That's really the only thing keeping it from 5 stars. But like I said our breakfast was always on point.

My sister's and I stopped here to have a few drinks and appetizers. The atmosphere is awesome and it's located right next to the sand at Waikiki Beach. We've been here before and always enjoy our time here! Drinks and appetizers are great!

Listen to the sound of the ocean mixed with live music and the low rumble of the crowd while you sip on a tantalizing treat expertly poured into a plastic cup with its accompanying paper straw. Great vibe and delicious drinks in a lush garden setting below the banyan tree.

We came here for drinks on a Tuesday night, so cannot comment on the food. It took some time to get the attention of the server to get us a table, and took a long time for the server to bring menus, then take our order again. It was a decently busy, weekday night. The location is beautiful and we were able to watch the sun set.

There were not enough stars for the atmosphere nor for our server, Ken. He gave us wonderful suggestions. Ken was prompt and kept our glasses full. We ordered the garlic shrimp, steak, Poke bowl and mushroom poke. The portions were generous. The sauces were minimalist but perfect to portion. The food came extremely quick. The beach dining at sunset could not have been better. The cost was reasonable for the area. The only challenge, we were too full to try the desserts. Might need to make a stop again soon for some of that banana nut bread pudding!

Such an amazing location! They are very busy, but so worth visiting! The views are absolutely incredible! Right when we sat down, we were helped right away! They lady was so sweet and on top of her game! Always checking in on us, and would fill our waters right away! The menu itself had a wide variety of food and everything we tried was delicious! It is a bit pricey but given the views and location, worth it!! We were visiting during sunset and it was beautiful! Definitely recommend!!

We came here for cocktails while waiting for our dinner reservation at another place. Lovely live music and fantastic views of the beach, good service. The price for the cocktails though my gosh that is not pretty xD it's about $20 per cocktail.

Located just steps from the beach, Beach Bar offers a good view of the shoreline and a refreshing ocean breeze of Waikiki beach. During our visit, we were lucky to secure the last patio table right in front of the beach. We sampled the Pupu Sampler and Surfrider Poke Bowl, both showcasing fresh local Ahi. The Poke Bowl had a delightful crunchy texture from the wasabi peas and onions, offering a nice contrast to the silky Ahi. The Ahi in the Pupu Sampler also shined. However, the chili crunch edamame on the plate was just average, with the chili crisp not adding much to the edamame's mild flavor. The sampler still redeemed itself with the coconut tamarind chicken wings. Although the tamarind seasoning was slightly heavy-handed, it paired brilliantly with our tropical cocktails. Overall, a solid spot for sipping cocktails and enjoying light bites while soaking in the stunning beach view.

Our local friends booked in advance. We were in the lobby end so we were able to take full advantage of the entertainment after dinner. Our ribs were tasty and very tender. The brussel sprouts were overcooked and dry which was a bit disappointing. Overall the food was good and our waiter was able to get our friends a Caesar Salad made even though it is not on the menu. The entertainer was exceptional. His music had people dancing all over the foyer area and even up the stairs. Eclectic age group and dress styles from beachwear to evening gowns. Certainly a people watcher's paradise.

Live music and out door seating made it a enjoyable experience. Food came in large portions.

It's a beautiful view and a nice area, we ate by the pool, but the pupu platter was really not good and the drinks didn't have much alcohol for the money. Super pricey place for very mediocre food, you're paying for the view of the ocean or the ease of being served by the pool. Service was great though and the atmosphere is nice filled with happy vacationers.

Lovely atmosphere, and fast and friendly service. We were lucky to find a table at 545pm. My dinner partner ordered the shrimp, which was a huge 9-10 piece portion of gigantic shrimp and very tasty. I got the Ceasar salad which was fresh and filling, even without any protein topper (4 options). Margarita seemed weak; sparking water was fine. Sunset was beautiful! Bathrooms were functional but old and very basic.

Make sure to save an evening to have cocktails while watching the sunset at the Beach Bar. It's right on the water with a relaxing atmosphere, usually with live music, and really strong drinks. If you're going to have just 1 drink, make it the Sunset Mai Tai. Service was amazing and the ambience is what aloha is all about.

Joey C. was our server and he was on top of our water and checking in to make sure everything was good. The garlic fries were amazing. Great edamame, Ceasar with chicken was good as was the poke nachos. Beautiful view to enjoy dinner and drinks.

Spacious beach side bar with great food & drinks, vegetarian options & friendly helpful staff at Waikiki's oldest hotel, the classy Moana I love the courtyard bar set around a huge old tree- not cheap but high quality

Had the pupu sampler, grilled kukui sausage, mai tai and pinacolada. Great place to sit, relax and people watch whilst enjoying the scenery. The pupu sampler was nice. The tuna was delicious! the pairing with the sesame oil was magical. The marinaded chicken had an intense flavour, the edamame was nice. The grilled kukui sausage was nice but the roasted garlic aioli with confit onions through me off a little. IMO the combination of flavours didnt work that well together. The fries were amazing. Service was absolutely wonderful, very welcoming and hospitable. View and overall vibes were both fantastic. Definitely must give this place a visit if you are in the area.

Waikiki is awesome but you can do without too many turist. I guess because is awesome everyone wants to be there. After all you can definitely have fun here, but just make sure you go to other places outside of Waikiki. :) 😀 have fun here

Very nice. Great service on both times we were there. Corey and Ono are super. Food is very good and the drinks are okay too. Trade wind keeps it at a great temperature.

We didnt book reservations, so we had to sit by the bar. They don't seat you, you have to fight for a seat and then the server will come to you.. Food was was good! I cant believe the fried katsu pork was my favorite dish! Great food, Great live music, and great services. The night view was beautiful.

😐 We checked in here for a late lunch and it was a bit of a disappointment. The food was better than it looked like and the beer was alright as well. The place was almost empty and there were a lot of pigeons. I gave only 3 stars for the service because you order online and there's little interaction...
