If you’re looking for a good place to pick up something for a quick bite, Foodland in Ala Moana Mall is an ideal place to go. Prices are reasonable and food is always fresh especially the poke and sushi. I attribute this to the high turnover of product. They’ve got a huge selection. Get there late and your favorite might be gone. There’s also a small bar in the middle of the store if you’re looking to have drinks and/or pupus.

Foodland is my favorite grocery store on the entire island. Their hot food section includes fried chicken, roast chicken, salads, bento boxes, dips, sashimi, seafood, deli and of course their poke bar. The amount of selection you can find in terms of taste, variety and freshness is unmatched.

Five stars for variety and presentation of their prepared foods section! It was wonderful to browse all the food options and the only thing I was sad about was not being able to try it all. I loved, loved, loved, the cut fruit fridge and the poke bar! Posting only a small portion of the prepared food options. You really need to go and see for yourself...there are too many options to choose from!

Stopped by here to buy some ready made food before going to the beach. Great selection that it was hard to choose. Everything we bought was delicious. I bought a poke assortment. It tasted fresh, and only $18. They also have some that you can buy per pound. For dessert I picked up a pack of ube mochi cake. Wish I bought 2. It was so good!

The Best and Affordable Supermarket in Honolulu. They have the best Poke and it’s very delicious 😋 The entire place is so neat and clean and all the staff in this store are very friendly.

Very clean store in a convenient location. I came here for one reason…poke!!! I accidentally got a scoop of the frozen poke, and the nice employee switched it out for me. A real homie. I need to come back!!! It’s worth mentioning that the selection of $15-ish pokes was less than the location in Market City. Still worth it though!!!

Quick ready to eat food available like sushi, there’s a station where you can get Poke Bowls, served with warm white rice ready to enjoy. It’s also a supermarket with a great selection of wines, artisan bread and many more things.

Exquisite, Immaculate, Sophisticated, beautiful, upscale shopping in the heart of Honolulu/Waikiki! Located in the upscale shopping mall, Ala Moana Mall. In my opinion, nicest grocery shopping store on the island! Shoppers are a mix of tourists and locals. A coworker introduced me to Foodland Farms, and every trip to Honolulu now must include a shopping visit. Once you step inside the store, you will see and feel the difference between Foodland and their competitors. This is a regular size store, NOT a big box nor super mega center store. The fixtures, lighting, displays, flooring and decor are soft, earth tones very soothing and comforting. No bright florescent lighting nor obnoxious store announcements. Shopping here is totally pleasant and stress free! Foodland has all your grocery items and so much more. As you enter the store, you can't miss the beautiful, fresh, excellently displayed fruits and vegetables! The fresh pineapple cubes are amazing, so delicious!! The bakery is one of my favorite areas, even if just to look and admire the amazing, decadent desserts. The deli serves a wide array of hot and cold food items, including pizza. One of my favorites is the orange chicken. Meats, breads, juices, dairy and everything in between is found here. Although I'm not a seafood nor red meat lover, I enjoy admiring the different selections of meat/seafood cuts at the meat counter. The colors and shapes so perfect they don't look real (they are!) This store also includes a wine bar, prominently located in the center. Among the many customer friendly features and services; a whole checkout section dedicated to 10 items or less (not just one or two lanes.) There is also additional check out lanes for shoppers whom have more items to purchase. As I often do, I save the best/nicest feature, attribute or service to last; in this instance, the wonderful, professional, friendly, helpful customer service staff! Hawaiians are generally very polite, friendly people. The Foodland staff go above and beyond to deliver excellent customer service and care. In my opinion, Foodland Farm's employees are some of the most friendly people on the planet!! Foodland Farm's has my highest recommendation. When visiting or living in the Waikiki area, this is an excellent shopping experience for all your grocery needs!!

This is a grocery market that is very chill. Subdued lights and non linear aisles create a more modern and trendy appearance. There's a bar in the middle of the store which is odd but looks trendy also. The prices aren't that high compared to other markets and the selection of ready to eat food is good. The fresh poke and bentos are good along with the sandwiches. Lots of parking and the register lines were long but fast.

Literally my fav local market and always my first and last stop when on island. With the very sad and tragic closing of Shiroki Village walk at Ala Moana due to the pandemic this Food land fills in the very large gap left by them for bentos and small to go portions. Every favorite local food at your finger tips.

Just get the regular poke (they say it is previously frozen but technically all fish for consumption raw is previously frozen in the US). the regular one gets sold out early in the day especially the shoyu flavor. The more premium versions have huge leftovers everyday. I am wondering if they get disposed of at the end of the day or remixed with fresh batches. Having tried both a couple of times, you actually prefer the regular one as it has a better texture and less salty. last but not least, the rice there sucks big time, dry and mushy. It is not sushi rice for sure. probably one of the worst on the island.

WHAT A GREAT FIND! Prices are fair, service is excellent and the poke selection is crushingly good. Ask questions, walk around, enjoy. For anyone staying nearby, make the effort to grab lunch items here and then picnic anywhere on the island. A truly cost effective move.

Affordable pre-packaged meals and some friendly employees. One employee who was at the fried chicken station seemed like she was not having it. Some items were missing a price tag.
