The fish here was fresh and the rolls were tasty. Some days they have hamachi. The only issue is the roll form factor is not that easy to eat. It doesn't stick together well like a burrito, so it basically falls apart as you're eating it. Getting white rice helps a little bit. Brown rice just ends up being a huge mess. That said, it looks and tastes good. If you want to avoid the mess you can get the bowl version.

Cute cafe in the Halekauwila Place serving healthy bowls and rolls. The burrito sized rolls are wrapped in nori which is something different that you don't see everyday. Love the options you can choose from to totally customize your meal. They also offer coffee.

Ok, so the hard reality is that Up Roll Café in Honolulu is pretty much my favourite place on the planet, but unfortunately it's a 10 hour flight away. Never has Hawaii felt so far, as when I'm craving one of these stunning sushi burittos. Honestly, this place is THAT good. My friendrecently found Up Roll on Instagram & while in Hawaii last month, we made it our mission in life to walk here. Over the course of 16 nights we ate here 3 times, the last jaunt was in complete despair on our way to the airport. Yep, we both bought an 'Ahi Lovers Roll' to take on the flight home to Sydney. Screw you airplane food! After working my way around the menu a few times, the Ahi Lovers Roll remains my steadfast favourite. I ordered this twice with a decent amount of extras including, avocado, Japanese basil, cilantro, pickles & inari skin which worked to soak up the sesame sauce really nicely. The ordering experience here is unique, much like the food concept which allows you to tailor the roll to your own taste. The menu is designed checklist style & allows you to choose additional extras to add to your desired roll. Possible options include a roll or a bowl, type of rice/quinoa, sauce & toppings. The combinations are endless. There's genuinely not enough ridiculously wonderful things I can say about this place, just thinking about it makes me hungry & fills my heart with a longing that only a great ocean can create by its divide. ... Hell, next time we're both buying t-shirts from these guys so we can let our inner 'Up Roll Groupie' flags fly!

We recently stopped by for lunch. There was no one in the cafe but many people came in to grab orders they had placed online. We were greeted and helped right away. Our food came out quickly and we were pleasantly surprised at how fresh and flavorful everything was. Look forward to trying more items and checking out other locations for Up Roll Café!

Aloha; this is a must try. The owners are super sweet japanese and they know how to make fantastic food. From grilled shrimp roll to poke bowls, it's all wonderful.

Walked in and was immediately greeted with a kind welcome by the women working there. They cheerfully explained how to fill out the order menu and bring it to the register when completed. The food was prepared in reasonable time and tasted amazing. I ordered the sexy salmon bowl and highly recommend it. The staff seemed to enjoy working together which made the atmosphere more positive as well. Can’t wait to go back to try something else. The location was also great as I was making my way to the street art murals, which you should definitely check out in the Kakaako neighborhood!

I ordered a custom bowl in uber eats when I was not feeling well and they packed it so full and left a little note on top that’s said like “hope you enjoy thanks” with a smiley and it was so nice and i felt so much better! thanks y’all! All the veggies were super fresh and just what I needed 💕

Really cute spot with some Merch and indoor and outdoor seating. Good tasty and fresh food. They even got mini simple rolls for the kids. Goods services fast and everything as described.

Uproll has been one of my favorites since it's opened. The food is so flavorful and the staff is so kind! I love that there's vegan options as well.

If a burrito and sushi had a baby, this would be it. You mark your orders on a laminated card and hand them to the cashier. It's very convenient. You can get your food in a roll or in a bowl. Getting a roll can be a bit messy, but it's worth it.

Ordered a large takeout order for $500 for a big group. I paid over the phone. Without my approval or knowledge they included a 15% service charge on the bill, which I received via email later that day. That’s just not a good practice to try and sneak in tips like that without a customer’s approval.

The food was great, we got the crab and the ahi sushi burritos. their mint lemonade was verrryy minty and the jalapeños not spicy whatsoever. the plates were unreasonably small for how messy the food was. Overall a nice experience

Create your own bowl. Aioli chicken, spicy shrimp, rice, corn and sprouts. Wife got the same. But, went the keto route with lettuce inside of rice, and edamame. Delicious! Normally don't eat food like this. Definitely worth the try!

The Food is great, but they do not honor(false advertise) “BUY $100 GIFT CARD AND GET AN Extra 100% FREE” or whatever % amount added on free with gift card amount purchased which varies. I received a gift card from a friend who purchased one for $100 and said $200 should be on there due to the offer stated on their website. Was definitely disappointed when I put in an order and they told me only $100 was on the card. Review and statement were accurate as of October 2021 when this happened, haven’t gone back since

Fast, filling, and fresh. Ordered the “build-your-own” roll with white rice, spicy garlic shrimp, cucumber, fried garlic, green onion, cilantro, sprouts, sweet onion and tomato. Also, got two sauces that were equally complimentary to the roll and delicious…ginger dressing, and green sriracha. A perfect portion that leaves you satisfied and not too full. Definitely will be returning.

VERY pricy, tasty, healthy. Didn't like being told we couldn't eat there because they were closing (at 3:45) until the moment our food was ready. Deliberately overcharged to do half greens half quinoa cost $6 w no warning. Was $21 w dressing for the bowl.

It's been almost a week. I'm still dreaming of the bowls here. Far and away the best food we had in Hawaii, and honestly one of the best meals in quite a while. Everything was super fresh, the ability to swap in salad instead of rice to keep things even lighter was great. Inari tofu as a veggie choice was fantastic. Can't recommend this highly enough.

Super fresh and delicious option! Portions were good sizes, the fish was flavorful and fresh, the veggies were all fresh as well and the atmosphere was clean and inviting. Staff wasn’t super helpful. Definitely would come back.

Up Roll Cafe is very close to my office, so I come here very often for lunch and always get the same thing. I put in my order and sit down in the front to wait. I see the girl make my order, but I guess she forgot an item, so she proceeded to stick her finger in my roll in an attempt to shove the item inside. I was shocked and disgusted! I confronted her and she just shrugged and started making a new one. No apology and no explanation on what she was doing. The owners need to train their employees a little better on how to properly handle food.

Great interesting and unique food. The menu is a bit confusing.

California crab roll bowl which supposedly should be California crab hand roll. This is the 2nd time my order was wrong but I didn’t make a fuss and the employees there were like sorry and didn’t offered to correct it. I thought the crab was too creamy and smelled fishy so I did not finish my food.
