I love Thai food and was really excited to enjoy the options offered at this small upstairs eatery outside the clatter of Waikiki’s robust restaurant options. We didn’t know this place existed until it was spotted on a walk around town. It is a small restaurant, however, what it lacks in space, it makes up in light, decor, ambiance and cuisine. It also isn’t a hinderance that it small, as it makes the whole experience much more inviting and cosy. The server was a very sweet and soft spoken Thai woman that made our dining experience all the more pleasant. Her service was coordinated and not pushy. We felt genuinely relaxed and welcomed. When you’re shoved in and out of Waikiki restaurants, this is a nice reminder of how eating out should be experienced. I ordered what you see in the picture below in medium heat. I ensured with our lovely waitress that the medium was tolerable and not extreme heat as the menu itself warns that they will not refund you if you order food with a high level of spiciness. The server reassured me that medium would be sufficient and I could eat the food without a water hose at standby. True to her word, the food was perfectly spiced and the wide egg noodle dish was decadent. Curated with Thai seasonings and heat, it exceeded my expectations and I’m always thinking of when I can return before we head home. Coincidentally, I had ordered a Thai Milk tea which never arrived. In the tropical humidity, I was craving one to enjoy before my meal came, but nothing arrived. I inquired with our server and she mentioned that she didn’t want to interrupt the flavor of my meal with that of the tea and held back from bringing it to me. She wanted me to try the food first before impairing it with the tea. I really appreciated her foresight and ensuring my culinary journey would be exceptional. All in all, I adore this small restaurant and encourage you to try it when in town. A refreshing dining experience in the combative restaurant scene of Waikiki.

You know; I've been frequenting this place for more than for years when I come down to escape. Typically, it's better than good. Tonight was, eh. Why is that? The food taste was watered, and the server was less than attentive. What do I mean by less than attentive? He neglected to bring the requested prik pong when we ordered; he never came around to ask how is everything, nor did he attend to the bill. Sure, I can move past; however, I'm not dining on charity. Then, there's the issue of cleanliness in this post COVID spin cycle. Here's my be wise tip; ask who seats you to reclean that table in front of you before sitting because I witnessed people changing tables, and no employee was rewiping before someone else sat. Ewweee. Is it that hard to control your dining room? Summing it up. Lowered food taste authenticity, lowered service, inferior attention to cleanliness/hygiene, amounts too bad business attention to the details.

Very good! Try the calamari…different than the usual, but really crunchy and good!! Pad See Ew with beef was fantastic…went to the Korean ‘family’ restaurant a block away and we were turned down saying they were too full even though no one was waiting. Like zero. Very glad we came here instead…total karma thanks to the idiots a block away.

Very cute place to sit and eat although we took our food to go. Super tasty, large portions, and very affordable. Hard to find stuffed chicken wings anywhere - made my day.

Great value Thai food. Excellent service, place was busy for a Monday night. Love the atmosphere. We loved the fact that they put on the menu that many traditional Thai dishes are spicy hot and if you want otherwise you must say something. I will say one critique is the wine list. I work in the wine business and you can put together a great affordable list with wines that pair well with Thai food. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely our favorite Thai place here on the island. We are definitely big foodies and this lived up to the expectations we had. Probably the best meal we had while here. If you like really spice food and thai food definitely check this place out! Highly recommend!

Wonderful food. Got the traditional Pad Thai and Thai Noodle soup(pho). Both dishes simple and clean. Only criticism. On the Pad Thai, need to include a couple of lime wedges. Would definitely go back. Nice staff and table setup.

While visiting the area, this place was so good that we had to come back again! Absolutely delicious Thai food and reasonable prices for the area. You have to try their chicken satay, it is super tender and super flavorful. Their curries are amazing as well. You will not be disappointed dining here!

The last time I ordered pad thai and they gave me mushy over cooked noodles. I called them about it asking for a new one and they refused to make a new pad thai. Will never ever go there again. Also be weary of tipping them for takeout. I was doing that but they automatically charge u an extra 15% which is bull. They shouldn't even be doing that for takeout and they should at least tell you so ur not tipping them 30% to ring up your food and not even fix it if they mess up.

The best Thai food I've had on this island so far. The green curry is among the most popular. Yellow curry a bit salty but still very good. The tom kha is perfectly seasoned and the seafood portion is very generous. I love their food very much!!!

Our first stop after arriving in Honolulu was to grab a bite to eat and we were recommended to try out Siam Square. A warm and welcome environment with a friendly staff who wants to make sure we are enjoying our experience. The food was tantalizing and a welcome change of pace from our usual food choices. Definitely a location we will keep in mind with our next visit.

9/25/2022: located in Waikiki Beach, Honolulu, Hawaii on the 2nd floor above an ABC store. The dining room is brightly lit and decorated. The appetizer summer rolls were light and wrapped in thin cellophane squares, rate it 10/10 (peanut sauce comes with). Relative to previous shrimp pad thai meals I have had, I rate this one a 9/10; and the pineapple fried rice with 7/10. The total came to about $45.

This Thai restaurant was absolutely incredible! The service was super friendly and made me feel so welcome. And let me tell you, the fried rice was out of this world! It was seriously the best I've ever had in my entire life. The flavors were so rich and the rice was perfectly cooked. And don't even get me started on the hot and sour soup. It had just the right amount of heat and tanginess. It was like a flavor explosion in my mouth! I can't recommend this place enough. You've got to try it THE BEST THAI FOOD IN MY LIFE

Great food, service and value. My colleagues and I ate here twice on my last trip to Honolulu. We will definitely be back. The staff is very friendly, and they sat us quickly. We ordered the Tom Kha soup, it is delicious. We also ordered chicken pad Thai, sweet and sour beef and cashew beef. Everything is flavorful. Highly recommend for an affordable dinner!

Best thai food I've ever had in my life (haven't visited Thailand yet), I would assume this is as close as you can get outside of Thailand. If I ever visit Hawaii again, this place is a must visit. I visited 3 times in the short time I was there. I fell in love with their pad thai and their tom kha soup. The service is very quick and their servers are very friendly and helpful. It's also located in a very convenient place very close to the main tourist street in A la Moana.

Exceptionally authentic! I haven’t had Thai food like this outside of Thailand - was so packed with flavour. We got the Green Thai Shrimp Curry (medium heat), basil fried rice and the garlic sweet Fish - all incredible! But fried rice was top notch!

Very good place to try, friendly service and Fast. Good portions, and delicious food. Medium spicy is very spicy, So beware if you are not used to spicy food. I removed one star because of the bill. Written in hand on a piece of paper and totalis calculated manually, did not like that part!

  • 5/5 Alex T. 2 years ago on Google
Everything was delicious, enjoyed every bite! All in all, great price for a great meal. Make sure to get the spiciness you are able to handle, we like spicy food and asked for medium which was good 🤙

The food was good, service was good, but watch out for their one lump sum bill which does not show the items and the prices of the dishes you ordered. If you order more than a few items, make sure to get an itemized bill showing the price of each dish you ordered. All they gave me was one lump sum bill and receipt which may or may not be accurate.

We were on a staycation in Waikiki and wanted Thai. Having serious reservations on eating Thai (i’m thai) believing it would cater to tourists and not be authentic, I took a chance anyways. I’m glad I did. Considering we are in a pandemic, the restaurant was pretty busy but socially distanced. We decided to do take-out and waited outside for our order. The lady who took our order was also the one waitress. She was super busy but efficient. I ordered panang with tofu $14, medium spice. It was a large portion, delicious and spicy but not too spicy. My kid had the ginger chicken $14. She ordered without mushrooms. This was prepared much different than what she is used to (chicken and long beans) but having tried theirs, stated it was the only way she’d eat bell peppers. That speaks volumes as she doesn’t like them. Flavors were very good and not overpowering. We also ordered sticky rice $2.50. Their portions are big for takeout and I had leftovers for 3 days. Sticky rice was also generous. I definitely would come here again. It’s true not to judge a book by it’s cover. It’s located upstairs and I would never have seen it just passing by. Not sure where I’d park if I drove (walked from our hotel) so would assume street parking. Give them a chance. A little pricey but definitely delicious.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Worst thai food place I've ever been to. Incredibly rude staff and absolutely disgusting food. The pad thai tasted like I was eating ketchup. The kitchen looked incredibly dirty after they left the door open. Pantry food was laying on the ground and it seemed like there was no standard of care at this establishment. Would avoid at all costs, couldn't finish my food at all. That's how bad it was. Got up and left after ten minutes of getting served.

Ordered the Rad Na with beef and Thai style phở with beef. The rad na was especially delicious and flavorful. The phở was good, on the herbal and aromatic side, like a northern Vietnamese style phở (I personally prefer southern style though ). The staff was super sweet and attentive. We had originally ordered to go but a flash rain decided it didn't want us to leave so they were kind enough to let us back in and dine. They were quick to provide us with plates, bowls, and utensils and showed great hospitality.

Good food and quick. Could Improve their customer service. Make another was much better than the female waiter. One of my pet peeves is when the staff talks with their language. Especially when they look at you, and it makes you feel they are talking about you. Stuffed Chicken was good and pad see ew. Tamarind soup was spicy and thick. Different, and it's one of those dishes that might require an acquired taste.

The food was ok. Ordered the cashew shrimp/pad thai/spring rolls. I was a little annoyed that the waitress left the bill with no mention that the tip was already included in the total (15%). We caught that later. I wonder how many people are caught out like this since it is very close to a touristy area. Then when we asked for an itemized bill for T&L business expense, a rough copy with short forms like PT and SR ( spring rolls) was given-the docket he took the order on. The waiter was slightly rude in his explanation. I think restaurant experiences have to be whole..food, service and ambience.
