***EAT HERE*** But prepare for a WAIT. Good breakfast portions! Lovely presentation and visually appealing. Coffee is tasty. Wife had Florentine Eggs Benedict with pancakes and rates it a 7 of 10. Needs more flavor. Perhaps onion. Pancakes were made perfectly and very fluffy but had a heavy taste of flour. I had the macadamia fruit pancakes and they were excellent. 10 of 10 for me. Ask for extra syrup and try the butter. Sensational. SERVICE Very good even though busy. Kimmie was great. WAIT Always a wait. 27 min for us and we ate at 1100. BILL $46 for the two of us. $55 with tip. We didn't buy anything extra. 2 meals and two drinks. CLEANLINESS Not the greatest. I'm rating this a 5 of 10 based on the bathrooms. They're not trashed, but definitely need a good scubbing. Nothing that the management can't rake control of to boost the rating. Deep clean and repair things broken. RETAINING COVID Take the stupid barriers down and open up the beakfast bar seating already. We are done with the stupidity and have learned that plexiglass didn't change a thing. Hit the HELPFUL button if this was beneficial for you. Mahalo, Brian Hargis Google Expert Guide

This spot is amazing!!! We were hesitant to come here because the entire time we have been in Oahu the lines have been crazy long (multiple locations) but we decided to give it a wait. The food was amazing! The eggs benny was cooked perfect, and the pancakes are delicious. I would recommend this 100% to anyone who is looking for a classic breakfast with a Hawaiian twist. -Colter

Really great food but really big portions! There were so many things on the menu that we wanted to get, we went a little crazy. Highlights were the rainbow pancakes and French toast flavors (pictured). We ordered banana and chocolate chip, both were amazing. The rainbow pancakes had macadamia nuts in them which was tasty. The array of fresh fruit on top was great. They also had a breakfast burrito and other pancake flavors which we liked. We did have to reserve a table, but the wait wasn't long and we did it in person. A great place for breakfast, just consider sharing the portions were enormous!

After researching the different Eggs N’ Things locations in Oahu, it was evident that the best location is the Ala Moana location. Due to the fact that these locations tend to be very busy, I booked a 7:15 reservation on Yelp for the Ala Moana location. This location serves locals and it has free parking right in front of it and you can also park at Ala Moana if desired or the parking lot is full. We arrived a bit early at 6:30 am before they opened at 7 am. Hardly nobody was in the parking lot at all at this time, so we got a great parking space. It seemed as though they weren’t going to open on time, but someone came and unlocked the door right at 7 am. After the opened, we were the first customers in the door. The hostess asked if we had a reservation which I informed her we did for 7:15 am. We were promptly seated and a waiter came to use for our drink orders. My boyfriend ordered the fresh squeezed orange juice and I ordered the fresh squeezed guava juice. We were brought waters and our drinks which were refreshing. The guava juice was not too sweet with a mellow fresh taste. As people began to file in, the staff did a great job of making sure everyone was socially distanced with seating. The waiter took our order which we initially wanted 2 orders of rainbow pancakes. He insisted that each order came with 3 pancakes so we decided to just get one order. The waiter also gave us an extra plate so we could share our pancakes. We also ordered 2 orders of the Portuguese sausage, scrambled well eggs, and potatoes. The food took about 15 minutes to come out which was pretty quick. The pancakes were so delicious and fresh with a heaping amount of whipped cream and macadamia nuts on top. Also the fruit topping included fresh kiwi, strawberries, pineapple, cantaloupe, and bananas hence the name rainbow pancakes. We also decided to get the coconut syrup which was a great addition. The pancakes with the coconut syrup was absolutely delicious especially paired the whipped cream and macadamia nuts! The sausage, eggs, potatoes was also very fresh, hot, and tasty. We didn’t finish the sausage because it was so heavy, but nonetheless very good. After we finished we were given a check which we took to the front counter and paid with a card. This establishment takes cards or cash. They also have a little gift shop towards the right of the front door where you can buy souvenirs and goodies that have the eggs n’ things logo imprinted. I would recommend this establishment to locals and tourists with a visit to the Ala Moana location for much more ease in access and the best quality food out of all the locations. I would also advise that someone make a reservation on Yelp prior to for quick service.

Great view and decent food. Always has a long wait usually about an 1 1/2 but if go on their yelp app you can reserve a table ahead of time and get an idea of the wait. It worked perfect for Us.

My food was great! I got their special which was the French toast with apple cinnamon,, whipped cream and macadamia nut toppings. Our waiter was great too. My only complaint was the wait time was horrible. Waited almost 1 hour to get seated when there was empty seats for 20-25 minutes. They're seating/waiting system sucks. You definitely need to call a head or make reservations before waiting outside for almost a hour.

The food and service *SHOULD* be five stars: the reason for the deduction is the strict protocols, like having to wait until your entire party arrives, and dining in limited to one hour (sorta “unlocal” since cannot join last minute, and like wala‘au long time). But given how crowded it gets, especially during peak tourism season, I totally get it. Other than that, the food and service was excellent, 5+!

Great spot for breakfast. There was a short wait but it was well worth it. Pork adobo fried rice was awesome. Spam fries are exactly what you would expect from 2 great ideas spam and fries. Burrito was pretty good but 3rd best out of the things we ordered.

Wish I could give more stars because the women in here were very nice including manager. It took one man -Randy- to bring this rating down to 2 stars for me. I'm going to flat out say it Randy came off very racist towards us. 4 African Americans brought out his truth I guess. We woke up starving and picked a place but a quick turn accidentally put us here (around 8am). We were so hungry we decided to park and go in. On entry we're greeted by the ladies and seated Went straight to viewing the menu ,barely said a word to each other we were focused lol. Randy appears We start ordering drinks he says ok and literally walks away as we're still talking he had to turn back to us to answer "Kona coffee". We think wow he's in a rush. Now for food, we all know what we want so we're going around the table , he takes 2 orders and starts walking away again! says ok he'll be back for other 2. We say no way we're all ready now. At this point we start to feel it's personal because the place wasn't crowded where is he running to? Food arrives we ask for ketchup packets (the bottle on table was dirty) Randy says we don't have those & we're thinking what do they give for take out? As we're about start to eating more patrons enter, Randy now has 4 tables us, a hawiian family behind us, 2 tables both white families in front of us. We see and hear him greet all those tables with a smile, actually stood at every one having conversations and laughs. Randy has checked on the 3 tables multiple times, NEVER came back to us even tho we were there first. Just imagine your waiter passing you by going to table behind and in front of you. We flagged down a waitress and inform her of what's going on with randy & ask for someone else she apologized and helps us with more coffee, we then ask her about ketchup packets she says they have them and brings us a bunch from a basket at the front desk where they all stand!! Geesh were not even worth ketchup packets? Anyway the whole experience was such a turn off we all ate due to hunger but definitely lost our appetite. We explain entire situation to manager she apologized multiple times. We PAID our BILL with tip to new waitress and left. Shame on him, shame this review is not food focused the meals were likely very good but we lost any joy for the food at that point.

Eggs`n things is a must when visiting. Food and service is spot on. The portions are huge and generous. Food quality is also good for a cafe style restaurant. Lots to chose from as well.

The food was fantastic! The kona coffee was incredible. The fresh Lilikoi juice was BEYOND AMAZING, along with the half papaya. I got the mac nut pancakes with coconut syrup and they were perfection, super fluffy and lots of fruit and whip on top! I LOVED THIS PLACE. I just wish they had a restroom.

It is a great breakfast restaurant coming with great service and hot and large pancakes. The cream, pineapple and nuts flakes made the pineapple perfectly sweet and tasty. One thing I suggest is that they could serve some small sizes of pancakes, like kids’ meal. The breakfast food might be too much for me, a man, as breakfasts. I only ate one piece of the three pieces. So, it could be a waste.

With a wide variety of tasty breakfast selections, I had the pork chop with a grilled pineapple slice & scrambled eggs served tornado-style, along with a stack of fluffy pancakes (be sure to try their awesome coconut pancake/waffle syrup!). The restaurant has a clean appearance & a friendly atmosphere, with excellent air-conditioning. The staff is attentive and accommodating, so I highly recommend dining here! Reservations aren't allowed, so be sure to "waitlist" via their website (you must be within 5 miles of their location).

The initial reception was less than what I was expecting. The server made up for my perception and more. Compliments to the kitchen the food was excellent. The greeters topped of the meal with a warm an inviting smile. Highly recommend making this a stop for a great meal.

The portions were huge. I only had the pancakes. It wasn't anything special, it's basically a diner food chain in Hawaii. Cute gift shop at the front, I bought some souvenirs for my family.

Eggs 'n things are always so busy! The wait time for this location is the shortest compared to the other two main ones that we decided to come here first. As I was on the bus I joined the wait-list through yelp. When I checked in it was just a short 10 min wait compared to 74 min wait at the other location. The food is simply amazing 😍 the coconut cream syrup is so good that I'm so disappointed they are not selling it due to shortages 😭 everything we ordered are so delicious. The benefit of traveling in a group is that we get to order different things and try everything 🤣👍

Food was good. I had the volcano burger good spice, good flavor. The waiting was long 1hr. I don’t know if I would wait that long next time but just to give it a try it was definitely good. Prices are affordable. Overall a 5 star review.

Delicious breakfast and wonderful service! Denisha was a great, kind waitress and took care of everything we needed. The pancake meals are far too much for one person to eat, so I would recommend sharing with someone else. The whipped cream on top tasted so good, and was piled so high! :)

They are known for their pancakes but i was not impressed. The toppings were excellent however the pancakes were kind of bisquity i guess. The crepes with sour cream was strange and none of us liked that. The other food in the pictures were delicious.

Not a bad breakfast spot near Waikiki. Did not like that I had to check-in and provide my info even when there’s no waiting. I like menu with its large variety of breakfast options. I got the pork with eggs and a short stack of pancakes which was a lot of good. I had some coffee as well. My wife got scrambled eggs with potatoes and an iced sweet cappuccino. The cappuccino was really a latte with a good amount of whip cream. The service was okay. We rated them 5-stars because my wife loved the place and the food. I likely would have gone with 4.
