Excellent options to choose from. The employees were very nice and welcoming and very helpful! The store was clean and they have snacks here as well as beverages. You can't go wrong with the shaved ice here though. It's super delicious and refreshing! You can park on the street or park in the lot next to this building for 15 minutes max. Would highly recommend this place!

Some of the best shaved ice I’ve ever had. They hype was real. We actually went back and got seconds because we knew we’d probably not have another chance to try it again for years. So good. Please open up a shop in Houston, TX.

This is the best shave ice I’ve ever had. So finely cut and smooth. The syrup is not overly sweet. Really enjoyed the Waiola rainbow with extra condensed milk drizzled on top. Yum. This is a Mom & Pop shop in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of locals. Not everybody knows about Waiola’s. So worth the trip. It is so much fun to see all the little kids eating shave ice, spilling it on their shirt, dripping it on the bench, etc….

Let me start by saying I’m not a shave Ice aficionado in fact I think this was my first time having a shaved ice. Walking up to the counter was a bit overwhelming as there are so many choice’s. The line was long and I didn’t want to hold it up so I let some people pass. I chose to go with custard shave ice with the original flavor. I loved it the custard was buried in a mound of coconut flavor shaved Ice. The serving was large and the flavor went through and through. Would absolutely go back.

This convenience store maxed out all of its stats on its shaved ice soo hard that the actual convenience store part is secondary now. They became an extremely famous shaved ice spot so it makes sense. The shaved ice from here is literally one of the best in the island

A definite MUST when visiting Honolulu! This shave ice is not like any other! The ice was so soft and was almost creamy! So many flavors to choose from and very inexpensive. We stopped twice during out trip!

There's a lot of hype and I was expecting to be blown away by the flavors. The great thing about this place is the use of natural cane sugar vs corn syrup (if that matters to you). It's not bad but not great. It's a great place for an intro to shave ice

Tasty shaved ice. I like the custard one. The lady recommended original flavor but I should of chose my own. The whole thing only tasted like milk.

Great shaved Ice. I got the Lilikoi and melona flavor and really think the lilikoi was the star. The syrup tasted super fresh and the texture of the ice was phenomenal. They shave their ice in a traditional way (not some of the ribbon shapes you may see at other places) but it’s so fine that there is a lot of air and surface area - this allows the ice to taste super airy and almost creamy. Highly recommend!

Probably tops the list of shave ice on Oahu for us. We enjoyed several flavors, mostly the tropical syrups, which was made quickly despite the line out front. This store is iconic and has several signature flavors to prove it. Although I have a favorite elsewhere, the flavors here weren’t overly sweet and ice quality was very fine, not icy like other stops. I’d recommend anyone in Oahu to give it a shot. Parking around the neighborhood was easy enough.

Great shaved ice place in a neighborhood just outside Waikiki. Syrups were all really good, not too sweet and they had ice cream and condensed milk toppings too. Best part was the ice itself, not chunky or grainy but really smooth texture which is what you want it a shaved ice. The line wasn't too long for us, but they included simple instructions for efficient ordering. There was also a convenience store attached to it, with random stuff and swag (t-shirts, magnets and stickers) Will definitely be back again next time I'm in Oahu!

Excellent shave (not shaved) ice. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood and in a corner store. The shave ice has a fine texture (not like typical shave ice). They offer about 30 different unique flavors and toppings. I’d recommend trying a few and sharing. You can get up to two flavors unless you get rainbow. A small was more than enough for me and I’m a big dessert person. Street parking only.

Tried Waiola TWICE..We got: Custard Bowl Lilikoi/Pineapple Shave Ice Waiola Rainbow Obama Rainbow Ice is fine, but melts way too fast Syrups taste very Artificial. We prefer shave ice places that make natural syrups like Uncle Clays House of Pure Aloha and Ululani's on Maui.

This is a small shave ice place that also doubles as a store. They have a parking lot next to them where one can conveniently park. A small bench next to the order serves as their sitting area. The store seems popular among the locals as most of the customers were walk-ins. We ordered their rainbow shave ice, which was decent. Their coffee shave ice not so good. Their vanilla ice cream was good. Very creamy. Their ice was kind of dense, compared to the more airy, fluffy shave ice in higher end stores. But overall good and reasonably priced

The BEST place for Shaved Iceeee! It was a little corner shop where you lined up and ordered from a side window. There were 2 small benches outside for you to sit. Service was fast and don’t let the line scare you. Even for one person, I would recommend you to get the bowl instead of the small cups as the syrup won’t be able to cover the bottom of the cups! Their shaved ice was superrrr smooth and the syrup tasted so good. No artificial or chemical taste at all! Topped it off with +$1 condensed milk was totally worth it and cannot the missed!

This is one of our favorite shaved ice place! The place is decorated very cute and the selection is abundant. The shaved ice itself was pillow-y and has a really good texture. With the mochi and ice cream, it was a good combination. However, I wish the flavors were a bit more strong as when the ice started to melt and become a slush, the flavors became diluted and not good.

So... I was able to visit my BFF that I haven't seen in over 10 years💜 We BOTH have grown up in Mo'ili'ili with that being said, Waiola Shave Ice was a part of our lives when we were little and have fond memories with our Dads 💜 Personally... I prefer their shave ice over others because of the 'melt in your mouth' kind of ice. And...those flavors 😍 I ordered a large with Mango, Blue Hawaii and Creamsicle with a Condensed milk drizzle 😋🤙🏾 Personally... I could have eaten TWO more😁 All of you should check it out🤙🏾

If you want a cheap shave ice? yes Do you want a good shave ice? Idk Is it worth trying when you are near by? yes Would I drive to come back here? No Beans were cooked perfectly but custard was too eggy.

Always a nice place to visit for a cold treat. Service is always fast and the ice is really shaved. There is an assortment of flavors and the sizes are good for their prices. Would say has quality that is better than Matsumoto from the north shore. Just a personal opinion.

Best shaved ice on the island! A local gem and a must stop whenever we are close by. Great prices and a nostalgic moment every single time. I recommend getting ice cream at the bottom to enhance the flavors on top. Waiola rainbow or another rainbow is a great beginner flavor for all the best but ice cream is a must!

The best ice shaved I've had. Love the fashion fruit flavor and the rainbow 🌈.

The ice was smooth and fluffy. Definitely a better texture than on the mainland. That's the only thing that made it stand out. Other than that, the flavors were similar to anything you'd find anywhere else in the United States.

Worth the hype (and the short wait). The softest shave ice I've had so far compared to other places I've tried in Maui, Kauai. Unique flavours too like ube and ginger.

The best shave ice on the island hands down. The ice is so much finer here than at other places and they have a crazy selection of flavors and mix-ins, plus a store full of other snacks and drinks.

👍 This is literally mashed up frozen banana. From the texture, it is amazing that this is pure banana. However I'd take a real banana ice cream over this any day. 4 stars for decorating it well with half a pineapple. However overall this doesn't add up to the hype. My recommendation to the owner is to...

👍👍 Really nice coffee shop. The baristas are awesome and the cappuccino was perfect. Great addition to Ala Moana. The lanai was nice, too.
