This is a lovely place in a dreamy location. I’m hesitant to review because I’m not sure I want more people to know about it. Please know this is a treasure and should be treated as such. We were a large group of women that arrived early in the morning during the week, it was our first outing since the kids went back to school. We were treated like family here, such wonderful service! The food is quality and very reasonably priced. Plenty of seating (self seat) inside and outside under lanais. There was a long line when we left and the parking lot was full. Morning people should plan on showing up early and later people should plan on practicing patience. It’s worth the wait, I promise.

My favorite place to have coffee, a scone or other yummy food. This is where I bring everyone who visits, and if I have a choice, this is my place for breakfast and French Pressed coffee!! Great people, beautiful location, scenery is wonderful! Prices are excellent!.An absolute must for visitors and if you are local and haven't been, you are missing out on something special!!

Stopped by after a hike at Manoa Falls. I loved the acai bowl and rice plate. There is plenty of covered outdoor seating. The breads and baked goods looked so delicious. Cherry on top was the excellent coffee.

Incredible revival of a long-standing neighbourhood spot. Always a spot outdoors to sit. Please don’t give the staff a hard time when asking for your vaccine card! Recommend everything - banana mac nut pancakes, açai bowl, avocado toast, croissant breakfast sandwich w avocado. Tip well, and always get a scone to-go!

Popular spot for locals and tourists. It was quite busy when we arrived. You order your food at the counter and then grab a seat. Servers bring out your order to you. Although it was busy, our food came out relatively quickly! Everyone enjoyed their meals and we all got baked goods for the road too. Very nice atmosphere with open air dining.

You can't go wrong here. I just knew I had made the right decision to eat here as I walked towards the restaurant. I tried the Short Rib Loco Moco. It is your favorite Loco Moco on steroids. The flavors are amazing. You get 2 short ribs that are super tender and full of flavor. The gravy is a bold beef flavor that has to come from the short ribs drippings. The eggs were prepared exactly as I requested (over medium and no runny whites). I asked for half of the normal rice. Everything was perfect and then it got better. The flavors of this took me to my childhood Sunday lunch. It was really good pot roast and the best gravy. Comfort!!! I will come back for sure! The Banana Macadamia Nut Pancakes with Coconut syrup were very good as well. Portions were big. I also recommend that you get the French Press Coffee as well if you like Coffee. Again, you can't go wrong here!

I didn't get the hype. Yes, the spot itself is beautiful, especially if you sit outside. But it's also really busy and noisy so it's a challenge to fully enjoy it because you're surrounded by lots of people so it's not relaxing or peaceful at all. Staff was nice. But the food is just average, I didn't find any specific taste or creativity. This is just a very regular eatery in a nice place. IDK why people are so excited in reviews - seems like they are just excited about vacation and extending their excitement on just an average stuff

This is my favorite brunch spot on the island to meet girlfriends for a nice long catch up session (although you can’t get a mimosa or any alcoholic brunch drinks). The grounds are beautiful, the tables are all lovely. You can choose an outdoor garden setting, or an inside seat in one of the many island style rooms. The short rib loco moco is SUPERB. Lovely avocado toast, also. The lemon blueberry scones are also a “must try”! I’ve never ordered anything here that I didn’t love. 💕 *Coffee and tea come with free refills, just take your cup to the counter.

Been to 35 countries and 40 plus states and this was one of our favorite places. Great good. Super amazing friendly staff and love the mission of what they do to help people get on their feet in life. Did I mention how amazing the food was! Beautiful grounds as well

This is a quaint tea house nestled in the lush Manoa greenery, popular for brunches among locals and tourists. The building is surrounded by giant trees which gives a great atmosphere. The menu is sufficient, not too big and not too small with lots of pastries to choose from and all my food is generally nice. I ordered the mochi waffles and would recommend you to try the same. During brunch hours between 11 am - 1 pm it gets packed and the line is pretty long so I would advise against going around these times because parking is limited and you would have to fight for tables. They also offer an event space for private events that can accommodate around 20 people. Great spot for company retreats or birthday parties.

What a wonderful place for breakfast or lunch. Fresh made pastries, bread & all served food. This place employees those that have come out of a troubled past & teaches a trade & da deal with their problems. The food was very tasty & the croissants are so light. Their fresh baked bread is light & very tasty. I highly recommend it.

A hidden gem in lush Manoa Valley. Food is fresh and delicious. Coffee is so good. And the history of the place is meaningful. Love bringing my family here. Hours are limited, but seating is ample. I always order the Loco Moco. The pancakes and mochi waffles are solid. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place to grab some really good food. Spacious and airy establishment tucked under a beautiful canopy of tree at the base of a mountain. A very positive and meaningful history recently revitalized with a new mission to help women with a second chance. Look into it and add and extra something while enjoying the great service and food.

Absolutely incredible place to eat. You feel like family as soon as you step into the restaurant. Gorgeous scenery (in the rainforest!) and incredibly kind staff. Ross, Eli, and Tiffany are absolutely lovely. If you are looking for a breakfast or lunch spot, this is the best on the island!

We just happened to google this hidden gem nestled in the trees in a cute old building. Cozy place for take out or plenty of inside/outside spots to sit. I had the avocado egg on toast which was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! My husband had the egg croissant which he enjoyed but would have added a meat. We both enjoyed the blueberry scones. Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch on way to falls.

This is a lovely cafe with good food, a cozy atmosphere and beautiful gardens surrounding it. There are not many vegan friendly options (you could do the avocado toast but have to ask without eggs or cheese) but you can get vegetarian options. If you don't want a full meal, they have yummy baked goods to much on or you could also sip on some of their hot or cold beverages. If you're going to Manoa falls, this place would be great before or after your hike.

Food recommend: lilikoi & mango scone, banana mac-nut pancakes, and short rib loco moco. It's a pickup style cafe vibe for the most part. Nicer dining options in the back. Can be very hard to find a table during peak hours so be prepared to talk to folks leaving to get their spot. Highly recommend the food but the lack of parking & tables keeps it from being the best brunch spot in the area.

Great service and delicious food! I had coffee, sauteed veggies, and the banana mac-nut pancakes (their sauce for the pancakes was so tasty). I loved the ambiance of the place and will definitely be back for weekend brunch with friends! It does get busy, even on a Wednesday, so not ideal for sitting to study for many hours at a time.

Their scones was fantastic the first time I ate it nice and moist. But today it was dry and turn into crumbs. I guess it a hit or miss probably depending on who the baker is. Try to ask to sample before buying. I don't know if that's a possibility. Good scenic tour but not a hike. Interesting plants and outdoor scene. Interesting architecture but lots of modern changes. Today 3/17/22 I ate the savory scone and it was fantastic. Nice place to meet someone to just enjoy their company. Very relaxing atmosphere. Nostalgic feeling. You have to see it to appreciate it.

The rustic, tropical vibe welcomes you as soon as you walk out of your car. The setting was cozy and the food is sure to make you feel at home in Hawaii.
