Whole
Foods
in
Kaimuki
or
Kahala
Mall
excuse
me
is
really
nice
but
nowhere
near
as
complete
as
the
Whole
Foods
which
is
just
behind
Consolidated
Ward
Theaters.
That
is
the
whole
foods
that
has
a
wider
range
of
products
however
Whole
Foods
prices
especially
for
their
hot
bar
have
gone
way
off
the
sharks.
It
was
always
ridiculously
expensive
and
if
you
did
the
math
you
would
realize
that
for
going
through
and
putting
your
food
in
a
little
takeaway
container
and
paying
by
weight
at
the
original
price
of
like
$10
a
pound
it
cost
you
almost
as
much
as
what
you
pay
to
sit
in
a
really
nice
restaurant.
Which
may
be
one
reason
why
it's
situated
across
the
way
from
very
expensive
condos.
And
the
same
of
course
goes
for
the
one
in
Kahala
Mall.
Now
they're
charging
almost
$14
a
pound
so
it
really
is
ridiculous.
If
you
want
hot
food
if
you
want
any
kind
of
meat
product
anything
that
weighs
a
lot
you
might
as
well
go
to
restaurant
where
you
can
sit
down
and
have
them
serve
it
to
you.
But
for
some
people
who
only
eat
small
portions
and
who
want
to
indulge
in
a
diverse
menu
that
could
be
the
best
place
to
go
there's
no
question
that
the
one
in
Kahala
Mall
has
a
nicer
Ambience
because
you
can
sit
outside
you've
got
the
whole
Mall
there
next
to
you
so
you
can
get
other
things
to
go
with
your
food
it's
very
bright
and
sunny
and
pleasant
and
the
one
which
is
behind
Consolidated
Ward
is
more
of
an
interior
building
and
they
haven't
really
reopened
the
dining
places
since
covid
shut
them
down.
There
are
still
places
outside
to
eat
but
not
nearly
as
many
and
plenty
of
people
do
pick
up
their
lunches
there
it's
usually
very
busy.
Even
as
an
Amazon
Prime
member
there
aren't
as
many
sales
on
that
make
it
enticing
to
go
there
for
a
long
time
because
of
Amazon's
purchase
of
Whole
Foods
prices
in
many
cases
were
more
reasonable
more
like
going
to
a
regular
supermarket.
And
also
there
would
be
sales
on
which
really
made
it
worthwhile.
Right
now
post
covid
all
of
the
prices
have
gone
up
there
are
fewer
sales
and
fewer
products
available
for
sale
are
on
a
sale
that
you
really
want
to
buy.
Just
a
heads
up
the
baking
section
with
the
fresh
breads
in
Kahala
Mall
is
much
smaller
and
has
fewer
choices
than
the
baking
fresh
bread
section
in
the
big
Whole
Foods
on
Queen
Street.
Your
best
bet
if
you're
not
going
to
get
there
till
later
in
the
day
is
to
find
out
what
you
like
and
call
ahead
and
ask
them
to
save
something
for
you
because
by
the
time
afternoon
rolls
around
chances
are
many
of
the
breads
that
you
were
hoping
to
get
have
been
sold
out
they
don't
have
as
much
as
they
used
to
have
before
covid
in
terms
of
quantity.
One
recommendation
I
have
for
sure
is
that
the
baguettes
at
the
Whole
Foods
Market
Queen
Street
for
$2.69
are
fantastic
and
they
come
as
close
to
what
I
have
tasted
in
France
back
in
the
day
of
any
baguette
anywhere.
That's
only
20
cents
more
than
what
you
pay
at
Safeway
for
a
far
superior
product
so
if
you
want
a
baguette
go
to
Whole
Foods
Market
Queen
Street.
