I love this place. I wish there was one on the east coast. Endless Japanese products and food. I bought the roll cake from here every day for 2 weeks. The prices are more affordable than the ABC stores and other gift shops. You can literally find almost anything here. Bring reusable bags.

Never enough time in a day to browse all of the cool stuff they sell here! From souvenirs to chocolate, to household itemsโ€”you can find everything! My favourite is the fresh seafood and sashimi, along with musubi! The added bonus is they are open 24/7 which is great when you need something after hours.

An excellent store to experience and check out if you're in Oahu. I would highly recommend this amazing grocery store. It has SO many products that you can find from Japan. The products ranges from car interior, kitchenware, bakery, a grocery store filled with the usual Asian ingredients. There are so many products. So many foods. So many things you will be able to find here. They also have very good deals on souvenirs. You'll find haircare products, bathroom products, and much more. Parking is tight but you will be able to find spots. It's easy to navigate through. The store is well lit and very well organized. But the labels are a bit hard to read on your first experience but overall, still a solid place to the stuff you need.

Love Donki, or Don Q, or Daiei (the store formerly in this location) - when visitors come from off island I take them here for their wide selection souvenirs, bentos, liquor and just cool stuff from Japan. I have purchased everything from a small exercise bike to the latest trendy snacks here. Itโ€™s like a mini department store where they have everything from groceries to cleaning supplies to cooking utensils to cosmetics. They have a great selection of Japanese and Korean goods, from snacks to kitchen ware. You wonโ€™t find the Toki Doki stuff here anymore, itโ€™s over in the Waipahu location. I suggest going early in the morning or late at night, this location is open 24 hours so you can avoid the crowds.

Love buying souvenirs here because it's affordable and has a wide selection of everything! Definitely suggest coming here for souvenirs! They have really good sushi and desserts here too. I got some salmon sushi and it was very fresh. They have a wide range of items from food to everyday use items and even camping items as well!

Great Japanese/Asian super market where you can find anything under the sun. However the sushi counter is underated and one of the finest on the island. Go early though so you get the fresh stuff.

You'll find a few things here actually exclusive or cheaper than Walmart. They're surprisingly a neat place to get Gundam models, Zojirushi rice cookers and kettles. Knocked off a star for inconsistent poke and ready meals ... Could be stale or just plain low quality.

If you only have time to stop to one place to get souvenirs. Go to this place. Not only do they have Hawaiian items, they also have souvenirs and items that's from Japan and South Korea. Everything is for a great price and well worth it. I bought so many snacks and food items and they lasted for a long time.

Interesting store with a bunch of Japanese prepared meals. Their Hawaiian souvenirs are cheaper than ABC stores. Customer service wasnโ€™t that friendly. I thought the store was a bit disorganized and overwhelming.

Always love shopping in here; great prices with a lot of choices. Workers are friendly and helpful. My visits are enjoyable each time. 3/24/22.....Market is still great. Some changes with items relocated in the store but it gives you the opportunity to explore. Don't forget the merchants outside with varieties of food AND a coffee stand that's always a must!!!

I love myself some Donki. Opened 24 hours, sells about everything you can think of. Way more wholesale/Walmart style building than in Japan. Also less weird products than in Japan and loooooots of food options.

Awesome supermarket with a heavy influence of Asian food and merchandise. Love going here. Parking can be a hassle. I usually park in the garage across the streetโ€ฆitโ€™s in the shade. Oh yea, they told me fish on the sushi is fresh, fish used for poke is frozen

Don Quijote Honolulu has a very wide variety and assortment of Japanese products, fresh fruits and vegetables. A convenient, 24 hour around the clock, one-stop shop for individuals of all ages, especially the elderly. Seniors get discounts on ALL Tuesdays for the entire day and between 6:00A.M. to 7:00A.M. every day of the week. Very friendly administrative staff, check-out counter personnel and grocery baggers. Yes. AND PLEASE mask up, especially on Senior Tuesdays!!! The seniors and everyone in the store will thank YOU!!! Mahalo nui loa!!! Masku o hamete kudasai neh!!! On Saturday, September 9th, 2023, Don Quijote Honolulu's staff celebrated it's 25th anniversary serving the Honolulu metropolitan area. The Don Qui charachature was on hand taking pictures with everybody. There were party balloons posted and big fanfare on this very special occasion. All of Don Quijote parking lots were "filled to the gills." And, street parking around the supermarket quickly disappeared in the moring. It was an evolving party throughout the day. Happy birthday, Don Quijote Honolulu. And, may you have many, many more serving our community!!! (NOTE: Please with the Don Qui character, which appears later in this post.) I believe it is your very BEST Japanese products store away from Japan!!! Step inside the store and you're temporarily back in Japan. Boku wa tonikaku so omoi masu!!! (Translation: "In any case, I think so.")

Ate Poke Bowl for $8.89 tax included at Don Quijote on Kaheka St. It was fresh, made at the location, and it was really cheap especially when compared to what the tourists are paying just a few blocks away. The main part is it tasted good and it was the real cheap eats.

If you want to go to a local market place for your essentials and freshly-made food during your vacation stay, Don Quijote is IT! Good fresh food and a bit less expensive than some of the other similar places nearby. There are also several food service establishments at the same location which offer good stuff. The only thing that is a bit of a downside is the parking. The lot is not huge, and when it's busy be prepared for some waiting and space circling. But who cares...Don Quijote! Check it out! :)

Amazing supermarket! Surprised the name hides the fact that it is a Japanese supermarket! Greta prices and amazing selection. We picked up some Shoju and crepe cakes. Both were fantastic. It was a feast for the eyes to walk through the aisles. If I get a chance to visit Hawaii again, I will be sure to have space in my suitcase to buy some of the cool things from this supermarket!

Such a cool store alternative to Walmart. Lots of cool products at semi decent pricing. Love that thereโ€™s a lot of Asian products here to choose from. They definitely know the market! If you come to Oahu this is a place you definitely want to check out!

This place use to block fire exits with pallets to prevent shoplifting between 12am to 5am for over three years the last time was October 24 2023 and they never told the public endangering all the workers and customers during this time.

Absolutely love this store. It's obviously not quite as good as the ones in Japan, but it's definitely the best you're going to find in the States!! From yummy snacks to cute squishy plushies there is a lot to explore in this grocery store ๐Ÿ˜Š
