Talk about fast, great service, great taste. We were seated within 10 minutes and the food came out shortly after. The portions were very plentiful and all the servers were very on top of making sure all guests had a great experience. The prices were very reasonable as well. A great local taste!

Sweet E’s Café is by far my favorite breakfast place is Honolulu. I’ve yet to have a thing on the menu that I thought to myself “hmm, I can skip that next time”. Everything on their menu is phenomenal. Regardless of what you get, you should add an order of French toast, it is on of their specialties. With both inside and outside seating, Sweet E’s is able to seat many people, but be prepared to wait if you aren’t there within the first hour they are open. But don’t be discouraged, the wait is absolutely worth it.

Very homey feel in the way that the food was cooked. The food tasted delicious and the portions felt just right. We had zero wait time which it was great. We were lucky to get a parking spot since the parking lot is very small and looked full coming in. All servers were very attentive and service was exceptional. Give them a try.

Everything about this place was excellent. The customer service was exceptional, the speed of service was unlike any other place we visited in Honolulu thus far. The food was great, options for everyone and affordable! The wait was only 20 minutes and we were in and out in an hour. The wait staff was extremely friendly and considerate, I couldn’t ask for a better experience!

Major top level breakfast!! Portions and flavor are on point, such great food and great service! Low key atmosphere, indoor and outdoor seating, the whole crew was totally on top of every step along the way. We had a breakfast burrito, waffle and the essential breakfast (I think). I am a breakfast burrito aficionado, expert and connoisseur and let me tell you, theirs adds up, great all around!! Hash browns were cooked perfectly, waffles too. Their French toast options sounded and looked amazing, those are a for sure thing during our next visit. Wife, Daughters and myself were all very happy, highly recommend!!

Good food, but touristy(the restaurant has no fault in this). It's an extremely cute place with decent food and reasonable portions. I had the eggs benidict with pork- yummy! The fried rice was some of the best I've had on the island! Parking was atrocious! I recommend people park at Safeway down the road to avoid the hassle. Overall, staff was kind and quick. I'd return.

Eat with the locals at this quaint restaurant. This is not a fancy place by all means; however, the food was good, service was quick, but you are not rushed. The was a waiting list when we arrived but we were seated fairly quickly. It was worth the wait. If you’re in the area stop by. We will return tomorrow to try something different.

I have been to many restaurants on vacation for breakfast across the globe and on many occasions, I've had some great experiences with great food. With that being said, I must say that Sweet E's Cafe is one of my all time favorite restaurants for breakfast. Sweet E's opened over a decade ago and is a family run business and when you're here, they treat you like family. While vacationing in Honolulu, we on the recommendation of my wife who's been here before decided to check out Sweet E's and the food, service and hospitality kept us coming back for more. When you see Sweet E's from the outside, you don't think much of the restaurant but when you come in then you see that they are all about family. On the many occasions that we were here from the first time to the last, we were treated like family. The food is amazing and consistent. The food portions are perfect for the price and to find food this delicious and at such a reasonable prices is almost unheard of in Waikiki. I went with the All American breakfast with eggs whites for my omelet and every time I ordered it, it was consistently delicious, well cooked, seasoned perfectly and balanced out with hash browns and toast. My wife and daughter went with the Everyday breakfast and always enjoyed their meals as well. The atmosphere here is very casual, inviting and familial. There were times when the talking level was loud then there were times that the noise level was normal but it spoke to the way that people enjoyed their time and their food. The customer service is amazing, professional and again, familial. I really can't say enough about Sweet E's other than to say that they should be your first stop for breakfast when in Waikiki.

First impression, a very busy restaurant but that’s a testament to how good the food is. There is an option to dine outside on a covered patio or indoors, we ate it inside. The variety of Eggs Benedict was their recommendation and I went with the Corned Beef variety and it was fantastic! Food was great and didn’t wait very long. The customer service was great as they always had smiles on their faces and was always ensuring if we had everything we needed.

The service gets 5 stars and the food, 4 stars, so technically, I'd give Sweet E's a 4.5. I had the Hot Mess and a side order of the blueberry cream cheese filled French toast. We got there at 9 and was able to sit down after a 10 minute wait. A huge rush of people came right after us, so I think we were just lucky. The parking lot is small but there's parking on the side street.

Everything we had here was top notch. We were greeted quick at the door, didn’t have to wait too long for how busy it was, and the service we had from the second we sat down was top notch. Never once was I sat looking for my waiter, needing a refill, or feeling like I was being ignored. The food was also top notch. As for food we got the breakfast burrito with the Kailua Pork (so good), the banana filled French toast, and the corned beef hash Benedict with their fried rice. The burrito was my favorite part, their Kailua pork was Smokey and salty and complimented the rest of the burrito really well. Corned beef hash Benedict was next, crispy corned beef and a perfectly poached egg on top of their English muffin, it was really awesome. Can’t sleep on their fried rice either, a little bit sweet but also salty and fresh tasting. French toast was good, just a little too much of the filling for me, my wife loved it though! All in all I’d suggest this place to anyone in Honolulu looking for a quality, fresh bite to eat. Everything came out extremely quick and hot, and VERY appropriately priced, like the cheapest meal we had on the island. No complaints here, GO HERE if you can!

    - What I recommend: Blueberry cream cheese French toast - What I ordered: Blueberry cream cheese French toast, croissant sandwich - Tip: Go before it closes before 2pm. Peak hour at 9-10am. - Thoughts: Blueberry cream cheese French toast was fresh and creamy! We also ordered a croissant sandwich with corned beef which was well-balanced. The service was fast and the waiters were nice. He asked us if we were sharing and offered to cut the sandwich in half on two plates. We didn't wait that long at 11:30 am on Wednesday (15-20 mins?) and the line moved fast. The only downside was that the portion was quite small.

The staff was really friendly. I’m not a huge fan of breakfast foods so this was just ok to me, but I could tell it was high quality service and food nonetheless. Be warned, this place is a popular diner so the chances of having to wait 30-60 min isn’t rare; however, they got us seated quickly and I can respect the good service!

This is the best breakfast that i had while vacationing in O’ahu. The food is tasty, and the portions are big. The servers are also really nice. Although the wait might seem like it will be long, it is actually a pleasant 30-minute wait. I came at around 11:30. If you’re looking for a great breakfast spot, this is it!

We got there before 8:00 and there were lots of tables available.More and more people were coming when we were enjoying our breakfast. The omelet and regular breakfast plate are great, but they cannot be compared with the blueberry and cream cheese stuffed French Toast! Only one bite will make you feel at heaven!

Our first breakfast after arriving the day before. My sister has been wanting to come here, and finally we got the chance. Great place and food is well worth coming here to eat. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Definitely come back for more.

Food was delicious! My sister and I like to share a sweet and a savory, I got the Pesto Chicken omelette and she got the stuffed banana french toast. It was busy but the wait to get in and to eat was short. The staff was friendly, they even filled up my personal water bottle for me.

Amazing service, good pricing, and quality food. It’s laid back as well. I was impressed that the servers really went the extra mile - gave my daughters seashells and brought small toys for them to play with etc. Food was also delicious. They have parking on site. Would definitely come back!

Always love when we can get over to Sweet E's for brekkie! I had my usual Traditional Eggs Benedict with hash browns. My husband has his Epic Burrito with link sausage and bacon, and a side of Blueberry French Toast. Water was promptly refilled before our glasses were emptied. Food arrived promptly, yet we never felt rushed.

This place was amazing. Food was delicious with generous portion sizes. My wife got the Extreme Mess and I went with the Hawaiian omelette. We also shared a French Toast. Staff was very friendly and checked up on us frequently. Highly recommend

We LOVE Sweet E’s! It’s casual and laid back and perfect for a quick brunch! Their coffee is good and they even sent us with coffees to-go without us asking! The food was so good too. We got the blueberry stuffed French toast and the Kahlua pork Benedict and they were both so good! The servers all worked together so well and they were great. We can’t wait to come back!

Family diner. Waited about 30 minutes in a hot parking lot to get in, but we were greeted by big glasses of ice water. The bread in the French toast made for possibly the best french toast I’ve ever had. Fair pricing. Close to leonard’s bakery, too.

FOOD IS EXCELLENT. I rated 4 stars because it was a little warm in there. Coffee is definitely good. It's bold and it gets served hot.👍🏽 The star of the show was the waffle. I can honestly say I haven't tried a better tasting waffle anywhere. If you get a chance to come to Hawaii you absolutely have to make this one of your stops.

Outstanding everything, best customer service everything runs so smoothly. The food is the best!! We visited for a week and went for breakfast everyday except once which was a huge mistake! I will tell all of my friends who visit the island to stop at Sweet E’s

I got the Hawaiian omelette which comes with Spam and Portuguese sausage. They were good but nothing magnificent. Their French toast were good however.
