We love stopping by this gorgeous mature and lush garden everytime we are on the island of Oahu. It's definitely nostalgic for my husband and I, considering we first came here many years ago on our honeymoon. Views of Diamond Head surround the area. If you have been to Oahu, and not yet strolled through here, you are truly missing out. The garden even smells like paradise. Flowers and birds everywhere; even a wild chicken here and there too, alongside some of the most fascinating trees you will lay eyes on. Seriously, take some time out of your stay on this beautiful island, and go here. Literally smell the flowers along the way, and take in the clean fresh air. This garden never disappoints. 🌺

A rustic but still beautiful green space in the edge of the beach area. Local natural settings just comfortable to walk and sit and think. One of the many free space areas to enjoy.

Pretty small. The plants didn't look super healthy. Also there was someone there in a full hazmat suit spraying pesticides so we didn't stay long. It was quiet though and we were the only ones there (besides the hazmat suit person).

I found the Garden rather unique. It showcased indigenous plants and flowers in a semi-formal fashion. While examining the Garden I realized that in was the only visitor. It's definitely off the main tourist course.

Queen Kapiʻolani Garden is a wonderful tropical garden near the zoo in Honolulu. The garden is well maintained with easy walking paths. There are many plants, shrubs, trees, and flowers to see. On this visit, we spotted an Egret, and it was not shy. It seemed to follow us along our visit as though it were an old feathered friend. Do yourself a favor and check out Queen Kapiʻolani Garden; visit for free, and you will not be disappointed! If you find my review helpful, please click the thumbs-up 👍icon! Thank you!

This garden marks the start of a 1/4 mile Banyan Tree Tunnel beautiful walk or drive through dappled rays of Sun light through the limbs and trees always in motion and stunning backdrop of Hawaii Nei

Beautiful plants with species name plates, some in bloom! The wild Chickens, some with babies and other birds were a delight. A bit of gardening work needed, I wonder who tends to these garden beds?

Most of the plants were over grown, pathway was uneven, none of the plants were labeled. The gardens could do with a good cleanup of under brush, leaves and some revitalization of the existing plants and this would be a lovely place.

It’s a vintage lil thang for sure ! Rock garden beds and old Hawaiian hibiscus Be careful tho Crazy violent homeless shelter here occasionally along here and it’s isolated at times Be cautious But great views of Diamond head , pathways of grass are from the Victorian times I’d say it’s as close to a Victorian garden as I’ll ever be Perfect I can handle the riff raff

Open every day for free. This is a short stroll which will take you about 20 mins of slow pace walking. It is located within a stone's throw of Honolulu Zoo and Waikiki Beach. The palm trees and indigenous flowers adds a nice touch to the park scenery. Beautiful views of the diamond head are in the background. It has a path to run on route to Waikiki beach 🏃🏾🏃‍♀️🏃🏿‍♂️💨, honolulu zoo, or Waikiki shops. Foot traffic is light in the morning but picks up in the afternoon, especially on weekends or holidays.

So, so small. Just a strip of whatever by the side of the road. The trees, plants etc., are just the stuff you see everywhere along streets. There was a few benches. Really, 5 minutes and you are ready to go. I didn't even bother to take a pic. Meh...

A pocket park at the busy intersection of Monsarrat Avenue and Paki Avenue, it’s easy to miss. It’s a city managed garden that ranges from “nice” to weed-infested depending on the last community service project meant to liven up the place. There is some parking and a picnic table or two. If you’re looking for a quick spot to eat a plate lunch, this will do.

The garden was very peaceful however I had to pick up someone's else's garbage they left behind near the gazebo I'll bet it was a crazy homeless person.

"Queen Kapiolane botanical gardens is more of a collection of specimens than a garden. Sadly the plants aren't even labeled. It doesn't do the namesake justice".- Andrew

Queen Kapiolani Garden, Diamond Head, Oahu Hawaii Nice small garden near Diamond Head Grille were you can eat your takeaway plate lunch. Looked a little neglected this time. #QueenKapiolaniGarden

It's kind of gross... there's Definitely better parks on island to explore.

It's a nice little garden, with a great view of Diamond Head in the back drop. Nothing was in bloom when I was here today, and it was a little smaller than I had expected, but is still a nice little place to kind of relax.

Not really a garden, at least I wouldn't call it one. Just a bunch of plants put together. It's not kept up and there are so many wild chickens/roosters. I went with my mom and we both expected more.

Not worth seeing! Very small and unkempt. Every hotel complex looks nicer. Even the street vegetation looks more impressive.
