My wife and I were first time scuba divers and we had a great time. The instructors were very patient and chill, and emphasized safety and having a good time. We were in a group of 5 total and had 2 instructors, so we felt very safe. They teach you everything you need to know, from how to use the gear, how to recover your breather if you lose it, as well as hand signals to communicate how you're doing under water. Our experience was about an hour total, from gearing up to the safety brief to time underwater. The experience definitely changed my relationship with water, and am looking forward to more scuba experiences in the future!

Vanessa was a great instructor. This was a perfect dive opportunity. I’m already certified but haven’t dove in too long. This let me get used of being back in the water and I got to practice skills and gear before my next day 3 tank dive. Again Vanessa was concise and patent with new divers and I’ll be back with my kids for them to take this intro to diving.

Zola and Kyle were freaking awesome. Very patient and informative. If you don’t know how to swim, no problem. I suck at breathing and today made me a lot better. I had even backed out of going under but felt comfortable enough to do it when my turn came. Highly recommend doing the dive. They have storage you can put your personal items in as well.

Excellent experience! They really take your time and baby steps to get comfortable before going on the tour in the water. Unfortunately, I was not fully comfortable going 12-15 feet under water and decided to exit. However, they are very gracious and respectful. I still appreciated the opportunity to get the whole gear on and go into the water. Still be very encouraged to book with them and go on the tour. You won’t be disappointed and will have a lot of fun! :)

My best friend and I had such a great time! Nick was such a sweet heart, very patient, awesome tour guide and kind a helicopter dad :) I had hurt my leg the day prior but I was fine just a bit of a swollen toe that bothered me a few times during the event. He kept his eye on me the entire time, but I was fine :) DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYONE! Great for first timers like myself! We will definitely be coming back!

If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would! They were the best decision I made for this trip! Very patient (Jake and Nick)…they really make sure you master all basic skills before you go out. They are always there and very alert to your needs. The instructors were absolutely fantastic. Coolest thing I’ve ever done. -close to hotels in Waikiki (walking distance) -awesome/patient instructors (I was slower at figuring out certain skills so one instructor stayed behind with me and the other instructors took everyone else out…we then caught up to the group) -Safety is big with them and they really make sure you’re doing well every moment you’re under -They have a go pro and shoot pictures and videos of you and the group for free -They also send you text reminders the day before with very detailed directions to the location Do not hesitate to do this! They were awesome!

Zola was clear, calm and concise with his teaching. We had a small group of 3 people which I feel was great for all the questions we had. We had a few moments of panic since we were all new at scuba diving, but at the end of the dive we all wanted to continue. A fantastic first time experience and I would love to do this again with this instructor on a deeper dive 🤙🏽

Kyle and Todd were absolutely amazing!! My husband has never swam day in his life, but was determined to try scuba diving. Their patience and kindness was next to none. My husband and I had an experience of a lifetime❤️🎊

My son and I had a great experience with Instructor Scott today learning the basics of SCUBA as we got ready for our shore dive into Magic Island Lagoon. It was a nice quite place so your not getting beat up by the surf. Scott is really good at explaining the techniques and equipment to make sure we had a safe and fun experience. If your in town, go check them out. Plenty of parking to boot.

We tried beginner scuba diving oprion, and it was an amazing first-time experience. Ideal for beginners without prior experience. If you've done scuba diving before and feel confident, consider the advanced option—this one goes down to 12 feet.

Alex, Faith, and Mike are great. Very much on top of their game and have clearly dealt with novice divers. Definitely get there 30 minutes early to maximize the time in the water. Don’t be the one that shows up late and holds the group up. Expect to be heading back to the beach about an hour after you’re scheduled time (I.e if your reservation was for noon, you’ll be done shortly after 1). Videos that are sent are great. Definitely a good way to remember the experience. Highly encourage, and don’t forget to bring tip money!!!

Kyle and Zola were awesome, they made 2 of our non certified boys feel comfortable and have a great time. Water was a bit murky but they can't control the weather. Over all they are great instructors and I highly recommend this company. Videos also come with this tour.

We had a great first time snorkelling with our instructor Liz! She was friendly and knowledgeable and made sure we were comfortable. We were able to see lots of fish and learn about some of them too. Perfect for a beginner who needs a bit of help getting into snorkelling! :)

Nice experience for first timers!! Kyle, Zola, Todd… the best instructors so far. They explained carefully all the instructions, I always ask lots of questions and people gets annoyed. They could handle me, they can handle anyone. I feel confident enough to recommend them.

Our scuba diving experience with Max and Addison were very kind and gentlemen, very great instructors. Instructions are very clear and detailed. Our under water experience was amazing! Seeing the corals and lots of fish. We definitely recommend them for beginners like us. 🤙🏼

Best place to do snorkeling and scuba diving tours in town! Zola is awesome. This was my first time, and I’m not a good swimmer, but he is a very good instructor and helped me to relax and have fun. We saw lots of fish and creatures! Would highly recommend.

I highly recommend this experience! Snorkeling in Magic Lagoon, seeing many fish and sea urchins was wonderful. Definitely a worthwhile experience. Our guide, Liz, was amazing. She was very careful to make sure we were all safe and having fun.

Zola was so very helpful, he was very thorough and explained the instructions very well. He took tons of pictures and videos of everyone to capture the moments. he was very bubbly and enthusiastic and didn’t leave anyone out! I 100% recommend Zola!

This was incredible! It is a perfect session for beginners. Our guide Zola was wonderful, he took the time to make sure we all understood the protocols and felt safe. I ended up panicking early on, but Zola was able to support me through it and I was able to dive down to the reef!

Vanessa was our scuba instructor while in Hawaii. She was absolutely amazing and extremely informative. She pointed out all safety issues and explained how to quickly resolve any issues or concerns my wife or I could possibly have. No issues or concerns occurred. She also pointed out all the beautiful corals and sea life. When in Hawaii go to Try Scuba and definitely request Vanessa!

Every trip to Oahu I’ve always wanted to try scuba diving and finally got the chance to. Try scuba diving is perfect for beginners even though I’m a fish in the water and love to snorkel scuba diving caused a bit of anxiety having an air tank strapped to your back and breathing under water took a bit to get used to I almost tapped out but our instructor Vanessa was absolutely amazing she was extremely patient and empathetic and was able to help calm my anxiety which made me comfortable and gave me the confidence I needed to enjoy my scuba diving experience I will definitely reserve a spot again with try scuba diving.

Was visiting Hawaii with my boyfriend and his family and had an amazing experience seeing the reef! Our scuba guide, Zola, was absolutely incredible! He helped us during the entire dive and was very attentive. I felt safe and had lots of fun! Wish I could do it again right now!
