One of a few Kuan Yin temples on the Oahu island. Beautiful design and you definitely will feel the peaceful mind here. Lotus flowers in the yard is always beautiful. Parking usually on street only. Sometimes during special events, you can park at loo belongs to garden next door for $3 flat rate.

Very peaceful and well kept. Only problem is that it is not where Google says it is. Instead search for Foster Botanic Gardens and you'll find it next door.

Very nice and peaceful. They don't allow a lot visitors. Be very respectful towards the people at the temple. Maybe a good place to meditate if your a spiritual person like me.

A peaceful Buddhist site to visit and meditate. Not busy. You’ll probably have the place to yourself when you visit. Note the hours open.

It is a lovely Temple, the persons taking care of the temple were very kind and answered all my questions. The Temple is very well taken care off, has gardens arround it. It is a wonderful place to meditate and honor our ancestors. The have some interesting special events. The Red Trolley stops right there (stop #8) next to the Botanical Gardens.

Nice place to visit while on a trip to Honolulu’s Chinatown. They were welcoming during our visit to pay respects. It has been long time since I have been back to visit but I am glad not much has changed since my grandfather used to bring me along during his visits. I plan on returning during future visits.
