👍👍 There is no true good swings on Oahufor children to get a rush from. This park has swings at least... The city and county workers have fixed all the busted up swing situations. The setting is fabulous. People often mention swings, parking,

My family always enjoys visiting Kamanele Park, although we call it Parakeet Park since so many of the green birds hang out there. This is one of the few public parks around that has swings. If you're into plants and nature in general, there is a lot to be studied here. The parking can be a challenge at certain times , since Mid Pacific Institute is located at the end of the street, and street parking (the only parking available) is prohibited when students are going to school and being dismissed. That's only a short period of time, though. At the time that this review was written , we had visited Kamanele earlier in the day. We found that one of the swings was broken and a plank from one of the benched was broken as well. Hopefully those can be repaired soon. Also, perhaps something can be done about the ground under the swings. It gets so muddy, slippery, and dangerous for the children when wet. Generally speaking, this is a great park!

So beautiful and serene!! Decent bathrooms. Great swings for the kids. Huge trees for awesome shade with a gentle breeze

Love that it has real swings for the kids to use. Park has a nice ambiance just wasn't prepared with bug spray. I got several mosquito bites. It was muddy under the swings so next time will be better prepared for that too...even though it has been rainy I just didn't think about it...which in my mind is no deterant from the park. Still enjoyed our visit.

Nice shaded green space. Has swings,. bathrooms, benches and tables. The day we went it was very muddy but my kids had a blast splashing in the mud. No parking except in the neighborhood.

There is no drinking fountain or water faucet except in the bathroom. The floors are filthy and the toilets are usually a mess. This is a place where dirty homeless people sleep in the bushes and they can creep up out from behind the bathrooms.

Only playground we've found on Oahu that still has bucket swings for the little ones. Four regular swings also, plus climbing bars, lots of shade, and parrots in the trees. Great place to bring the kids.

Anyone know if there's parking? I got dropped off in the area so I wasn't sure if there was parking nor do I remember seeing any.

A swing/picnic park. There’re tables and benches here. Two baby swings and kids swings with different highs. Just don’t have any slides 🛝. A restroom for convenience too.

Two toddler swing and the giant trees are great features, but parking spot is very limited and can be challenging because it shares a narrow road with mid pac school.
