I was unsure weather to book this because i have picky eaters. The options to customize for them isn't there so be aware. That being said the staff was great as well as the entertainment. The food was lacking in my opinion but the drinks were great. The only reason i give 3 stars is because of the "bugs" that emerged after dinner. Despite all that we still had a great time. The views of the shore were some of the best we have seen yet.

Food was awesome! They had lobster, steak and an entire spread for the course. Salad was really good too. The lobster comes out whole so ask for help if you don’t know how to crack it! The dessert and great too! The dancing was beautiful and luau style. Definitely go if you get the chance!

I am not sure if this was our server's first time, but she definitely struggled. It took a good 20-30 minutes just to get water for the table. They really need to leave a carafe of water on the table or have 1-2 people just filling up glasses of water. We asked her for other drinks throughout the night to use up our drink tickets which also took a long time. She kept forgetting things and had to come back. The food was okay, but it would have been nice to have a kid's meal with PB&J or something. The steak was extremely rare/undercooked so I couldn't eat it. I'm not a lobster fan so I did not eat that either. The salad was already made and on a plate when we walked on the boat. I wasn't sure if it was for show or to eat, but I am not a fan of warm lettuce so I didn't eat that either. The drinks were good (when we eventually got them). The dessert was different, but pleasant. This should go without saying, but the windows were open to allow the nice ocean breeze to pass through so just make sure you have your things secured! There were name tags and paper flying everywhere! The entertainment was the highlight of the whole thing. The Friday night fireworks were a nice bonus! I wouldn't do this again with this company, but I would look for another company to try out.

My husband and I got the 3 Star Cruise and we had a fantastic time! We got there early so we were in a perfect spot for the pre-cruise show. It was very good and then the boarding and seating process was smooth. We paid a little extra for a celebration package that came with a commemorative photo and a guaranteed window seat. I'm so glad we did it, because the view was amazing. I believe we got 2 premium drink tickets per person because of it being the 3 Star but it could have been because of the celebration package. The drinks were on point! My husband got a mai tai and a cabernet. The wine was a little dry but thats just the type of wine. The Mai Tai was delicious and strong. I had 2 strawberry daiquiri s and they were the best I've ever had. The perfect balance between flavor and alcohol. All the food was amazing and came out at the perfect times. Before desert we went up to the observation deck for a gorgeous view of Diamond head and a nice breeze. We had our dessert during the Aloha Anniversary show of the night. It was so good I kept.forgetting to eat my food because the dancers were captivating. There was also a jazz show earlier in the night that was beautiful and they were so talented. As were the musicians that provided most of the entertainment through the night. I highly recommend if you're looking for a good time with great food and a beautiful and peaceful view.

We went all out and did the 5 star trip. If you drink pay for the transportation service its not that much more and you don't have to worry about driving or parking. Upon arrival the charm gets turned on. Your greeted at the boat and when you walk on your put in an elevator up to the top. From their your greeted by 1 of the 2 captains and then given a meet and greet and photo op. You get a drink and a few appetizers to choose from then you are escorted to you table. It's a 7 course meal. Most of it is good but some items are too taste. Your given 6 drink coupons but watch out. Non- alcoholic counts and well as softdrinks. Entertainment is also good. Motion of the boat is almost unnoticeable unless your looking at a reference point. Time flies but they will serve drinks until you walk off. They depart from the lowest level first then towards the top so you can still drink while docked. Amazing trip.

Great service, great food, great experience. Had a wonderful time with my family here. Complimentary Mai Tai was made perfectly every time, crab legs were soft and juicy, steak was cooked well done, and grilled chicken was a little dry. Live performance was great and specifically one of the male dancers had so much energy he was dancing at 110%. Definitely one of the places you should experience when visiting Hawaii.

Our experience on the Star of Honolulu Sunset Cruise was nothing short of amazing. The staff on board were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed from the moment we stepped on the ship. However, what truly stood out was The Mai Tais they offered were, without a doubt, the best I’ve had on the entire island – absolutely delicious! But the highlight of this cruise is undoubtedly the breathtaking sunset views you get to witness from the ship. It’s a mesmerizing experience that adds a magical touch to your evening. The sunset photos we captured were nothing short of breathtaking, and the ability to take them from different vantage points on the ship added to the beauty of it all. You have the freedom to explore and move around the various decks, ensuring you can capture the sunset from various angles. Aside from the sunset, there are several other things to observe throughout the cruise, from the moment you arrive at the dock to the moment you disembark. It’s a full sensory experience that immerses you in the beauty and serenity of the ocean. When it comes to dining, there are several options to choose from, whether you prefer a buffet-style meal, a middle-tier offering, or a multi-course culinary experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Oahu. It’s an unforgettable journey, and I’ll certainly make it a point to attend again if I ever find myself in Oahu.

We are a party of 8 people 5 adult and 3 kids.We did the sunset dinner deluxe celebration package. Which includes 4 photos. Our waiter Angelo was very accommodating. We upgrade to a window seating for an extra $35 a person. I would not recommend paying the extra money. But that me. The view is as good from anywhere on the 3rd level. The lobster is a bit of work, but everyone enjoyed it. The steak was cooked to my liking. Medium Rear. The drinks are delicious . The dessert was not that tasty. The show was great. The 2 hrs went by very quickly. On Friday night it 3 hours because of the Fire work by the Hilton Hotel.

This was me and my husband's first dinner cruise. Pros: The staff was delightful and helpful. The views were wonderful and we were lucky to have a whale swim by and say hello. We were on the middle level. Now for the cons: I thought our table seating was uncomfortably close. There was barely elbow room between the 2 person tables. The food was alright, not a huge variety but good for the price. The performance was lacking, the main performer had a look on her face like she hated her job and the audience watching her. The fireworks were great but I really wish they would provide more seating throughout the ship. There was only a handful of chairs on the top level that were taken right away. I wouldn't do this cruise again but I am happy that we tried it! Also I didn't realize a big ship would rock so much but it did! We saw quite a few people with sea sickness and it made me super dizzy walking around. I'm not a germaphobe but something about the rails on the ship really grossed me out. They felt super dirty to me and I had to hold them to not fall over. Please keep in mind that I am a hard person to please and I have no doubt that most people would enjoy this cruise more than I did.

We highly recommend the luxury 5 star sunset cruise. Initially, we thought about only doing the deluxe cruise but the luxury cruise exceeded our expectations. You will be sitting on the top floor of the cruise in a more private and intimate setting compared to the other dinner options. You will have the opportunity to try so many dishes including lobster, caviar, beef Wellington, etc. Our night was full of beautiful memories with live jazz, singers and outstanding sunset views of Waikiki beach.

Great experience! Great staff and entertainment. Liam, our server, was very attentive. The only con was that our meat was too pink for our liking, couldn't eat it. Definitely recommend a date night or family event with older kids. I'm not sure if those under 10 would enjoy 3 hrs on a boat.

Highly Recommend! We ordered the Lobster Steak Dinner for my Mother’s final dinner on her Hawaiian stay and it was Amazing! We were so excited we forgot to take the food out of the boxes! The density of the lobster is perfect and the Quality of the meat is excellent. It’s a Four course meal (mango dessert included) so you are very full and Happy! There is also a QR code that sends you to their own Hula show that you can watch online while you eat. It felt like you are front stage at a luau eating a four course lobster steak meal! It’s a very intimate and flavorful dinner!l—and might cost double in or at a restaurant. Five Stars!

The whale watching was fun and the ship was nice. However the food was awful. They gave us a bagel that wasn't even toasted and it was salty. I would say it's worth going but not getting any snacks.

Don't want to burst the bubble of anyone who might enjoy this cruise by looking past the tacky decor and sarcastic attitudes of the servers and performers, but it seems more important to warn people who would not wish to waste their money. Where to start? Poor quality food gave us food poisoning. Covid precautions were nonexistent. While eating, a dancer’s attire came into contact with me several times, yet customer service assured me performers stayed a full 6-10 feet away from diners and that there was no reason to issue a refund. I was taking a friend for her birthday and unfortunately this experience pretty much gave us the opposite of what both her and I wanted. This tourist trap is to be avoided.

Beautiful dinner cruise. Music and entertainment was amazing. Just be prepared if you want to purchase more drinks etc to bring cash because you get your own server.

What an absolute abomination. This joke of a company should be embarrassed. I paid almost $400 for a 3rd tier out of 4 sunset dinner cruise and fireworks show just to be stashed in a corner of the dirty boat against dirty windows we couldn’t see well out of and for the boat to leave the port 17 minutes before sunset. Then they served dinner during sunset. The actors were literally changing their costumes 10 feet away from us in a hallway. Which unfortunately was the best view of them we had because we were stowed away in the corner against a bulkhead like a 4-year old who disobeyed his parents. I’ve paid $65 each for a sunset dinner cruise at home, where they actually allow you to enjoy the sunset and let you see a nice show too- what a concept! The $30 professional photo we paid for was taken at our table (not with you know… THE SUNSET in the background!!!) which we could have done by ourselves. More? Sure I’ll add more… the windows to see outside of the boat were FILTHY. I mean you could barely see out of them. It looked like the previously mentioned 4-year old “cleaned” them. How about those fireworks!! Well let me tell ya… if you weren’t suggested to do so by your waiter to go outside and wait 35 minutes prior to the fireworks starting, then you would be unable to actually see them because everybody had to be on one side of the boat and man let me tell you how great of a feeling it is to have 50 people you’ve never seen before trying to push you and walk over you just to see a 5 minute fireworks show. Yes, 5 whopping minutes. WOW. The show itself was good (I think) That said, the other decks who paid less actually had more and longer and better entertainment. Hell- they were still performing for them while we were off the boat and on the way to the buses. I could go on but I’ll just stop here. The only positive thing I have to say is that our waiter Danny was absolutely outstanding! What an outgoing, caring and hard working gentleman he is… kudos to Danny!!! So as a recap, here is what you get for your $368.40: dirty boat, dirty windows, no fresh air, a very short show you can’t see, a sunset you are forced to miss or go see while your dinner gets cold, a dinner in Hawaii that is by no means Hawaiian (regular old mainland steak, lobster or chicken, and mashed potatoes), a fireworks show that you get piled on top of to watch, and a completely disorganized exodus from the boat that had everybody standing on top of each other at the doors getting hit and sweaty like the basement in a college frat while you get even more angered because the people on the other decks who paid less are still enjoying fresh air and a live show they are able to see. 10/10 would not recommend!

Good sunset trip from Honolulu harbor to Waikiki, the weather eased enough that we had a stunning sunset. There was a private party on half of our deck which was the only real detractor, they were lod, and got progressively louder as the trip went on. We took the buffet option, which was good quality and quantity. Would recommend for visitors who want a different view of Waikiki and Honolulu.

The boarding process here was smooth and there really wasn't a bad view in the house. The food was good and the dancers were outstanding. Our only issue was with the bar, when you ordered extra drinks at your table, you had to prepay for them, and they took a considerable amount of time to get to the table. Once the beers got there they were warm. We were told that part of the delay was that they ran out of clean beer glasses and had to take time to wash the dirty ones. Then, it took a good 45 minutes to get our credit card back from the prepayment for the drinks, it was an excessive amount of time to wait, and prevented us from seeing more of the views on the boat.

This was short and tp the point dinner cruise. As soon as we boarded, we got seated at our table where salad and bread was waiting. They served our main course soon after, before the boat even departed so we were eating while boat is rocking in at the dock. Food was actually better then expected and the steak was tender and the crab was fun Welcome Mai Tai drink was delicious and the show was fun and entertaining. We did go up to the top deck for great views of the island. Back on shore after about 2 hrs. Just perfect

This was a nice experience. The food tasted great and was well prepared. They did a great job dealing with my food allergy and were pleasant throughout. The entertainment was nice and the fireworks display was a good finish to the night. Also, the views from the ship were breathtaking.

The boat on the inside could stand for some updating (thanks HGTV for ruining us during Covid apocalypse) but the VIEWS! The ENTERTAINMENT! The EXPERIENCE!!! It was great!! There is a host who is playing music, then three acts. You can move about the vessel. We selected the celebration package for a window seat (all the views on the boat are good Id argue), cake, and picture. Great all around. They were very organized and professional. At the end of the day, I have zero regrets and am happy with amount spent.

I went on a three star sunset cruise. Regarding the dress code... I wore a jacket and slacks, but some of the Japanese people around me were wearing denim pants and T-shirts. If it's up to three stars, you may not need to worry too much. Regarding cooking... Cheese and fruit are available as appetizers. There is also champagne as a welcome drink. Then salad, lobster, steak, and dessert are served. The staff will give you a lecture on how to eat lobster, There was no lecture at my place. Regarding other things... It probably depends on the weather, but the rocking of the ship didn't bother me. However, my wife is sensitive to shaking, so she looked sick the whole time. If you are prone to seasickness, it is better to take seasickness medicine. Even if you don't have one, you can get ginger pills and ginger ale. It would be a good idea to tell the staff about your seasickness and get one. There will also be entertainment such as dancing and singing, so I think it will be a lot of fun.
