Perfect. Plenty of room. Ocean patio every morning for coffee. Lounge chairs in step down lawn. Or a step down to water. Everything seemed well designed. Kitchen, storage. Placing chairs for beach was a surprise. Actual area was very friendly neighborhood. Security walked by one night. Every day I saw someone cleaning basement, patio and other areas. Very nice staff Not the Honolulu craziness. Could walk there but not our style Parking there was a scare for me cause it was straight down under facility. But secure! Would love to come back . Live in northern NY and tell people that Hawaii really is affordable where we stayed here.

Could you some updating. Fiber under bed mattress coming off in large chunks and blackening rug. Front door needs attention. Difficult to ensure it is closed. Drawer in bureau coming detached as well as various laminate pieces in kitchen area. Smaller glasses would be a nice addition. Brown sofa is a real eye sore. View is fabulous

I have stayed in a few condo's at the Diamond Head Beach and have enjoyed all of them, #1203 was clean, comfortable and the view's are amazing. I hope to return many times when possible. My only thoughts are maybe leave more than 1 small soap and we were looking forward to having the slider doors open, but unfortunetly they were locked which made us use the air conditioner more. Definitely 5 star!

The unit looks good in the pictures. However, once we got there, we found that the unit was very lacking in maintenance. The tile in the bathroom area needs a good scrubbing. There were no screens on the windows or the sliding glass door. So we werenโ€™t able to really enjoy the Tradewind weather. Also thereโ€™s a large gap on the bottom of the front door and on the side of the door. Therefore the door didnโ€™t seal well and blew in the wind, making it sound like someone was trying to get into the room all the time.

Check in process was simple and easy. Loved not having to rely on a card to get into room, so the inputting a code was very convenient. The the studio itself was clean and had everything that you would need. Very homey feeling, the balcony was an essential for enjoying the views and outdoors. Would stay again.

Currently staying here and I am BLOWN AWAY. Very easy booking via Mark. Simple process. Close enough to the action but far enough away for tranquility. All privately owned but ours should be 4 stars. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend!

We always love our stay DHBH #1005. One bit of feedback would be that the mattress on the Diamond Head side of room be replaced and a topper put on like the the other bed. Until next time, mahalo and a hui hou๐ŸŒบ

The perfect location for the perfect vacation. This condo was very well equipped with everything you need for staying at the Gold Coast. Wake up early and sit on the deck having your coffee, which faces the ocean, was the perfect beginning of you day.

I love staying at Diamond Head Beach Hotel. I have stayed many times and it is a favorite spot. Even with difficult off premises parking. Our units were pretty clean but needed a new couch. It's time! Very difficult communicating with property manager clearly. Limited communication as kills or time. Rarely anyone at the reception desk. Otherwise, I had a fabulous time. Mahalo!!

We loved the feeling of the manager and owner; the care in their presentation; in their responsive correspondence; and in the beauty of the one bedroom king /separate bedroom/ full kitchen unit "603." The unit was spacious, gorgeous, and the bed was a dream. The only issue we had was the radiation exposure--even with unplugging the wireless in the unit during our stay. By our emf measuring devices, EMF showed in the very high red zone with RF radio frequencies impacts from the other units. Dirty electricity and magnetic fields were fine. We do take our EMF mitigation devices with us just in case for the bedroom.. This worked, but we didn't use them in the living room where the radiation was in the most extreme, varied and definitely very intense. We were mostly out of the unit which was fine for a couple of nights stay. This radiation issue is not unusual for hotels since the advent of wireless is promoted everywhere. With Honolulu's focus on becoming a smart city, we will have to do more personal mitigation to stay healthy and comfortable in our buildings as well as will need to consider adapting our buildings, which Certified Building Biologists can help. Being in and near the ocean is a saving grace. Diamond Head, DHBH and the Gold Coast has been our anniversary go-to for years.

I have been staying in the complex for over 10 years. It's the best area on the island to enjoy peace and quiet, have beautiful views and still walk into Waikiki. The accommodations in each unit are different. The unit we stayed was 201- Was nice and big, super clean and has a Lanai with an amazing view of the ocean. Can sit and eat the sunrise or the sunset.

This place is owned by multiple people, no front desk, no clean towels, no fresh toiletries, no sheets/pillows for pull out sofa. One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. Extremely disappointed. Do not stay here!

We stayed in Penthouse Studio #5. It was a great location and had wonderful views. My wife and I enjoyed the ocean and beach.

The location and view were excellent! We were in unit 801, and while we did enjoy our stay, this condo could use some updates. The toilet was obviously old and leaking internally and the seat was about to fall off. It only has two small window air conditioners...the one in the bedroom does a good job, but the one in the primary space is just too small to keep it comfortable on a sunny day... even with the blinds closed. We really expected a little more for the money we paid.

Amazing place to stay with a great room! There was someone at the front gate when we arrived, but never saw anyone in the "lobby". I think most of the rooms are owned or permanently rented. We had a room on the top penthouse level that was perfect! Wishing we had stayed at this spot the whole trip! Photos are from our balcony!

One of my favorite hotels, close to everything, right on the water with stunning views of Diamond head, Waikiki and the surf

View is good! Condo only has AC in living room, making loud noises. Service is terrible. Checkin process was not smooth, key fob was not in the proper locker, wait on the phone for 30 mins to speak w a live person, but is just taking messages only, wait another 15 mins to have someone show up. Parking spot is difficult to get into. Never receive any apologies via email or phone call for this. Very disappointed with their service. Will not rent from them again.

Unit 1202 needs some love. The views were spectacular, but the windows were so dirty that it was distracting. Both sofas need to be cleaned, there were mismatched lightbulbs in the bathroom, and the bed was very uncomfortable. We made the best of things, but overall it seemed poorly maintained. As often happens the photos are misleading, probably from several years ago.

The place is beautiful and the view cannot be beat. Best view in all of Waikiki! The kitchen is fully stocked including spices. We loved how both sides open up to the outside with wide open doorways and all of the fun ocean toys provided. The only downfall is that you can tell someone has smoked in the unit. It was cheaper to park on the street than pay for the provided parking so was a blessing in disguise that no parking was available through management.

I've been staying at the Diamond Head Beach Hotel every time I come to Honolulu for at least 6 yrs. Love the location, you will love sitting in lounge chairs on the lawn watching and listening to the ocean. The views are spectacular. Mark and David who I go through to rent a condo, have been great. Don't expect a fancy hotel, what you get there is a special place that I think same people come back to year after year. It's very relaxing, actually very quiet. Can't wait to go back.

Amazing place to stay within walking distance of Waikiki beach and Diamond Head Crater hike and plenty of shopping and dining option, yet it felt quiet and secluded enough for rest at the end of a long day of beach or whatever.

๐Ÿ˜ The rooms no longer have dishes or cutlery, we can buy our own from the MCX across the street.... Not exactly ideal considering the long stays. The free breakfast is passable, not sure why so many reviews rave about it. It is fine, but again, all disposable dishes and cutlery, which feels so wastefu...

๐Ÿ˜ I stayed in 2019, apparently before the remodel and loved it. Beautiful and recommend highly. However, a word of great caution.
