All the food we got at our table was great. I had the prime rib. Others at the table had ravioli, fish, and lobster. Tasting the other's food have to say that it all was delicious. This place you have to reserve way ahead of time. Mike about a week or more, depending on the season . We got on a waiting list and it was 3 hours, so be prepared on that end. Service was fast and did a good job even though very packed. The view out the back side towards the beach are great. Would recommend evening meal the sunset was beautiful with sail boats in background. We had the ice-cream Pie for dessert. The Hula. Huge size it was enough to share for sure. Cocktails were all good too. Definitely a great place to eat when in this area.

Definitely a popular place and now we know why! Lunch buffet had so many options.. I'm gluten free, so I went for the Cajun Fish Tacos in a lettuce wrap instead of the buffet. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. For sure Duke's is family friendly - highly recommend for that. And the drinks are delicious - I had the Lava Flow (pictured), and my daughter had the Zero Proof Mango Smoothie. The service was outstanding - attentive and patient. My husband went on a journey to find a parking space, and our servers never once made us feel pressured to hurry up or rush. 2 final tips: definitely make a reservation and if you need parking, plan for an extra 20-30 minutes. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and would strongly recommend!!!

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting a whole lot from this establishment because it was on the beachfront and so I didn’t know if the food would be good as the view here… But both were wonderful. Their cocktails were amazing as well. I had the Endless Summer cocktail and it was very tasty. The food was really good as well. My partner had the ribs with chicken (forget the name of the dish) and it was really good. I had the mango bbq bacon burger. Also good. Our waiter was very professional and nice as well. Overall, a pleasurable experience and I would highly recommend.

Reservations for dinner are hard to get. We lucked out on getting lunch reservations. I will forever be dreaming of their nachos! Our waiter was top notch. His drink recommendation was spot on and he went above and beyond for a birthday celebration. Very thankful to your staff for the great service and outstanding food. We hope to come back again!

Great selection of food and drinks. Very nice location, watching the sunset on the patio is a great experience. I had the Duke's cheeseburger and fries. It was good. I also tried the Mango BBQ bacon burger, I liked that one better. Also, you cannot leave without having the Hula Pie. It is one of the best desserts I've had.

Me and my wife went to Hawaii for our honeymoon. Dukes gave us the best seat in the house with an incredible view. But the atmosphere is incredible, I've never eaten at a restaurant like this before. Make sure to make your reservations as early as you possibly can, this place is a gem. 11/10 will definitely go back at least one time next time we're in Waikiki. The food was phenomenal, and the staff members at dukes were awesome. They were all extremely polite, and helped us decide on what we wanted to eat because everything on the menu sounded incredible. I highly recommend this place to anyone!!! You will not be disappointed 👍😁❤️

Typically with a restaurant like this (beachfront in a high tourist area) you're really paying for the location. I was pleasantly surprised to find that was NOT the case with Duke's Waikiki - everything was perfect. The host (Faye) and our server (Krissie) were both so great. Faye was really welcoming and answered a few questions I had. Krissie was great from start to finish. She was pleasant, funny and very attentive even though she was quite busy. I booked about a month in advance for mine and my husband's anniversary dinner and we were sat at a lovely table. Upon being seated, one of the glasses had broken due to the cutlery resting inside. We were offered a free round of drinks for the inconvenience. I thought that was really customer oriented since we didn't mention it or anything, it was just offered right away. I did the ravioli which was delicious and my husband did the buffet they offered at the time. We did receive a free dessert for our anniversary which was absolutely DELICIOUS. Everything was great - impeccable customer service, great food and a lovely location.

Amazing spot. Great atmosphere and the food is awesome. They have a pretty good drink menu too. It's always busy but if you can get in it's worth it, especially if you can get a beach side tables. Live entertainment was also great and really added to the atmosphere. Definitely a must to checkout if you're visiting Waikiki.

I have tried their breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is good. I haven’t come across anything that I didn’t like. My favorite part is the breakfast. You have to get there before 7 (when it opens) because a lot of other people like it too. There is a huge fruit and breakfast buffet. Their drinks are good as well and I feel as though you get more for your money here. They give out full glass Drinks. You can eat/drink inside or outside. The bar has been full every time I’ve been there (minus breakfast). Like most places here, you have to watch out for the birds.

From great atmosphere to great food. Hands down I've always left this restaurant feeling great and well full. Their drinks are awesome and they have awesome appetizers that will make you feel right at home. You have a wonderful view of the beach and on weekends there's live music. We ordered the coconut mojito, fish n chips, cheeseburgers and grilled fish tacos. All of them were 5 star!

I was a little bit dubious at first. Booking 3 months in advance for a lunch? Come taking the Mickey here people right? Worth the wait just for the hula pie. One slice was good for 4 of us but embrace the diabetes and have one to yourself. Worth it though. Great location on the beach and surprised how big it was inside. Our food was pretty quick and the staff were just delightful. Would go back just for hula pie. You can wait for a table but on peak periods expect an hour minimum wait. If you want a dinner reservation you are looking at 6 months in advance. Banger of a place.

Great eat spot on the beach! There is also a live band there also. Food and drinks were great! Must show proof of 48 hour covid test or vaccine card to dine in. We had both the vaccine card and test before arriving in Hawaii due to so many changes there. Ask for Travis who was a great and attentive server!

This place is soooo delicious. That mango bacon burger was so tasty! Adding the pork on the nachos is a MUST. We are gonna go back every day so we can try everything on this menu because so far we have loved it all!

We made reservations six months in advance and thank god we did. There was a two hour wait the night we went. Our server was super nice and loved to chat, which made for a friendly experience. The drinks were ridiculously strong, but not in a gross I can’t drink this sort of way. The food was flavorful and well cooked. Definitely a touristy spot, but one worth going to. The hula pie was ok; it was HUGE, but not anything I would ever purposefully order again.

It's a historic restaurant on the Waikiki beach. Amazing views. Lots of choices and plenty of vegetarian options. The service was quick. Recommended to book a table ahead of time to avoid 20min wait. The veggie burger and wrap options were delicious. The desserts were yummy.

Jenny made our day! We walked up with reservations and had about a 20 minute wait right at super time. Got seated after warnings about "direct sunlight" but it wasn't uncomfortable at all. Do yourself a favor and make reservations but the menu is great. Try the pulled pork nachos. They're our of this world. Everything was competitively priced (for hawaii) and Jenny our server was an absolute treat. She's a reason to go back.

Beautiful date night experience. Live Music. Delicious food. Lovely setting. Great cocktails. Outside seating is by far my favorite. Get your name on the list early on in the evening and then go walk around and explore while you wait for them to call you when the table is ready. I admit it took almost 2 hours to be called but it was perfect!!

Definitely recommend coming to eat here. Touristy but very nice place to eat. Extremely friendly staff, fast and attentive service despite being usually quite busy and tasty food and drinks. We love the Cajun fish tacos. The hot sauce is amazing, not too into their mild sauce though. I love ice cream cake so the hula pie is just awesome. If you like ice cream and hot chocolate sauce then grab a slice and share it, or not. I certainly did not. 😅

We did curbside order which was quick and easy. We corresponded with a worker by the name of Josh, very kind. We called and he cane right out with our food and sent us off. The food was delicious. I’m pretty sure we ate everything lol

Great food! They have really good fish tacos and dessert. Save room for the Hula pie! This was by far the best dessert I’ve had. The fudge that goes over the ice cream pie was perfect. Giving this 4 stars because we were disappointed by the quality of service. We were made to wait for an additional 30 mins despite receiving notification that our table was ready. After approaching the host multiple times, they realized that they had forgotten to assign us a table and only then got us seated.

Dukes is the perfect place for a sit down dinner or going out for dancing & drinks! They have a great patio with live music only a few steps from the beach. The patio delivered the most amazing view to enjoy the Hawaiian sunset. If you're looking for the best Taci Tuesday spot i highly recommend their poke Tacos. Don't miss out on this beachfront patio experience.

First morning in Waikiki and we found ourselves at Duke’s. There was a short wait, we appreciated the spacious area in front of the restaurant, didn’t feel like we were on top of others while waiting for our table. Friendly, efficient waitress who catered to my love of multiple drinks, never had an empty glass! While I’m not a fan of breakfast buffets typically (there are other options) I leaned in and wasn’t disappointed! Eggs Benny on the ready, yes please! Lots of fruit choices and breads to fill you up, great variety too! Always love all you can eat bacon and potatoes! Nice view to start the day!

Arrived at around 18:30 and couldn’t get a table until 21:00. They have limited reservation spots that fill up quickly so plan accordingly. No parking in the area, but they will validate your parking at the East Hotel for $6 for 4 hours. The salad bar, which is excellent, is $25 and every entree added is an extra $7. They serve original Mai Thais here. Food portions were large. Family friendly and a great place to treat yourself.

This is a pretty good place for the most part. The food is definitely good and the service is pretty decent unless they get completely overwhelmed. I don't like that some of the guests that stay at the hotel feel entitled and hang out at tables for hours on end. They really should limit the amount of time that you sit at a table even if you have reservations that you've made months in advance. It's the respectable thing to do eat your food enjoy the scenery and then get out. I think the hula pie was a little bit on the overrated side it's good but nothing extremely special in my opinion. I would come here again though since the food was good.

It’s a Waikiki institution, so you should go, but the food and service were meh. It’s right on the beach and open-air, so nice ambiance. Our food came out lukewarm and our server, who brought the food out (late, as the food seemed to have sat for a while = why it was cold) was just okay. We ordered the calamari and coconut shrimp appetizers and the fish and chips meal. They came out at the same time, not coursed out. They would have been great if served hot, but alas.

Iconic beach restaurant location right in the heart of Waikiki. This is an absolute must if you are traveling to Oahu, but you absolutely must get your reservation in sooner than you think. We were not able to get dinner or lunch reservations at all for a two week time period. We went to the breakfast buffet option and they had plenty to choose from, very friendly wait staff and the food was delicious. The views from the restaurant looking out at the beach are pretty incredible.

Finding the validating parking was quite a challenge. Luckily we parked in a garage connected to Ross and was able to buy some slippers for $2. Parking was going to be $3 for every 30 mins without validation. The restaurant itself...Not impressed. It was a beautiful place with functioning staff and service. But, the food wasn't anything to rave about. I had the hamburger and the wife had the fish tacos. Her fish tacos were quite salty. I wouldn't finish it and I'm not a picky eater. My burger was dry; even cooked at medium (which it was). There was a buffet with a limited selection of food. Overall, I will always make the best of any situation and enjoy myself.. but, I would not go there again or recommend it since there are so many other great places to eat.

Had a 5 star rating until our last visit here. Came in for lunch and apps all week.. Can only think food poisoning. Got sick about an hour after eating. I'm about 15 min into getting sick then my wife got sick too. What a bad way to end our vacation. We shared a plate of calamari as we did all week. Should have not paid the tab today! Think 2 stars here is very generous.
