Like All restaurants within the Hilton, this was bad. The food was massively overpriced, even if it had been good. Burger was burnt and paper thin. Pizza tasted like it was from frozen pizza box. Chicken bites were terrible, thick breading, overcooked and some "bites" literally didn't have chicken in them at all, only breading. WARNING: Don't eat at ANY of the Hilton run restaurants on site, walk the extra 5 min and get real food at a reasonable price.

This was absolutely my first major disappointment on the Island of Oahu! Needed something quick and close. I ordered 2 burgers each with fries (an extra $12.00) and a large meat pizza. The pizza was $26.00 and it was nothing more than a $2.99 Jacks pizza that had been heated up with the same salty / flour powder on the crust! Literally, as seen in my picture, this “large” pizza was no bigger than my hand! The burgers used the same technique as White Castle burgers, even same flavors. The cheese was plastic over the top. I ordered it “loaded” and not one topping. No lettuce, no tomato, no onion, nothing but a pickle spear. The meat did have flavor to it, it was close by, and the staff was friendly, which is why I gave it a 2, but we won’t be eating here again.

Live music with some great musicians that play cover songs. Fills up quickly. Not enough seating. You can easily sit by the Tapa pool, which we did. Drinks can be ordered at the bar and brought to the pool area. Given the limited seating, they could send a waitress 20’steps over into the pool area.

DON’T ORDER THE BURGERS!! We paid $18 for what you see right here. There was only a dry and overcooked patty, cheese, a small bit of sauce and a pickle. If you wanted fried it was something like $6 more dollars. We had gotten mixed drinks that were watered down and unenjoyable. The servers were also quite rude and careless. It took forever to get a server’s attention and once we did she did not seem to care at all about us. The only redeeming factor was that we had gotten the loaded fries and they weren’t too bad, but I will never go back to this restaurant again.

Restaurant has a moderate diversity of American foods. I got the Singing the Blues burger and all in all it was painfully mediocre. The awesome sauce is better not on the burger. One friend got the Nashville boneless chicken and it was abysmal. I can say without a doubt it is one of the worst fried chicken I've ever tasted.

You really just have to hit this bar during Happy Hour, which is 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. It's half price drinks and if you do it right, you can fit a lot in for that amount of time. We didn't eat here, but hung out and drank just about every day of our stay. It's also nice, being right next to the pool that shows nightly movies. You can sit at the far end of the bar, have a nice brew and enjoy a movie (mostly kids movies.)

Tapa Bar is a great place to go for a casual meal and some live music. The bar is located in the Hilton Hawaiian Village, which is a large resort complex in Waikiki. The bar has a lively atmosphere, and the live music is always a crowd-pleaser. The food at Tapa Bar is delicious. The menu features a variety of tapas, as well as pizza, sandwiches, and salads. I especially enjoyed the grilled octopus and a chicken salad. The drinks at Tapa Bar are also great. The service at Tapa Bar is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they are always happy to make recommendations. The only downside to Tapa Bar is the price. The food and drinks are a bit on the expensive side, but it is Hawaii, after all.

No reservations and fight-for-your-own table. That said, it only took a couple minutes to get a table. Limited menu, but we each found something. Strong tasty drinks with quick polite unobtrusive service. Fun band with 80s classics engaged the crowd (or tried to). Yesterday's music was a bit country. Great outdoor seating. $100 for two people with dinner, drinks, tax and tip. Fair for Waikiki.

Good things first. Nice atmosphere, decent live music, hard working staff. I think they are a little short handed in staff, which I feel causes additional stress and adequate customer service. My 11 year old accidentally spilled his smoothie on our wobbly table that made a mess on him, the floor and table. I tried to ask for help so we could clean it up, but the server didn't have time to help us. I grabbed some napkins and tried to clean up as much as I could. I went to the bartender who was very polite and told him what happened. He asked what my son was drinking so he could replace it. The waitress finally came by and handed me a wash cloth and some napkins. I work in customer service and treat servers very well with tipping to let them know what they do is noticed and appreciated. I still tip when I feel that service was not good, but I was unhappy about the way our server didn't give us any help and never came back to check on us or help. I really expected better customer service.

Bottom line, if you're desperate for something to eat or drink, just don't! Mixed drinks are small; the pizza was, well, disgusting; the Caesar salad was very small and unappealing and, why they would make a bacon blue cheese burger that was dry, unseasoned, overcooked, with cold cheese slices and waffle potatoes with zero seasoning and none in sight at the table, I just don't know. The awesome sauce for the burger must have been an awesome invisible sauce. Run, do not walk away from this disaster. But if you dare go, the servers will take a long time to take your order, but are ok otherwise, so good luck.

The food is sub par here. I ordered a burger, loaded waffle fries and a pizza. All my food seemed like it was sitting under heating lamps prior to being brought out to me. I honestly wish I had gotten food from somewhere else that night. BUT if you're looking to get a drink and a fun entertaining atmosphere this is a great place to go. They have live music at night with all the tables full. It makes for a fun night. The bartenders are awesome also. I enjoyed this place for the atmosphere it provided but I would not eat there again.

We came to this restaurant/bar in 2018 and had a marvelous time. Then the pandemic intervened and we were not able to visit the island again until 2023. We probably spent every night of our vacation in 2018 at this place. They had an amazing Hawaiian band called Olomana. It was fantastic!! Unfortunately, we were more than disappointed when we went again a few days ago and saw two large screen TVs flanking a small band that played mostly cover songs that you could hear in any bar in the mainland. The bands weren’t bad, they just did not play authentic Hawaiian music. And it is absolutely disgusting to place TVs with sports events alongside live performers. That is an insult to both the band and the patrons. I have to say that the bartender could not have been nicer. He explained that the place was under new management since the pandemic I understand the need for new management when we have undergone a pandemic, but the ambience of the place is just terrible now. I could not recommend it to anyone. I gave it 2 stars, only because the bartender was so nice, and the band that we heard was very good. I just wish that in Hawaii we could hear more authentic Hawaiian music.

Great service (from Ian) and the food we chose were also good. Cheerleaders practising in the balcony above ruined the atmosphere a bit.

Service got there every time was great. Food is above average. At night they have music and bar. Would recommend anytime of day.

I eat lunch here pretty often, because the food is awesome! OG Smash burger, waffle fries, pizza, if its on this menu, it is great. The servers and bartenders here keep to the high standards you would expect from a luxury resort. They are cool down to earth and always working hard. A plus in my book!! Stop in and see for yourself!

I came to Hawaii for the first time Justin and Steven were so welcoming and they made the best blue ocean drink and French fries. If you travel to Hawaii ask for Justin or Steven they will treat you like a Majesty.

This is the best bar at the Hilton Hawaiian Village!! If you are lucky enough to meet David, the bartender, you will have a great night. He is super friendly and makes you feel right at home. I will be coming back to this bar specifically to see if he is working just because I really enjoyed talking to him! You should definitely come here just for the exceptional service, thanks David!

Unimpressed, for price, paper plates and plastic to go utensils are kind of a slap to the customers face. Second drink came out with a big hair near the lip of the drink. Service was on Hawaii time, talking to friends when they walked by and going long periods 20-30 minutes with out checking in with table. Place was only 25% full and servers were standing around bar chatting with bar tender.

The food is pretty good. I suggest the pizza and Nashville hot chicken. I prob got it 4-5 times while there.

The menu offers typical bar food & drinks, with doable prices in a resort setting. There’s 3 TV’s in the Bar Area with optimal seating throughout the patio bar/lounge setting. Live music every night with different artists & bands. Thus far I really enjoy Juke Joint that play cover songs to the tune. Service is great with welcoming employees.

Drinks are good, but the menu has changed and they no longer have a lot of the drinks from the menu visible online. Relaxing location with music and some TV's. Great loaded fries. Really enjoyed it.

The Tapa Bar is always fun and never disappoints. With an outdoor seating in a tropical paradise, servers and bartenders are always nice and for the most part service is quick without delay. The menu is small but with a nice selection and the best part is there are live entertainers every night keeping the vibe and you toe tapping and seat dancing all night.

This restaurant is nice right next to the pool but menu selection is limited. The alcohol drinks are watered down. The waitress was nice/friendly and I enjoyed the live music which is why I gave it a "4" rating and not less.

What an amazing restaurant/bar with the sweetest staff around! We loved it so much that we went two nights in a row. The live music is amazing, and so are the food and drinks. Thank you so much for making our experience there so wonderful!

Dustin was a real treat! Made some good drinks like the Long Islands. Yum! Pretty much the whole staff was amazing! Can't wait to come back to visit the Tapas Bar again!

Drinks are pretty sad for the price but I guess at least there's booze in it. The music is good if you're into teenage girl music mixed with something your grandparents might like. Too many places better in you walk ten minutes and half the price plus you don't need to listen to that horrible music and be surrounded by a ton of people.

The curly haired lanky white boy that runs this place, or at least acts like he does, has the worst worst worst attitude. I saw him being rude to several other people and talked with random other people about how poorly they were treated by him as well. So crazy how one person can ruin so many guests experience at this resort. Such a shame. He definitely needs a training course on hospitality and customer service… in Texas he would have been slapped, twice.
