This is only a review on the parking garage. CHEAPEST PLACE DOWNTOWN, at least that I've found. Most places are $21, even municipal parking. This garage is only $10 for a business day. It's clean, no elevator though, only stairs. Don't pay attention to the arrows painted on the floors, pay attention to the signs to find out where to go. Remember where you park, because the levels aren't labeled. Take your ticket with you when you leave your car because the kiosk to pay is on the bottom level (near the foot path to enter/exit). When you return to leave, pay at the kiosk, you'll get another ticket which you give to the machine at the exit to raise the gate. The kiosk does take card, unlike many other parking garages.

I was standing outside for about 3 minutes saying goodbye to a friend when I heard an overcome voice saying they were calling the cops on me for loitering. I showed my ticket and said I was a paying customer but they still insisted they were going to call the cops unless I left immediately. Instead I made sure my friends were safe enough to drive home, took my time paying my ticket and then slowly walked up to my car. Horrible customer service if they won't even allowed female the safety to make sure their friends are safe to drive home without pretend calling the cops on them. They literally have nothing else better to do...

They just got a new parking system that never works and every day I’m stuck in a line trying to get out of the garage. Held me up 40 minutes one day. Old system was better.

Don’t scan the QR code to pay before you exit. The timer will tick away for days because there isn’t a code at the exit, plus once you get to the exit there is a sign that says don’t scan the QR code. Would have been helpful to see that at all the other scan to pay signs. No one answers the phone and if you leave a message they don’t call back.

Many spaces are tight. And be careful where you turn, because there are dead ends where you must back out from, unless you have a small Honda Fit or Mini Cooper to turn around. And there is no elevator, so no good for seniors or anyone who can't maneuver the narrow stairwell.

We had an awesome time watching Rocky Horror Picture Show! The area was cool and hip and somewhat tight. The people who ran the event were friendly and the overall experience was enjoyable!

Local art gallery that's been around forever. They do shows featuring local artists of all kinds (painters, sculptors, etc.) and a small stage area for performances. They also rent out the space for events. I recently went here for a fundraiser and it was a cool vibe. They're very helpful in getting tables and chairs set up for events. As of 4/4/18 they're also letting the Friends of the Library of Hawaii do a pop-up shop selling used books to benefit the libraries, which is cool. Directly connected to Mark's Garage so parking is super simple or there's metered parking in all the nearby blocks. The facility is staring to look a little dated on the inside, but it's a longtime establishment so that's to be expected. Looked like the bathrooms were renovated recently though -- nice and definitely one of the cleanest places I've peed in Chinatown.

Arts at Marks has wonderful rotating art shows, performances, yoga classes, and much more! They also have awesome coffee and food at Cool Beans Coffee Spot inside which has made from scratch breakfast burritos, cookies, brownies and more. The library has a small satellite friends of the library bookstore there as well, making this a haven from the busy streets. Also, Downtown Art Center is only a couple of blocks away. They both have First Friday activities. Very cool places to go see wonderful art during the week or during First Fridays!

Been frequenting this theater space since 2000! Highly recommend hitting up a show here, checking the monthly art installations, and booking out for your own events or shows.

A small local art gallery. Much of the work is inspiring. Super informative/friendly staff greets you as you enter. There’s a rotating display of art every month(call for changes). Some months it’s photography, other months it’s abstract art. You never know what awaits you. Worth a visit if you’re into the art scene.

Paid for a ticket online for the Saturday open mic. Got to the venue it wasn’t open, no refund and was told to get away from building. Buyer beware!!!

Great local arts center supporting the community. Bar available by donation during local shows. Stop by and support by purchasing Arts at Marks gear.

Came early, guys at the booth were very friendly. Stalls are on the small side. Gets crowded so expect double parking.

Found some unique greeting cards handmade using photos from former library books, just a couple bucks each.

Great place to find art from local artists. They also have a small coffee shop with a nice selection of cold brew coffee. I recommend the vegan Thai coconut.

Cramped, confusing and confounded of a design! It's considered public, but almost all reserved. I'm referring only to the parking garage, I wasn't going to the art gallery.

I was lucky enough to see the Hawaii Water Color show on 10/17/20! Impressive and beautiful! I'll go back a few times. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Hoping they start serving adult beverages and add more exhibits. Great local amenity!!
