Love it! I think, this Navy Exchange has beat them all. I have been to North Island San Diego California and to Little Creek Virginia and they are close to it but this Navy Exchange is beautiful. Although, I am quite surprise that this Navy Exchange is not on any military base. I didn’t have to show a military ID to no one until I purchased my items. As for the store itself — AMAZING! I love the waterfall inside the store. The little shops in the common area are pleasant to look at. The Exchange itself is huge. I believe there are two levels inside the building. There were long lines to cash out but the wife and I came on a holiday (father’s day). Although, the lady at the jewelry counter was kind and rang us out (very nice). The people who work there are pleasant; must be the great weather they have. I did notice, there were other areas of the store that was located down the road (furniture store and a garden / plant store). If you are in the military, I highly suggest you go there. If any, just take in the view — tell me what thinks. I forgot — try the little vendor outside the store. I don’t know the name but they served shaved ice on top of some ice cream — VERY GOOD!

Woman at the front was demanding a driver's license from my niece (who is under 16) and would not let me enter with her and my son. They are minors. I provided my ID and they were with me. I understand 100% ID check, but these are minors. I've never had this issue before, fix this.

Really impressed with this particular NEX especially with a commissary next door. Very pleasant atmosphere with beautiful interior and delicious food vendors outside. Also, gas prices were a bit lower than most places around the island.

I always appreciate the Exchanges no matter which branch it is. There are always great deals and they have definitely been upgraded as a whole. This one is huge with plenty of options in the food court, a fantastic spread of local vendors, and lots of available tourist items

Thank you for having an awesome exchange - Sincerely, rhat Army at Fort Shafter. It has to be one of the best in the country with the entire first floor dedicated to clothes and the upstairs for electronics, tools, household goods, toys, souvenirs, and entire food court, even with more food and service options outside.

Anything and everything you need is in this massive 2-story shopping center. Check out the food court for some good diverse eats. It may be a U.S. Navy facility but anyone can walk in and look around. You don't need a military ID to use the food court but you will need an ID to make a purchase inside the PX.

Best place for card carrying members to shop on the island! All are welcome to come to the food court and enjoy the Wyland mural on the ceiling and there are plenty of vendors for gift shopping that don't require a beneficiary ID to enjoy. Highly recommend.

Located off the base, has pretty much everything. Package store inside and commissary right next to it. Very crowded though.

Navy Exchange Mall in Oahu, Pearl Harbor area is an awesome place to shop for military active duty, veterans, their families, and sponsored friends. It is a very convenient store with most of your immediate necessary personal commodity needs can be found.. It is very spacious and well organized . Clean and very sanitary. The NEX Food Court is an awesome place to spend hours relaxing while having nutritious meals.

It's great if you're military, DOD or a dependent. There are a few businesses (UPS Store, food) that anyone can go to. Plenty of parking, but the close spaces are reserved for high ranking officers.

Good for an Exchange. I just wish they didn't allow overpriced private vendors. For example the little seasonal gift shop selling the Turkish style colorful lamps for literally 5x the price I got mine on Amazon. Other than that good food options and a decent selection at the Exchange itself.

Opened new star car recently and so happy I used it during best weekend with extra savings for scratch card and extra savings for star card special for January. I had best help in customer service helping me do a layaway because I had no way of taking an item on Sale so I was able to still receive excellent deals did the weekend but also was able to save it until I can pick it up doing the layaway. I was also able to purchase other items at customer service rather than go to cashier and wait in line. Overall excellent service and management!!

Great representation of the navy exchange brand. Overall very clean and organized. The package store, exchange, and commissary all being connected helped a lot and made it easier to get from one to the other. Wheelchair and scooter accessible for senior citizens.

The biggest military shopping on the island. They have the best high tech stuff like tvs xbox ps5 laptops etc. The food vendors outside are great good portions with fair pricing... if you qualify to shop there would recommend!

We mainly come here for the food court since we are not in the military and can not get into the commissary. There are some shops below the second floor food court, but their touristy prices are not good for my pocketbook. There are some outside vendors, but we have not tried them yet. The things remembered and UPSnstores are also very convenient, so we frequent those as well. It is a nice area and is well kept since the military has lots of funding. I am not a fan of the many reserved stalls for the high-ranking officials because it means we have to walk further, but I totally get why they have it and respect it being there. This is not just a shopping area but a place for those who serve and their families. We are allowed to eat and shop here, so I am thankful for that. Will be back again.

Good selection, a lot of meh clothes and shoes but decent stuff scattered in between. The staff is nice and the lines are usually short when I go. If you're just visiting the area they have souvenirs you'll find in ABC stores for less than half the price. The prices on other things could be better, they even increase the price of some items to make them cost the same as other stores after taxes (noticed some luggage that was 80 at a souvenir shop was 85 here)

If you're looking for a great shopping experience in Honolulu and have the military privileges, the Navy Exchange Mall is definitely worth a visit. From the moment you walk in, you'll be struck by the bright and airy atmosphere, which makes browsing and shopping a real pleasure. The mall is well-designed and easy to navigate. Whether you're looking for clothing, electronics, gifts, or just about anything else, you're sure to find something that catches your eye. One of the best things about the Navy Exchange Mall is the excellent customer service. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help you find what you're looking for. They're also happy to offer recommendations and advice, which can be really helpful when you're not sure what to buy. Overall, I would highly recommend visiting the Navy Exchange Mall in Honolulu. It's a great place to shop, relax, and enjoy all that Hawaii has to offer.

Anyone on here telling you that they have great selection or prices is either a delusional overpaid officer or is blatantly lying. The selection is terrible in most sections compared to other stores, and the prices are terrible. Sure you don't pay sales tax, but when the item on clearance is still marked 30% higher than full price at other stores, you're not saving money. You're spending extra just because you think being in the military is benefiting you. Do yourself a favor and if you're thinking about buying something, do a quick search at Target or Walmart to find the exact same item at a much cheaper price. You'll never shop here again.

Huge shopping center with all the basics, plus a great place to buy Hawaiian things as well. Good prices and a great food court. We come here all the time and will continue to do so. I highly recommend it!

I brought my brother with me to help him find shoes for his new job. He found adequate shoes and I got a few items for me. I love the variety of restaurants in the food court however finding seats inside can be somewhat challenging.

Unbelievable, huge selection of everything and there is an upstairs. This is a must for retired visitors on vacation. I spent a lot of money on wife's jewelry and Hawaiian gifts. Clothes, shoes, watches, jewelry. You name it, they have it. Great experience. Photos are of the ceiling

Attractive and inviting entrance. Handles large crowds well although can be a bit of a wait at NEX checkout sometimes. Clean. Easy parking and traffic flow. Indoor and outdoor food court vendors. Good array of Hawaiian gifts.

Huge shout out to Miss Rosie for the outstanding customer service. Never once been greeted like she greets her customer with the utmost respect. Outstanding job and should be passed along to everyone else. God bless

What can I say? It's the biggest NEX in the world. I wasn't expecting it to be this big, but here we are. Who the heck reads reviews about the NEX mall anyways, what're you doing? Go outside or even better yet, come visit this mall! ;-)

  • 4/5 Courtney P. 1 year ago on Google
Really like this place. The best thing is the food vendors outside! The only reason it gets less than 5 stars is the food cort on the inside has random hours for the food places inside. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could. The employees in the main exchange are very nice!

  • 5/5 Brendan 1 year ago on Google
They have everything! Lots of good deals for all the military stuck on the island! It’s so fun to just walk around and see what’s new! They do a great job with everything in the store.
