The only indoor shopping Mall in Honolulu, Hawaii. Many unique retail stores and restaurants. A great place to take a break after hiking at the Diamond Head or Hanauma Bay. East of Oahu.

Fresh Buttery Popcorn! 🍿👃 I like Kahala Mall because it always smells like fresh buttery popcorn :) There are many seating options everywhere you go and the options all are socially distanced from each other In the middle of the mall there is an ultra high ceiling almost open air-feeling with a pretty display of some sort. There is seating around the center display which is often used by people I feel safe walking around this mall and like all the store options. There is ample parking and ample parking entrances to help with traffic flow

Not sure what is going on with the carpet. Very retro. However, I'm assuming that's just the original look and not a specific style they are going for. I feel like there isn't enough natural light in some sections. I feel like something is missing from this mall. I cannot put my finger on it. I suppose this is a good place to visit if you have nothing to do. You would be able to spend about an hour here before wondering if there was something better to do.

Cute little mall. I enjoyed my visit. I loved the fact that they have Sanrio Surprises there! The store of my childhood/teen years.

Lots of parking. Easy access. Enclosed and air conditioned. Opens before stores open and a great place to walk and window-shop then go into shops when they open. One circuit around is about a half mile. Nice selection of restaurants and drink places as well as stores.

Convenient, indoors. Diversity of stores and place to eat. Easy to navigate. Cool and convenient for Holiday shopping! 6/16/22 CPK on one wing is a nice place to hang if you wanna grab a quick bite, do a little errand shopping, and enjoy some a/c. I like the diversity of shops and being able to do it at a leisurely pace. You can spend a whole day here, literally. Very convenient. 🤙✌️ 3/2023 Definitely, some new stores replaced old ones. Still a good place to shop, meet for lunch, catch a movie, and even get a workout in. 🙂🤙✌️

Very cool mall. I like that you can find some of the typical mall stores but there are also unique stores. I especially like visiting the Cookie Corner. The best cookies ever!

A nice mall with all the necessary shops and food establishments located under one roof in an air conditioned environment. Macys, Long's (CVS), Town & Country, Whole Foods, CPK and Starbucks just to name a few. Lots of smaller specialty shops aslo. Must check out the newly renovated and recently opened theaters. Your one stop family friendly mall for food, shopping and entertainment.

Very nice shopping mall. Lots of stores, good food choices, large retailers and easy parking. It's hard to imagine what you might need that is not available here.

I've been going to this mall my whole life and I love it because it doesn't have the ritzy or ultra commercial feel of most malls. I usually can't tolerate malls but I can tolerate this one. I love the old carpet and the wooden tables and it makes it feel home-y and community-y and less commercial. I always see people sitting in there chatting and hanging out - all types of people - and I love it. The vibe is nice.

This is one of the best places to go to if you need to shop for some really nice clothes. They have shoe stores, they have stores with little knick knacks and gadgets, they have stores with computer knowledge, they have coffee they have food, they have wonderful little treats that you didn't even know were possible.. and there's a Whole Foods. And the counter is there which is a great place for burgers. Oh also California Pizza Kitchen. Although I don't find CPK to be as good as it used to be. The menu is much smaller the prices are much higher and some of my favorite dishes have disappeared and I just don't think that what I'm getting is worth what I'm paying for.

Great mall that is off the beaten path. This is a much quieter, "locals" mall in Honolulu. Didn't have to fight any crowds or anything like that on the weekend after Thanksgiving.

This is our favorite mall. Small and friendly with no toxic mall vibes. Comfortable movie theater that offers senior discounts. The mall has a good selection of restaurants and a great hello kitty store. Also several decent toy stores.

I really like Kahala Mall, but it's time to stop playing Christmas Music.... Maybe change the regular playlist too. Update: They did. Very nice place to shop and meet up with friends.

Sometimes you just have to spend the day at the mall. My grand baby loves kahala mall . Up and riding has all the cutest gear, I get all my shopping done at Whole Foods, and there’s a post office to ship all your mall finds to mainland friends. I especially love the complete kitchen. There’s always a sale and I find things I can’t wait to try or give as a gift. Don’t even get me started on SoHa living 😍

Great mall, lots of friendly and helpful people here. Many memories from many years gone by, in my opinion the old rugs were better 😎🤙

We had an amazing experience on the island period ‼️ but the mall was something different. amazing food and we actually only went to go to sanrio surprises. Of course as always I will always go back.

It's a mall straight out of the late 90's early 2000's and I loved it. The shops and food options are modern and there is even a Whole Foods.

Love taking a drive out there. Love the stores and shops they have. T&C surf shop has very great customer service and very polite manners. I had old gift certificates n I mean old like 18yrs old that I found in my room n they still took it 🙏 One of my favorite surf shops to go to. Kahala mall has great eating places to go to if your hunger at any moment. BIG MAHALO TO OUR KAHALA MALL 🙏🤙😊😘

It's bright. It's beautiful. It's got a real modern and elegant Hawaiian Vibe. The music takes you back to old Hawaii but the visual is definitely modern day Hawaii. It's the higher end of Hawaii hidden in beautiful Kahala. They have it all plus cool unique boutiques. One of those you gotta go to malls just for the experience.

I like to walk laps around the storefronts before the mall opens. Great place, air controlled, no rain, no uneven walkways. Safe with security. Many others doing the same.

I LOVE this mall. They have so many great specials and events often. August 6th the have the Mom Made Market event! Super looking forward to it. If you’re in Waikiki please do yourself a favor and check it out.

WHOLE FOODS have some great stuff. The vegan salads are great but very expensive. A lunch salad cost me $27.00!!! I was shocked. People have to be careful in shopping. I've found better pricong for several items at DOWN TO EARTH and KOKUA MARKET.

Only come to this mall for Whole Foods - Too busy during the day but not so bad early on weekdays, just before closing. Convenient rooftop parking that's rarely full and an easy walk down the staircase to the front of the store. Helpful staff, nice organic options, usually good produce although sometimes they are tired/sad. Good organic meat offerings, variable and occasionally very good seafood options. Their cheese selection has become constrained, I guess because the pandemic. They do have some yummy stars there. Decent wine options, but not extensive. Nice, prepared food bar, but often swamped with tourists, kids, lazies. Pricey if you run down a set list, however sometimes stellar house brands, and specials plus Prime, make it kinda normal Hawaii expensive. Nice, as with other Whole Foods, they try to source locally.

I accidentally found this mall, I was interviewing with a prospective employer across the parking lot at the Chiles Restaurant and their it was Kahala Mall. The only reason I went their is because I seen they had a Macy's Department Store, so I said I'll go just to see if there were any similarities on sale items and there were, so , I pick up a shirt and asked the clerk to hold a pair of pants until my birthday and she said yes she would. My birthday is just a couple of days away, I shall return to that Macy's to purchase those pants and find another pair, on sale of course.

Nice mall in tge neighborhood. Some shops are only accessible from the outside and a bit confusing. Wish there are more guides for the people not very familiar with the place.
