Where friends and family can gather for a mah-sah-jee (massage chairs, coin operated) or shop for Hawaiian memorabilia (2nd floor, shameless plug for my Mom's store, Heidi's) or rent gorgeous wedding dresses and tuxes, then take the escalator or elevator down to the basement for a Little Tokyo afternoon delight. There's even a super busy post office on the second floor. Which is...next to my Mom's store, Heidi's. Yes, another shameless plug for my Mom's Aloha Wear store. Second floor. Ahem. Good eats, good deals, good harmony. ABC store on the ground floor is Royal Hawaiian side, and the nice Asian Lady with the gorgeous stones in a kiosk next to Starbucks is Seaside. From the WSP, my Auntie and Mom and I can head over to Sam's Keeamouku (above Wal-Mart) and eat at Koryo BBQ (near UH Manoa, next to Burger King). Or, when my little brother is in town, we just cruise down McCully and sneak away for some shave ice in a not-so-secret location. 😀 Locals don't really think about Waikiki Shopping Plaza, but they should. It really is one of the last bastion of old Hawai'i, but modernized, thanks to the wonderful property management team and marketing department. Parking isn't unreasonable, and bus lines are convenient. It's a great stop to Holo Holo like a Lolo Local. Our bank, Central Pacific, is nearby next to the Ross on Seaside. And stores like H&M and Sephora are priced just right for budget-minded families. My favorite hangout? McDonald's on Kuhio/Royal Hawaiian, for a McCafe. Sorry Starbucks. I'm a tightwad. With The International Market Place "gone" (actually just luxur-ized, which I actually love and my friends from California have enjoyed), small business owners like my Mom have moved out of Waikiki and squatted in "Korea-moku" (as my Zumba teacher and friend, K. Wada of LIV International Fame like to tease me). Hence, Waikiki Shopping Plaza is truly a stroll down memory lane for this kid daughter, who is only getting fatter from the yummy treats and ono drinks in the basement of the WSP. Who can say no to mochi?? Not I. No. Neva. Nevah say neva. But. I already did. Twice. Like in. Second floor. Heidi's. Aloha Wear. Do not pass go. !!++++++++*******+++++++*******!! (For the MBA types) The professional property management ladies in the Waikiki Business Plaza across the street have kept two generations of Kor-Am women on track. Anytime I forget to email an insurance certificate or my Mom forgets that it's already the first of the month, they kindly nudge us into compliance with emails and follow-ups. I've also seen a slow, but steady progression of real capital improvements in the 15 or so years that we have been in business, and I give a lot of credit to the unseen landlord, who is famous, according to our family business lawyer, Kiyuchi (Bishop/King). He tells my Mom and I that the landlord could charge more per sq. ft., but is generous, because they embody True Old Hawai'i values. We "small kine" ladies really appreciate the kindness of our landlord, and the entire property management team, headed by Arlene. Mahalo, Waikiki Shopping Plaza and Waikiki Business Plaza. Here's to many more years of harmonious business, local style. Ciao bello!! Min Ku, DDS CA-licensed General Dentist. UCSF School of Dentistry/UC Regent, Class of 2004. I contemplated on giving between 4/5 stars only bcoz it’s not really fair to rate this restaurant for the fact that I have been to so many teppanyaki restaurants that, rarely one is different than the other, and this is not one of them. However, I can say that their seafood are fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was great and the waitress’s were attentive. I took some good pictures though!! :)

If you're looking for a great selection of delicious food, this establishment's food court is the place to be. The variety of options is impressive, and the quality of the food is consistently high.

Visited Stix Asia food court just reopen recently with renovations - if offers choices of several restaurants most of them Japanese style. The food court is down escalator in the basement of the building. Upper stories are department stores, and formal sit-down restaurants.

First time here as we came for the Hilife store. Not worth it. Parking garage is tight to get in and out of, though the parking spaces themselves was ok. Could not find a restroom in the building that as the ones on the bottom floor you had to be eating at the restaurant.

A small food court with a number of Asian eateries. We walked about and nothing ended up jumping out at us. We ended up leaving and eating elsewhere.

VERY nice traditional and open space plaza with night time sky views. Beautiful concept (kudos to the architect). I would love a shopping/dining location like this in my city. I went at night so photos would be a challenge 😭. Just visit the location if you're in Waikiki!

Not a very good location for shopping. The food court is currently closed for renovation which is very sad. Most of the shops in the mall are stuff like car rentals or other business things.

Great place to people watch, go shopping, or get a bite to eat if your in the area. Not a must see but it’s hard to miss if your in the area, recommend checking out the food court on the second floor if your looking for a quick bite for the family, many options to choose from.

1st time back to this place in 4 years. Its been renovated, but it no longer resembles a shopping center, but more an office building. With a really nice restaurant.

Free Old School arcades! I know they're shortened for kids but MK2 and Marvel vs Capcom are as much fun for the children as Wu Tang Klan is educational. Galaga, Asteroids, and Pac-Man take me back. The basement food hall itself feels like the malls of Ahkibara in Tokyo or the shops inside Kyoto Tower; the layout, proximity of shops, materials and design are identical... Even down to the plastic models of fake demonstration plates. Waikiki Yokocho is the name of the food hall, which is the main attraction and puts the food court on the upper levels of the on the other side of seaside Street to shame--that one is just fast food options. Honestly, this entire mall complex is 50% food spots. Awesome. Back in the basement, the fish at Izykaya Kai tastes like it's fresh from Tsukiji Market. The shabu shabu set and happy hour beers for two at Sizzle was pretty cheap, <70$ for A5 wagyu. The ramen shops tucked in the east corner on Ramen Road are all legit.

Had to go and try Ramen Bario. A really great place to go. If you do not like oily foods, I would not recommend it for you. They only take cash. Best to go in the evenings (after 6pm) to get the $7 parking rate.

This was for the security guard, Darryl, who went above and beyond his professional work to accomodate us. I became crippled and had crutches while in Hawaii. Had to get tested on the rainiest day. I went out the elevator and slipped on the wet floor. He also helped us get a cab close to the front. Truly appreciate great people here. -1 star is for the slippery floors around the plaza, definitely not meant for people with crutches like me.

Lots of shops to go into. Unfortunately that most prices were pretty high. I don't expect to get things cheap but the prices in Waikiki are definitely looking at getting tourists to pay for items! Fun shopping anyway! 🛍

Hawaii tour experts are located in here and they provide the best tours and activities on the island with from what I have seen the best prices! Starbucks is also located in the building with Armani exchange and many other stores! Good place to go to get out of the heat and they provide free Wi-Fi

We utilized the 4 hour parking for $7.00 at the Waikiki shopping plaza. Conveniently located near all the food shops and restaurants. Plus the beach access is across the street behind the shops.
