Small parking lot right at the front. Make reservation cause there are a lot of people trynna dine here. Last call is at 8pm, so heads up for that. The food is delicious. The potato mochi app is a must get! It's a crazy potato form factor. The corn tempura is pretty good but also decently heavy and oily so you could share it across more than 4 people. Daikon salad is solid too. And the fried chicken cartilage is so crispy I'll recommend if you're into that type of food. The ramen is thick and flavorful, and the spicy does add up - not the spiciest you've ever had, but kind of like shin ramen spice... But even the no spice ones are great. The Kona coffee jelly dessert is amazing and so soft and flavored too. Come soon! Service is great. You can open a tab and the food and drinks come so quickly.

The best ramen that I have ever had! So tasty, I recommend to visit this restaurant for everyone! Sparerib Tan Tan Men has a very rich flavour. Pork spareribs really melt in your mouth. Broth is buttery, spicy, rich and delicious! In the menu, you can find a several options of the broth, as well as additions. I tried Gyodashi Shoyu Ramen, and its broth was made from chicken and seafood. For any ramen you can select the spicy level and select the protein if you want.

Ramen noodles are great 👍 I'd also recommend the mini char sui bowl! Last but not least, the yuzu sorbet and Kona coffee jelly are the best dessert!

To ensure a seamless dining experience, it's strongly advisable to make a reservation in advance, especially if you'd like to avoid a potentially lengthy wait outside, given the remarkable popularity of this establishment. One standout feature we particularly enjoyed is their commitment to customization. You have the freedom to tailor your ramen precisely to your liking, from the firmness and thickness of the noodles to the serving size, and even the flavoring and spiciness levels of the soup. This level of personalization adds an extra layer of satisfaction to your meal. Our culinary journey here was nothing short of delightful. The Garlic Wagaya Ramen left a lasting impression with its rich, garlicky notes, while the potato mochi provided a unique and satisfying contrast. These culinary highlights made our visit truly memorable.

The best Ramen place I’ve visited so far on Oahu. Ghost spicy is making me feeling great. All appetizers are amazingly delicious. I would come back soon.

When they first opened their ramen was exceptionally good and they were always busy. But over the last couple of years the quality of the food seems to have gone down. Maybe the pandemic played a factor, or maybe they had to sacrifice quality in order to meet the demand to get costumers in and out to lessen the wait time. Maybe it’s both, or not. I don’t know. I had the tan tan ramen on this trip, and although it wasn’t bad, I’ve had better elsewhere. It was described as mildly spicy, but there was hardly any spiciness in my opinion. Also ordered the karaage chicken, and while we appreciated the portion size, we wished they had cut them into more manageable bite sized pieces. Service was average.

💵 Price: $15 USD pp 🤤Taste: 4.6 / 5 🕯Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️ 🪑Seating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 📈 Price Performance ratio: 4.7 / 5 Retention Rate:100% Summary: ℙ𝕣𝕠𝕤 * Some of the best broth I've had * Loved the pickled ginger added to the soup! It balanced out the fattiness from the tonkatsu * Quick turnover * Reasonably priced * The beef tongue was seasoned perfectly. The salt drew the beefy flavor out of it. * Noodles were pretty chewy * The charsiu was tender and flavorful ℂ𝕠𝕟𝕤: * Expect a lineup * Noodles aren't made in-house but acceptable quality. Still quite chewy * Noodles still taste a little commercialized. I don't like the plastic chew * The garlic in the garlic tonkatsu ramen is overpowered the natural broth from the pork and chicken flavor. * Some part of the beef tongue was a bit chewy 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: * There was already a quarter line up at the door when we arrived a quarter after it opened * We were all impressed by Hakata Wagaya Ramen! The broth was pact with a combination of chicken and pork flavor, but the chicken flavor was more prominent. The highlight was the pickled ginger bits which married perfectly with the tonkatsu broth! The bits of acidity and ginger helped smooth out the fattiness from the broth. This was one memorable ramen soup base

There were tons of people lining up at the door! I planned to dine in but eventually ordered appetizers and ramen online and took them back to my hotel room. It may not look good in the picture, but the potato mochi and ramen are delicious! The flavor of shoyu, the sweetness of the potato, and the unique taste of seaweed balanced well on the potato mochi. The broth of ramen is deep. The corn tempura became soft when I got back, so that I couldn't comment on the taste of it😂

Was told the best Hawaii ramen rivals those in Japan, so got to try. Every dish delights! Ramen was bouncy and broth rich, balanced, flavourful. Ordered few appetisers. Equally charmed! Shrimp was bouncy in a fried wrapper, with a tail for easy finger pick-up. Chicken was tender insider and crispy outside, no fiery sauce needed to be addicted for more. Spicy cucumber was not spicy, but still crunchy. Delicious food that doesn’t break the bank. Highly recommend!!! Thank you for an amazing meal !!!

All the food was good except the beef tongues. The beef tongues were too solid and hard to take. It's unlike the average beef tongues. However, all the other foods are fantastic!! The fried chicken is one of the best in the U.S.

Very busy place. We came at 5pm and restaurant was pretty full. Parking lot is quite small so it’s easier to get a spot if you come early. Food was absolutely outstanding. Highly recommend garlic tsukemen and freshly made dumplings. Don’t forget the yuzu sorbet for dessert it’s very refreshing!

Very popular local ramen spot! Would recommend going early as they tend to get very busy! You can also check in ahead of time online. They have a variety of appetizers and would definitely recommend their chicken karage, potato mochi, and corn tempura. You can customize the ramens based on noodle, saltiness, and firmness of noodle in addition to adding additional toppings. Not as much of a selection for dessert but I have been wanting to try their coffee jelly.

Black garlic ramen and tantan ramen both great! Really love that they can choose soft cooked noodle. Agedash toufu recommended. But the corn is not crispy enough.

The best ramen I’ve had in North America! Price was reasonable too! We especially enjoyed the spare rib tan tan men, and the potato mochi! The service was superb in that despite the fact that we arrived just 20mins before they close, they were nice enough to let us in! And when I accidentally dropped my bag behind my chair waiter was so nice and immediately picked up my bag even though they were serving another table :) Waiter patiently and answered our questions honestly about the ramen, and promptly informed us when the kitchen was about to close. Overall great experience!

We ordered the tsukemen and the garlic wagaya ramen when we visited. The soup base was on point and really solid, not like any butter creamy stuff we normally get in Americanized ramen joint. Especially we love their garlicky flavors! Will definitely comeback to this place to taste again.

A small ramen shop with a very tasty ramen. They have different broth - the shoyu broth is made with chicken, fish and konbu while the tonkotsu is made with pork bones and chicken. Also has vegetarian broth. The tonkotsu broth ramen is awesome and has a variety of option including Hakata style, Garlic one, Tan Tan Men with and without sparerib, as well as Tsukemen version which is dry noodle with soup on the side. Visited during full pandemic with separation between tables, but regardless you should make reservation ahead and it gets full quickly.

Absolutely phenomenal is all I can say. They still have strict COVID-19 protocols, but we arrived right at opening and grabbed a spot. The corn was out of this world, especially after dipping in just a small portion of the pink sea salt. The ramen was delicious, and the shaved pork was a great take on the traditional. I loved the min char sui as well and thought the shoyu sauce sent it over the top. The only thing I wish is that I had more room in my belly so I could finish everything!

Garlic and tantan short rib were both delicious! We also really enjoyed the karaage chicken.

We ordered 2 different ramen. Both were very good. Service was very quick. Price was reasonable. Lots of parking available. We didn’t take pictures of the food, we were starving and started eating as soon as the food arrived. I would recommend it. I have 2 picky teens and they loved it.

Had the veggie ramen, spring rolls, chicken karaage. Got a huge portion of the chicken (took a while to come) with a yummy tangy sauce. The ramen was AMAZING! Super flavorful! The spring rolls were good too (hot and crispy) not as oily as you’d expect. You’ll need to make reservations as they fill up quite fast but the service is quick too so you should be able to get a table with little wait time.

Amazing ramen and amazing service. The broth is as good as I’ve ever had. Noodles done just right. Small intimate dining room that’s with the visit.

Good ramen and service. Just need to work out the kinks for ordering online for the same table and when splitting the bill. Definitely will be back.

Parking is limited, they have an iPad outside to set up reservations. Inside is small but cozy. The food was full of flavor, the broth was very comforting. I had the corn tempura because of the reviews. It was very greasy, I did not like it.

When arriving to the restaurant, make sure you sign in on the tablet to get a table. I ordered Tan Tan Men Ramen with medium spice. The food came out quick, the ramen was awesome and full of flavor & spice.

Wagaya is a must even if the wait is wild. Even if they close at 8pm. As long as you’re on their list before 8pm they will accommodate you! As always the food was wonderful. From the appetizers to the ramen & of course the service everything will have you leaving satisfied. 😋
