Came to eat lunch with the 2 grandkids. Wasn't too busy at all. At least 3 waitresses working. Saw us walk-in and not 1 acknowledged us...never told us "just a minute" or "be right with you"... nothing. Wow...not good for business. Maybe for the best as their AC was out. Never going to this location again!

Worst experience ever. Worst zippys I've ever been to. Was told wait would be a few min we waited 1hr 15 min. After getting to the table we waited 30 min to get served. Then ordering food they didn't have everything that's included in the meal. I just had to laugh then my server told me dont give me a hard time and i was just laughing. Since moving to Hawaii about 3 weeks ago, I have struggled to find food that I enjoy eating until today. We picked up lunch at Zippy’s and I loved and very much enjoy everything we got. Highly recommend it!

Employees are nice but this place can get busy and crowded. Service was okay. Food is yummy and zippys menu is huge! They also do platters and buckets. Malasada is made to order. Definitely good place for a quick bite. Takeout and dine in 🤙👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Poorly water for the portion they had given me for mt order. Barley any tripe in this “tripe stew” very upsetting. Especially because this was on “specialties” , nothing special about this amount.

Wait staff was super friendly! We were seated immediately & our order was taken. Our server returned immediately with our drinks & our meal was delivered shortly thereafter. Everything was hot & fresh! We stopped @ Napoleon's Bakery on the way out & grabbed a variety of pastries! Will definitely be back!

Can be very crowded and hard to find parking but had good food and service. Nice choice that’s open later. Big portion for fair price.

Thanksgiving meal pick up was extremely well organized. Didn't get out of the car, the just loaded up my trunk & I drove off. Super easy & food was excellent. Ate the futomaki on the way home!

Had my Thanksgiving lunch with my aunty & uncle at the Zippy's Waiau, which is like an iconic place here in Hawaii. My uncle ordered a juice with no ice as his teeth is getting too sensitive, but the waitress brought the juice with ice. So he mentioned it nicely and the waitress promptly brought another juice without charging with a very nice & cheerful personality, which my uncle & aunty got all happy about. Moreover, the turkey & ham combo turned out okay so it turned out to be a very good Thanksgiving lunch.

Love their won ton min saimin soup. Yummy chewy noodles with lots of extras. Grabbed a bowl of chili also. Great with onions and shredded cheddar cheese on top. I eat it on top of Saltine crackers.

I have been a longtime supporter of Zippy's, but my online ordering experience was horrible on Memorial Day weekend. I placed an order through the Zippy's app, for pickup at 7:30 AM. We ended up getting to Zippy's Waiau around 7:40 AM, and I proceeded to retrieve my order. The Zippy's staff scrambled to locate it and seemed to find the sticker for the order but then told me it did not get prepared. They blamed the online system, but that was confusing since they seemed to have the sticker listing the items printed out. They told me that they just started to prepare it. I had to wait an additional 10-15 minutes for an order that should have been ready when I got there. They didn't offer me a drink or discount for my time, which did not make me feel like a valued customer. I filled out a survey for my negative mobile order experience and got a canned response back the next day apologizing, but they didn't even include my name in the response. The email said that their managers would review my comments, but I have yet to hear from them. Thanks for the memories Zippy's, your service has gone downhill, and I will be taking my business elsewhere. Next.Stop.NOT ZIPPY'S.

Island classic. Hadn't been to this location in over 30 years. Stopped in to grab a Zip Pac after a night out with friends. Glad to see the place is still going.

We enjoyed the variety of the menu. Lots to choose from. Had a coupon via email for Zipsters. Picked up a limited edition Holo card to ride the rail this weekend for inaugural rides.

Back home after a year and Zippys was my first stop. As always, the food is great and the ladies at the counter were friendly and had no problems when I kept having to ask for condiments even though they got kind of busy. Still sad to see how much the prices went up though since I was a kid.

Great place for family breakfast! Love the variety of choices: fried rice, waffles, crispy hasbrowns, homemade corned beef hash, chili omelette, spam and pancakes! The AC is cold so gotta eat fast so your food doesn’t get cold too, but coffee is topped off frequently. Servers are fast and friendly and service given is always top notch!

I was a bit overwhelmed by the menu and a bit underwhelmed by my food. It's basic fast-food, with a try but nothing I sought out again after the first time. The menu is large but was a bit daunting as a first time visitor. The dining area is a bit dated and the air-conditioning wasn't high enough to make it comfortable inside.

The ac in this restaurant has been broken for months. It's warm with big fans all over the restaurant. Our server, Aracelli, is the best though. She's fast & friendly. She makes sure our food comes fast.

The A/C has been broken for several months. Recommend providing customers with free iced soft drinks! Plus, charge 2% service charge for kitchen.

We ordered the loco moco, ox tail soup and korean chicken and we loovved it! I was surprised at how good the food and the service was! Would definitely dine here again to try other dishes
