A brilliant lookout located a short distance from Honolulu. Under 30 minutes from Waikiki. The views are amazing. It can get very windy and cold up there. Watch your hats and bring a jacket. Well worth the short cold walk. The views on the way up are amazing too.

If you like to experience breathtaking views and see the ocean, this is a great spot while you are visiting Oahu. You definitely will need a car or buy a tour to come to this place. Well worth it to be honest and something you want to experience. There are hikes you can do in this area, be ready to pay for parking if you want to hike. I recommend doing this trip on a weekday versus weekend. Hope you go visit and experience this gorgeous views. #chicosreviews

Amazing look out point go early in the morning to avoid lines in crowds. Lots of history at this site, make sure you look for the sign for the park in Lookout it's right off the highway easy to miss. If you are stopping by with your car full of luggage make sure you lock it at its area is known for people breaking in your car and stealing. Definitely worth the time for the view.

Breathtaking views at Nu’uanu Pali State Wayside. Super windy so don’t wear a hat!! There are wild chickens running around which adds to the experience. You can see so far from this point. A must visit photo opportunity.

One of the best observation points in Oahu. $3 parking - which was available in abundance when we went. It was really windy when we went - not sure if thats normal so best to take a windbreaker or something warm.

Literally breathtaking views! The trade winds roar over the ridge where King Kamehameha won his greatest victory.

One of the best easy view on the island with two hikes nearby including Pali Puka and the Poli notches. Both are challenging but short and offer stunning views.

The Nuʻuanu Pali State Wayside is located approximately 9 km northeast of Honolulu. and offers stunning views of Kaneʻohe, Kailua, Mokoliʻi Island and the inshore fishpond at Kualoa Point from an elevation of approximately 1,400 feet. The Pali Hwy runs in the tunnel just below the lookout. At the southwest exit of the tunnel, you can take Nuuanu Pali Drive to the parking lot at the lookout point.

The view from the lookout is great, as the distance from the parking lot to the lookout is short. Parking is free for Hawaii residents, otherwise it costs $7. The view from the lookout is very good, and it is worth visiting at least once. It is a pity that there are no related tourist attractions.

Get fantastic and sweeping view of the windward side. If you are on your way to or from Lanikai beach, stop here for a refreshing puff of air all around you. and you can spot some big roosters playing around too.

The view was okayish. If you have enjoyed views from other free lookouts, this might not be worth the $3 parking

Oh my God! Some of the best views and I didn't even have to hike or climb anything. One of the coolest things was the hurricane force winds! WOW! It was crazy hard winds... no hats, no umbrellas for sure. Stop by and take some wonderful pictures. I'm not sure if there's any hiking or anything like that, we were there only about 20 minutes. It is beautiful!

It is a well-located look-out site on a cliff, which offers amazingly beautiful panoramic views of the north and northwest areas of Oahu.

(Translated by Google) I like the view of Kailua from here. But I can't see it in Kailua. If anything, Kaneohe. I always feel bad weather here. (Original) ここからのカイルアの景色が好き。 といっても、カイルア方面あんまり見えないな。 どちらかと言えば、カネオヘ。 いつもここだけ天気が悪い気がする。

Very windy. Bring a wind breaker. You have to pay for parking but the charge is minimal and it's totally worth it. It's an easy walk to the lookout point, but it can get cold and windy. Bring jackets for the seniors and the little ones.

Beautiful view of Kaneohe. Paid parking at kiosk. The down Old Pali road is gated off due to falling rocks.

Another great view of the island! There are plenty of parking spaces, but you gotta pay. I love all the greens and blues, it really takes you into the beauty of nature. I got some really pretty photos of hawaii here, but be careful because there are a lot of ants on the walls so if you're going to climb make sure to check before you get stung. This place gets crowded, but for the most part you can always get a great photo if you find the right angles. Definitely check it out!

Okay view. Not sure it's worth the drive up, dealing with the crowds or the price of paying for parking to see it though.

(Translated by Google) Parking fee $3 USD Free for Hawaiian residents The Nu'uanu Pali State Wayside is located northeast of downtown Honolulu and is accessible via Highway 61/Pali Hwy. The Dafengkou belongs to a cornice in the Koolau Mountains. As the name suggests, the wind here is really big, and the things are blown away. Here you can see not only the beautiful scenery of the Klau Mountains, but also the panoramic views of the Windward Coast, such as Kailua, Kaneohe, Hooma. Hoomaluhia Botanical Garden, Mokoli Island/Mokolii, etc. Pali means "cliff" in Hawaiian, and a key battle in the process of unifying the Hawaiian Islands by King Kamehameha I in 1795, when some of the defeated soldiers were there. Jumped off the cliff here. In August 2008, Obama, who was still a senator, came here with his family to enjoy the beauty of the Windward Coast. Special note: There is still a distance between the observation deck and the parking lot, so you must not leave any valuables or suspected valuables in the car. Here, it is quite serious to steal the car's belongings.
