Dr. Monji is one of the worst doctors i’ve ever been to. I have seen her twice and left either very upset, or literally crying. She was rude and condescending and even laughed/shook her head/made snarky faces while i would express concerns. She just seems to be a mean woman and should not be working in such a sensitive specialty where woman have historically been invalidated and dismissed. And i know i am not the only patient to have complaints about her.. If you’re scheduled to see her, do yourself a favor, reschedule.

But the one star is because they do not answer the phones. I am due September 6th in like three days. The obgyn is impossible to get a hold of I’ve called so many times and I asked weeks ago for a direct line to them, they tell you to go through the main number. I was on hold for and hour and then they hung up on me.

So happy with Malama I Ke Ola Health Center. Besides they're so busy and working with a short staff, they are friendly, helpful, kind and really work to help you. I love going there. Unfortunately, appointments are pushed way out, but if they can get you in, they will certainly try. I really appreciate the staff and all the efforts they make to accommodate everyone.

From check in to check out a about a pleasant experience as one could hope for. Professional staff that is well trained and firing on all cylinders. I could choose other places to go for dental work, but this has proven to be the best.

This review is for the Ob/Gyn department. I switched to Malama at 32 weeks pregnant and I'm so glad I did. The providers there are incredibly caring, warm and I never felt rushed at my appointments. I highly recommend Dr Casey and Heather Milovina - they are both incredible, so competent and skilled and kind. Out of the 6 providers, I felt totally comfortable with 5 out of 6 of them - which is pretty great! I gave birth a few weeks ago and had a very positive experience thanks to the wonderful people at Malama. Dr Casey was my doctor who delivered my baby, and I felt 100% confident and comfortable with him, knowing I was in great hands. Heather was there the next day, which was great, because I was seeing her the most during my prenatal visits (she is an incredible midwife), and she has a wonderful presence about her - she cares so much about her patients, and you feel completely comfortable in her care. I would highly recommend Malama if you are pregnant, I think they are the best on the island as far as prenatal care and caring about women's birth experiences.

Frustrated with receptionists. Messed up my appointments two times, which hey I get, we are all human, but the lack of accountability is off the charts. Keep blaming me somehow - maybe I should have not made the appointment at that time (I didn’t they changed it for me last min) the attitude is disrespectful. Nothing but good things to say about the doctors on my end. The receptionists obviously are snickering and talking negatively about me as a patient , all chiming in. Very unprofessional.

I thank the staff for their their services and providing professional medical advise to patients. But one thing I think that needs to be change is the appointment process, does a patient have to wait for a month, 2 months to visit this this clinic again? This needs to be improved in my opinion. What happen to the human right on better access to health? He was given a week for his appointment, and the clinic was aware the patient was very sick. We could not wait that long, but to see another hospital. Personally, I think the clinic should better and if the health professionals are going to do a job, do it right.

Came on time and didn’t call me and I was waiting for about an hr and began to feel very disappointed because I’m pregnant and dr.monji is my DR. Thank God for reviews on Dr.monji I learned that she’s the worse dr and I then walked my way out and rescheduled. UGH!

Terrible! A lady by the name Albi or Ally (sorry if spelled wrong) acted like she was a medical doctor. I tried making an appointment for a Rhogam shot and she kept telling me I’m not confirmed for my pregnancy. I’ve done an ultra sound there and I kept telling her that I needed to make an appointment for a Rhogam shot because I’ll be 28 weeks soon. She told me that it wasn’t her problem. She hung up me twice. I had to go into the clinic to make a report on her. Apparently she works for the call center. We know you are busy and overwhelmed but you’re working in the wrong department. If you can’t handle your position go find a job that you can. Stop acting high on your horse like you KNOW EVERYTHING and get assistance to the questions I was asking. Don’t just think you know because the records. Lemme tell you, when I went into the clinic to make an appointment they were confused as to why Albi couldn’t just give me an appointment. It’s because she thinks she has authority. This call center woman doesn’t realize that if she messes with the wrong patient she could have a lawsuit against her and the whole clinic! Probably would’ve been different if I was her family then she would’ve hopped, jumped, and skipped to pull strings.

The only dentist I can afford on Maui, and they're excellent! Hard to get an appointment (3-4 months out) but they have emergency services.

The staff at the Clinic were pleasant in the face of a madhouse. The walk in clinic at Malama Iki Ola is the only Dental option for people with HMSA QUEST BLUE CROSS, MEDICAID. They are very nearly overwhelmed. Maui desperately needs more dentists to take State Insurance so that people can be proactive with there health instead of of standing in line with ice bags tied to there heads as I was yesterday. They handled the situation with grace. My Doctor Paul had me in the chair for one and one half hours getting all the pieces of a badly decade molar out of my jaw. He was superb, and may God Bless Him and all the good people at Malama Iki Ola.

Everyone at Malama dentistry is wonderful. From the front desk to the assistants/ dentist on staff each person is friendly and helpful. We are very well taken care of here.

Dental Specialist Allison was very polite and a wealth of knowledge when asked , “I’m kind of nervous with needles will it hurt” she assured my confidence, it didn’t hurt. Before I knew the cleaning was complete and efficient. A for the day Allison. Aloha to the staff for showing aloha!

I always walk out with a smile after going to Malama I Ke Ola Dentist office.. truly wonderful staff. Everyone is friendly and courteous. Everyone who works there smiles (even though they have a mask on you can see the smile in their eyes). They are professional and have a great new equipment. I highly recommend them to you.!

My 6 year old son needed 3 teeth extracted and the dentist was so friendly and walked me and my son through the process. The dental assistant was very kind. I really would recommend this dental office

Dr. Jason is an awesome dentist. He made me very comfortable and I could tell her really cared about me as a patient.

I'm really grateful for having this dental option in Maui. Prices are low, it takes a long time to get an appointment, but the service is really good. They are very good professionals.

The entire staff starting at checking in, to the assistant taking X-rays, to the doctors examination, back to the gals at check out were absolutely superb. I dislike doing X-rays, it's very uncomfortable for me, but the assistant was amazing, cause the X-rays went smoothly. Thank you all so much.
