👍👍 Nice free open-air museum with a giant chimney, train cars and pieces of the old sugar mill. Worth a visit for some good photo opportunities and to read about the history of the area. People often mention history,

The locomotives and machine parts are very cool. The history of the mill is interesting to read about. We spent about 30 minutes here. The engraved donor bricks around the smoke stack are fun to read too.

Pretty good history here. Coffee drive tour is closed due to fears of Beatle infestation.

When I first moved here the mill was still in operation, and a few friends worked there... The chimney was left after the mill was torn down, and you could purchase bricks at the base and have names printed on them...

This is not a museum but history. They have plaques detailing on sugar cane harvesting. The smoke stack has been there over 100 years.

If you enjoy knowing what was or just history in general this and many other places on Maui are good destinations to see during your trip. Also for those of you that are new to boating this is one of the few structures that stand as high as it does and because of that fact it makes it a great navigational point. Please have fun and take home some of the best memories of your life while you're here on Maui Island,.. also please do your best to respect her. Aloha & Mahalo.

History is my favorite subject. This place offers you an insight into life on Maui from 1860 to 1999 when the mill closed.
