This place is awesome. Super friendly staff. Fair prices. Fun brunch options! The thick cut bacon was great. The purple sweet potato chicken and waffles were amazing (comes with an ube syrup on the side). The poi mochi chicken and waffles were also great! Heads up: the chicken was heavily friend. The meals were dense. Highly recommend this place!

Great food, at a decent price! You can't go wrong with whatever you decide, to eat that day. Just remember that they're only open until 3:00pm daily. Depending on you're appetite, they make a "broke da mouth" prime rib and they're seared ahi is also a winner. They also have a top shelf mixed plate with either prime rib, crab legs, or lobster ( pick any 2 ). for $32.00. Give it a try!!

My friend and I were visiting Honolulu and we ended up grabbing breakfast here 3 times because we loved it so much! The people are great and the food was to die for. I got the loco Moco, alfredo omelette and garlic shrimp.

Super tasty brunch with unique items! A little busy Sunday morning and had a bit trouble finding parking since the plaza parking was full. Highly recommend the purple sweet potato waffle.

Great brunch spot during our trip. I rarely get to eat Filipino food so I enjoyed their longsilog. Their crab cake benedict was good. Unreal Ube pancakes. Friendly and attentive service. Definitely a spot Iโ€™d recommend to family and friends travelling to Oahu!

๐Ÿ˜‹, We ordered whole Lobster ๐Ÿฆž, crab๐Ÿฆ€ cake, Benedict breakfast & their purple pancake ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ. so far many other people say they are great ๐Ÿ‘. But for us the Lobster ๐Ÿฆžwas over Cooked period and very very salty ๐Ÿง‚ ๐Ÿง‚ ๐Ÿง‚. Even though they gave us special daily promotion 50% off still it's not worth. Only the purple pancake ๐Ÿฅž was great ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’Ÿ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿฅž !!! Over all it's too pricey for us. Plus we had to wait for 45 minutes that did not include a 15-minute wait for the parking spot. By the way this is my 1st time trying. ๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿ’ซ See my photos.

Food was excellent and service was great. Menu read like a fine dining restaurant and the food presentation was very appealing. The portions size for the prices were way better than a local restaurant that starts with a "'Z. Lol! I will go there again and tell all my friends about this hidden gem. Thank you for this great dining experience. As a Chef I've worked at many high-end restaurants. I'd like to say, do what you guys are doing and stay consistent. Good Job to Guieb Cafe and Crew!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Bravo!!! ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘

Was in the area and decided to drop in with my family. What a great meal we had. Everyone's food was fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend and eat here again. The Philly Cheesesteak and Kalihifornia Burger (pictured) were some the dishes we tried.

Weโ€™ve lived here for 2 years now and weโ€™ve found itโ€™s been difficult to find a restaurant with great customer service and amazing food that actually comes out steaming hot. Iโ€™ve been to both locations and each time has been amazing. Get the ube pancakes!! Everyone was so nice and our coffee cups were never empty. Thank you!!

A part of me didnโ€™t want to write this review because I donโ€™t want other people to discover how amazing this place is and make it a tourist trap. The food was SO good! The best we had our entire trip. The staff was nice, super friendly. Food was amazing with large portions. We got the Oreo and ube pancakes. Sad we discovered it on one of our last days there or else we would have been there every day!

Amazing island-inspired food! We showed up without reservations for Sunday brunch and it was an hour wait. Make reservations unless you donโ€™t mind waiting! Service was excellent. Prices are very reasonable. Plenty of free parking.

We drove a little further from Waikiki for this since food tend to be less touristy and reasonably priced away. This spot has a parking lot and for a Thursday it had quite a full house but we got seated upon arrival before the lunch rush. We went for the typical Mauka & Makai moco and ube pancakes with a POG juice on the side. Everything was so delicious, we ate it all! The mascarpone on the pancake was great and definitely recommend each bite with it smothered all over. Pancakes were well made and definitely better eaten fresh and warm. The Mauka & Makai was my favorite of the two, though I didnโ€™t taste much of the crab cake. Savory goodness of the gravy that made the dish and craving for more right now. Total was around $45 (with tips). Highly recommend and I totally want to return and try other dishes! They all sounded so good. Service was also super friendly.

So delicious!!! Very welcoming and clean! It was so hard to pick what to get and was the most reasonable prices! I had the Luau waffle benie special with tricolor potatoes and will be coming back for the ube waffles and one of the traditional Filipino breakfasts!

Had a great experience here. So many yummy, unique, and fun options to choose from. I got a waffle w/ berries and my boyfriend got an omelet w/ a side of bacon and we were both very impressed. Only disappointment was lack of coffee-drink options. Flowers are a WONDERFUL touch. Happy that there's parking and grateful that we found seating, since the establishment is quite small.

AWESOME food!!! The thick bacon is amazing. I had the pork belly bao Benedict, friends had crab & shrimp Alfredo omelet (left) and local omelet (right). Unpictured was loco moco and chicken and waffles. Would recommend calling for reservations - we got lucky but next time Iโ€™ll call to make sure I donโ€™t miss out

Iโ€™m so happy we stopped here on our way to north shore from Honolulu! The staff was so friendly and the food was huge portions and so much flavor! Every bite was heaven. We had the Mauka & Makai Moco and the adobo fried rice with longanisa. Favorite was definitely the moco but the omelette was delicious as well. Will definitely be back next Oahu trip

What an authentic and fun dining experience. If you want to try some authentic local cuisine, this is the place! The portions are insane!! The vibe is completely local, clean, and unpretentious. The food was delicious. I spent the whole time watching what everyone else in the restaurant ordered, and every plate was amazing to look at. Go at happy hour for 15% off your meal. The only downside is that they might sell out of a particular meal. I would pick this spot over a downtown restaurant any day of the week. Give this place a try and say hi to Ramie in the process. Ordered the special Turkey leg. Yum. And each part is better than the last. Each bite was better than the last. The turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry, and back to the turkey to repeat. So delicious. Tender and juicy, salty and smoky. Only was able to eat half of the leg, but all of the sides.

If you haven't tried Guieb's Cafe, you definitely have to try them! I wanted to try like 9 things for breakfast! I had to settle for 2 and shared my Ube Mascarpone Pancakes and braised rib eye eggs Benedict (TO DIE FOR) and my husband had the Prime rib Loco with fried rice... and let me tell you! It was all so so delicious! The service was outstanding as well and I am definitely going back!!

  • 5/5 Alex P. 6 months ago on Google
Went here based on a YouTube video review I saw and glad I did! This seems to be a local favorite for sure. I had the prime rib loco mock with Portuguese fried rice and wow it was good!! Huge 10oz+ prime rib that was very tasty, good gravy. Family also had the Ube mascarpone pancakes and Oreo pancakes. The Oreo was a little over the top and my girls didnโ€™t eat much of it but the Ube mascarpone was great!! Very friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend!!

Stopped by here for breakfast on Tuesday around 9am before our trip to north shore and was very glad we did! There wasnโ€™t a wait and we were able to get seated right away. We ordered the ube mascarpone pancakes, fruity pebble french toast, and built our own omelette. Each dish looked spectacular and tasted just as delicious. Highly recommend trying the ube mascarpone pancakes if you are into a sweet breakfast and enjoy ube flavored treats. When it comes to value, the portions were very large and the prices were very fair in my opinion. In comparison to more expensive eats around the heart of Waikiki, the food and experience here far exceeded most Iโ€™ve tried so far! The service staff were also very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Overall, we enjoyed our meal here and Iโ€™d consider this to be one of my favorite food places so far out of the 20 or so locations weโ€™ve tried in the last 5-6 days!

Tasty local food made with ALOHA! Make sure to get there early because they can fill up fast! But don't worry, you can always order takeout as well.

Wow! Never disappointed, finally tried a new dish. The eggs benedict with sweet potato fries is so good but today I tried the fried chicken. Ended up with a mound of delicious crispy chicken pieces with a really nice chopped imitation crab salad and veggies. I also really enjoy the pecan strawberry salad.

First time u tried this place today. Did a phone order takeout for a GC mix plate. The customer service over the phone was professional and polite. The location was very very clean and comfortable. The food was fantastic. Teriyaki prime rib, crispy fried shrimp and chicken, sautรฉed veggies even spam. I loved it all.

  • 3/5 Kevin A. 3 years ago on Google
It was ok. They sell a philly cheese steak w no steak. ๐Ÿค” Had adobo fried rice omolette and lechon kawali that were ok. Came out to $40 for 3 plates and a side fried chicken which I thought was kinda steep for what you get.

Friendly staff, clean location, and good food. Menu is small but adequate for a breakfast/lunch restaurant. Prices are very reasonable.

Had the poi mochi waffle and bao Benedict with hash browns, on the other table the prime rib loco Moco looked really good. Next time will ask to do the waffle extra crispy since I like to drown it with the haupia syrup...had a slight taste like kulolo with the syrup so recommend if you like that taste. Lots of people doing takeout since place only has about 5 tables and due to social distancing you can imagine very limited seating call ahead to make sure a table is available if you are set on dining inside. very safety oriented and already compliant with takeout packaging no styrofoam or plastic bags. super busy getting the family packs for Christmas Eve take out ready. Since grandma with me they gave senior discount, they are so nice people. Air conditioning is pretty strong so bring jacket if you cannot handle like grandma. Appreciate the unique menu options.

Great service and even better food! Had the crab cake benny with side portuguese sausage. The benny was killer and the sausage was unlike anything I had but it was so good that I forgot to take a pic. Other half had the garlic shrimp and was very comparable to the shrimp trucks on island but great nonetheless. Will be back to try their prime rib as it was sold out before we got there. Check em out! They deserve it

Primarily a breakfast diner, Guieb Cafe specializes in local morning and lunch plate lunches. The presentation of the plate lunches is definitely upscale,...served with a fresh orchid,..and the menu selection is definitely ecliptic. The Bao Bun Benedict and Ribeye Loco Moco are really good, but don't forget their Fried Chicken and Belgium Waffle. The prices are very reasonable. Try 'em!
