Came
in
for
a
skin
condition.
Dr.
Malia
Lee
was
nice,
seemed
very
caring.
She
addressed
my
concern,
and
left
the
room
for
me
to
get
changed
into
a
gown
for
an
examination
and
told
me
she
would
come
back.
I
didn’t
think
the
examination
was
necessary,
I
just
wanted
to
do
testing,
the
nurse
and
medical
assistant
said
I
could
swab
myself,
which
I
agreed
to,
but
asked
if
I
could
still
see
Dr.
Lee
again.
They
told
me
“is
there
a
message
I
can
pass
on”
and
from
there
I
already
knew
they
weren’t
going
to
let
me
see
her
again.
I
said
that
I
would
like
to
be
treated
empirically
for
what
I
thought
I
had.
The
medical
assistant
and
nurse
both
talk
to
each
other
outside
the
room
and
they
come
back
and
say
“you’ll
get
your
results
and
depending
on
it,
we’ll
treat
you
from
there”.
They
did
not
even
consult
my
doctor
and
made
the
medical
decision
themselves
because
it
seemed
like
they
were
busy
and
needed
the
room
for
someone
else.
I
get
it,
urgent
care
is
like
the
speed
dating
of
health
care,
but
I
waited
for
2
hours
just
to
be
seen
for
5
minutes.
What’s
worse
is
the
medical
assistant
and
nurse
were
trying
to
get
me
out
of
there
when
I
still
had
concerns
for
my
health.
I
work
in
healthcare
myself
and
always
try
to
do
my
best
when
it
comes
to
patient
care….
If
someone
tells
you
that
they
want
to
speak
to
their
doctor
again,
it’s
because
they
genuinely
are
concerned
for
their
health,
which
I
was,
and
was
left
with
a
condition
that
could’ve
been
easily
treated.
Maybe
the
doctor
would’ve
said
the
same
thing
as
the
nurse
and
medical
assistant
that
she
would
treat
me
only
after
knowing
the
results,
but
what
I
had
was
pretty
obvious
and
I’m
sure
Dr.
Lee
would’ve
considered
treating
empirically,
but
I’ll
never
know
since
I
never
had
that
chance
to
speak
with
her
again
that
day.
Literally
felt
like
I
was
being
kicked
out.
