Gym

👍 I enjoy coming here, as it's a nice newish gym, very clean and good AC. Staff is friendly and don't bother you. Lots of machines, lots of silent TV's to look at while on the machines. Lots of equipment in the back room...huge indoor basketball court (hot though, not connected to AC). I have a few... People often mention equipment, clean, great, staff, machines,

Great gym, a lot of machines and free weights. Hours are good, from 4 or so AM till 5 PM, with a 2 hr closure midday for covid cleaning.

I enjoy coming here, as it's a nice newish gym, very clean and good AC. Staff is friendly and don't bother you. Lots of machines, lots of silent TV's to look at while on the machines. Lots of equipment in the back room...huge indoor basketball court (hot though, not connected to AC). I have a few issues that I feel it's important to bring up, however. A lot of the equipment (exercise bikes, ellipticals, etc) are very old and not in great condition. All of them still have that Apple "30-pin to USB" cable sticking out of the display. The 30-pin connector was discontinued in 2014. This tells you how old the equipment is. I only bring this up because on every single exercise bike and elliptical I've used, the internal batteries are dead, meaning that when you pause for more than 5 seconds, the machine shuts off and you lose your miles/time/calories, etc! Also, a lot of the foot straps are broken, making it hard to keep your feet on the pedal. I'm not faulting the staff, I know they have a budget and have to keep the equipment they have. Overall, its a great gym, and I enjoy coming here. Best gym on Oahu, great staff; always courteous and helpful. Weight equipment seems to all be great. They even have a sauna.

Very good medium-sized gym. Machines are usually clean, very little/short wait times for equipment early in the morning or after 1 pm. Not a great variety in exercise equipment but the basics are covered. There’s a room to stretch/yoga, etc. and you can always head to the back of the gym to get a outdoor HIIT session in. Nice basketball court as well. Employees seem to care about the gym maintenance and are helpful if you have any questions. There is a schedule of classes for Kettlebells, HIIT, etc. during the weekdays.

This place is amazing. Their equipment and facility are very well maintained. Their staff is super friendly.

Not crowded at all. I really like that they limit the number of people to 35 and the equipment is roped off so people aren't right next to each other.

This gym isn't little small, but it offers a lot in quality. You got a good amount of cardio machines in the front, resistance machines in the middle, free weights past that, a crossfit station in the back with some cool equipment and a huge room for class activities. The locker rooms are small, open bay showers, small sauna (3 person max) and no towel service. No complaints about this place.

Great gym. I go there to play basketball at lunchtime every day. Downside is the locker room is super tiny. Barley any room to get dressed.

Very clean, large variety of equipment, to include HITT locker and basketball quart. Currently has Covid precautions in place.

The gym is great but how are you going to tell a grown adult they can't wear a hat in the gym? Why? It's a gym, not a fancy restaurant. How does wearing a hat hurt you?

One of the best military gyms on the island and one of my favorite gyms to go to. They have all the equipment you need, great views, friendly staff, clean and modern facilities. Not very crowded. I would have given this gym 4 or 5 stars except there is no parking during business hours (being utilized by base staff) and the employee issuing base passes was absolutely terrible to deal with. She snatched my documents out of my hand, was condescending with every comment, when finished side eyed me and slammed my papers on the counter. As I left I realized she mislabeled my vehicle but she had already locked the door behind me. I would recommend going all the way to Kbay to avoid her prior. Before getting a pass this was my absolute favorite gym.

Definitely an awesome gym! I don’t know if I just miss the busy times, but there’s usually not a waiting period for stuff. (cardio, anyway lol) Not as crowded in the evenings as some other gyms seem to be, and the fact that it’s at Camp Smith means less people! But the staff is wonderful at maintaining everything and keeping it clean for us.

In my 38 plus years of military and government service I think this is the best fitness facility staff I've met.

Best gym I've been to in a while. Staff keeps this place super clean and tidy. All machines work well and seem to be maintained. The dry sauna is a big plus.

Never too busy, has all the equipment you need. Way better than going to a gym in town or at Pearl Harbor. Downside, if you go after 6am and before noonish, parking might be hard

Love this gym! It’s small but fully equipped, very clean, and never crowded. I use to go to 24 hours fitness but this gym is a total game changer. And my Job is next door.

Best military gym in the area hands down. Great equipment, super clean, not usually busy. Parking is difficult but there is always space above the gym lot.
