Yoga
Awareness
is
like
a
hidden
gem
among
yoga
studios.
Here,
I
finally
feel
like
i’m
practicing
‘authentic’
yoga.
They
follow
a
lineage
where
yoga
is
more
one-on-one,
where
the
group
classes
are
small
and
there’s
more
individual
attention.
They
continuously
stress
awareness
of
the
breath
and
movement,
which
makes
the
asanas
more
enjoyable
and
interesting
to
do.
Without
this
awareness,
we’re
just
going
through
the
motions!
Now,
my
chronically
stiff
neck
is
looser
and
my
back
is
feeling
sturdier.
After
years
of
both
fatigue
and
frazzled
nerves,
I’m
now
having
more
days
of
calm
energy.
My
friends
and
I
each
have
had
“aha”
moments
in
class,
and
we
leave
class
energized,
centered,
and
grateful.
The
trainings
bring
you
to
another
level
of
awareness
and
understanding
of
what
yoga
can
do
for
you.
And
you
don’t
have
to
be
flexible
or
young
to
do
these
trainings!
You
are
taught
to
recognize
where
your
limits
are
and
then
learn
how
to
safely
go
deeper
from
there.
I’m
learning
to
let
go
of
some
of
the
habits
and
concepts
picked
up
from
previous
yoga
classes,
and
I’m
experiencing
a
new
stability,
ease
and
grace
of
movement.
Even
with
challenging
poses
where
I
feel
stiff,
they
teach
how
to
go
deeper
and
experience
the
subtle
movements.
Tedd
is
a
sincere,
dedicated
yoga
teacher
and
Ayurvedic
practitioner
and
his
treatments
are
effective
and
deep.
I
now
see
what
Ayurveda
can
do,
beyond
diet
and
herbal
supplements.
With
Ayurveda
and
yoga,
my
fatigue
has
been
greatly
reduced
and
I
have
a
new
sense
of
well-being.
Masumi
is
a
bright
spirit
and
a
beautiful,
caring
yoga
teacher.
I
learn
a
lot
just
from
watching
her
graceful
movements.
They
both
are
dedicated
to
living
the
principles
of
yoga
and
Ayurveda
and
sharing
these
teachings.
Mahalo
and
arigato
to
Tedd
and
Masumi!
