I have a membership issue regarding my plan that I purchased. I have followed-up with the gym numerous times and they tell me they will reach back to me within a week. Every time they have said that, it was not true. Management has zero care about resolving customer issues and hope you will go way. I recommend to position yourself to leave the gym for another gym if you run into issues. READ BELOW IF YOU PLAN TO USE MULTIPLE UFC GYMS. I prepaid for a 3-year membership when things were opening back up. As I was shopping through plans, I wanted something that allows me to use the membership on the mainland. I purchased a 3-year membership for $1000, thinking it was a sweet deal that would fit my needs as I travel for work and live in Hawaii. Turns out, my membership is not accepted in certain parts of the mainland, after being assured it would be. I have addressed this issue to this gym, other gyms who will not accept my membership, and cooperate. No one has yet to reach back to me. I highly recommend to not accept prepaid memberships, no matter how good it seems – especially if you plan to use other ufc gyms. My issue has been going on for month and still not resolved and not one person has contacted me, it’s always me following up. It is hugely unfortunate that I must give this company the lowest rating possible and inform others of the possible terrible customer service you may experience with management (not the workers). I really like the ufc gyms and the people working there, but their management has demonstrated appalling customer service - especially their inaction.

Very poor experience here with the staff/management. I keep getting ignored and it's exhausting. The coaches for the classes I was able to attend were great however. I would caution others to be very careful here with the manipulative sales practice. Once you sign those papers they no longer care about you

Usually chill clientele and clean equipment. But on rare occasion you might get yelled at and threatened for asking someone to pull their mask up while they work out near you (supposedly gym policy). The manager, is nice but doesn’t seem interested in making sure her gym’s public health policies are followed (which I guess is a plus if you don’t like masks) and will be nice to the point of doing nothing when employees (specifically Cameron who essentially told me he worked there so masks didn’t matter for him) wave off concerns about their own mask and that of the screaming man throwing sweat on you while threatening your partner and for some reason ranting about how his gains are natural and that if you care about masks and are a weak [removed so Google doesn’t flag this] you should work out at Planet Fitness. Cameron repeatedly muttered dismissively and rudely at me while walking past me and avoiding doing the right thing. I was respectful the entire time and was only asking for people to follow the guidelines the gym had set up. Cameron shook the hand of the customer screaming at me and did nothing to de-escalate the situation-he made it worse. The manager apologized and said she “agreed with me completely” and “wished there was something she could do” but did nothing to make sure her employee and the aggressive customer followed what the gym says is required to workout there. At least she let my partner and I cancel our memberships without issue and fees. If you have sound or temperature sensory needs, I recommend going earlier in the morning (6-8am) before the bass in the remixes make noise-cancelling headphones useless and before the circulation of the air is non-existent. If none of the above matters for you other than the equipment, it’s great outside of peak hours (5-7ish pm). And watch out for fight nights as people will sit on the benches to watch the fights and not lift.

I’ve recently signed up here and things been going pretty good I’m a single father and I bring my son to the child care here. The process is new to me here so I’m still getting acquainted here. It’s been only a week so far. The child care is awesome and they charge additional $4 per day with is great. Like I mentioned I’m only a week here so the payment for the childcare is made in the main gym while you need to take the receipt to the childcare additionally. At time I do pay extra and have even ask to tip but they said that do do tips. Here and there I for get to turn the receipt to the child care and has caused so. Confusion. How ever today the “Operation manager” a heavyset lady calls for you to the front via intercom and the first word she tell Me befor even introducing her self is Quote-“I HEARD YOU ARE NOT PAYIMG THE CHILDCARE” very rude and brazenly disrespectful. As I’m trying to explain to her how I paid in cash on 7/6/23 she just disregard anything I have to say and very nonchalantly insist that I did not pay. Apparently the records of me paying in cash was not recorded and I asked if she could go back to the camera but she continued to insult me i about my abilly to pay. Just straight accusations and not even try to get to the bottom of the fact that I told her I did pay. Like a MANAGER should . She’s more like a bully and an accuser. Now I feel like the whole staff here as the deforming out look on me now and i am said to say h just after a week I am no longer comfortable at this establishment

I wish I could give these crooks 0 starts. They will still charge you 3 months after you cancel your membership. Terrible. Even after I got a email from Them stating they wontbCharge me anymore they still do. I had to cancel my card and dispute the charges with my bank.

Overall it’s a nice gym. However Management is very rude. I asked for assistance from the operations manager Kilo or Hilo I think her name is. She refused to help me. She had the worst attitude like I put her on the schedule to work. It was horrible I’ve referred 3 people to this gym. Never again. I’m at canceling my membership because I do not want someone like that having access to my account. I will also be making sure my husband cancels his membership along with our friends since we can all go to the gym on base for free. No need to pay money to have horrible customer service.

I’m usually not one to write reviews but I was recently on vacation in Hawaii and stopped by the UFC gym in Waikele. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming… especially Chris and Kaigua (hope I spelled that correctly). Walking into a new gym can be intimidating but both of them took the time to chat and really make me at home. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to train due to time but I did get some merchandise before leaving. This was a stark contrast between the UFC Gym in Honolulu. I walked in and nobody seemed interested in saying hello before I did.. the staff behind the reception were very cold, disinterested, and definitely not welcoming.. in the end, I didn’t feel comfortable and I left. I wasn’t going to go to into another UFC gym after that experience, but I’m glad I did. UFC Waikele can have my money instead. If you’re new in town and wanting somewhere to train, definitely go to UFC Waikele! P.s. It was also no surprise to me that I lately found out Chris was the ju-jitsu coach at Waikele and Kai also a BJJ competitor. Ju-jitsu sure has an interesting way of creating nicer more humble people..

We were visiting from Australia, and checked out a few of the UFC gyms around Oahu. This gym by far had the friendliest staff, in particular Kaigua (hope I am spelling his name correctly!) whose friendliness & customer service was one of the best we have experienced on our trip! Would highly recommend checking out this gym!

Dunno what it is but after a week of working out here most of males (20s-30s) become professional bodybuilders posing in the mirror with tank tops (hilarious). Aside from this, the gym is great w/ friendly staff.

Good gym but expensive. Take a class to get your money's worth. If you don't take a class you'll be better off paying for a membership at 24 hour fitness. I like UFC gym waikele because it is in a convenient location for me and I am able to get workouts done during crowded times.

Great gym with pretty clean equipment, not too crowded. But the music is atrocious. Imagine feeding a hyperactive 8 year old enough caffeine to incapacitate an elephant and then letting them loose inside of a circus, their playlists would be the soundtrack to this situation.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with the managers, staff, and my trainer, TJ, at the UFC gym Waikele. From the moment I started working with him, my fitness journey has been nothing short of transformative. His dedication, expertise, and personalized approach have truly set him apart as an exceptional personal trainer. TJ is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about fitness. His workouts are challenging, yet always engaging and fun, and they never fail to motivate and push me to reach new heights. His holistic approach has helped me make sustainable changes in my daily habits, leading to significant improvements in my strength, endurance, and overall well-being. What truly sets TJ apart is his unwavering support and genuine care for his clients. His positive attitude and commitment to helping me succeed have been instrumental in keeping me motivated and accountable. This gym has been amazing. UFC has 4 locations and they all have great equipment. Everything you can think you need and Multiple versions to suit your taste of equipment. I especially love the Waikele location. Its convenient with great coaches and has an amazing staff. For our time here it was the best choice and I can't say enough good things about the UFC gyms and Waikele specifically.

This review is specifically for Kyle in the recovery department. He found the pain points in my back and how my hips are over compensating for my underdeveloped glutes. Don’t give up on that injury! Go see Kyle, he will set up a plan to give you hope again.

The employees and management at this location are consistently unfriendly and unprofessional. Parking is usually very difficult to find at this location as well. Not very military friendly in our experience either.

Doing a free trail for a month- best decision ever. My only regret- not doing this way sooner! It's super chill, convenient, friendly personable staff. Not much of a problem getting on the equipment, a variety of classes to join morning and evening. It has my motivation in overdrive! 🏃‍♀️🏋‍♀️🤼‍♂️ Thanks UFC and my personal trainer, Angel!!! She's awesome!! 👍🙂 check them out!!

Very insightful, and helpful staff! They helped me sort out my membership, gave me great tips around the snack bar on what to get for myself, and were all around respectful. The equipment was kept up, and the general community there cares about cleanliness and wipe down machines. Not to mention the need for headphones is almost non-existent; whoever handles the gym's playlist has stellar taste haha. All around, best Gym to spend your workout at.

During my one-on-one sessions, Coach not only shows me the correct form and critiques my form, but can point out all the minute changes to make if I'm not feeling the targeted muscle group for that exercise. And with every passing day, the exercises are different or made more challenging by being chained together or done with more weight. It's this sort of attention to detail and variety to keep my interest that makes me feel I will reach my goals.

GM of waikele Carie or Carry, whichever spelling it is, she had such amazing communication and customer service. Our conversation, in regards to helping me out with the type of membership I have as well as upgrading, made my day twice as better. Manager Carie is the perfect example of professionalism and very kind and sweet. I can tell she works very hard in dealing with members and just in general! By far the best experience I’ve had with ufc gyms aside from when I first signed up. The company is very lucky to have her on board she is amazing at what she does! Thank you for your top of the line customer service today I appreciate you for your help! FRICKEN SMILEY FACE EMOJI💪🏾😁😁😁

Pretty great, lookout for peak hours cause you may have to wait for more popular machines like lat pull downs and what not. Great atmosphere and music. Way better than the base gyms even at peak hours you can be in and out pretty quick.

I just completed three months, 2 times a week, of personal training at UFC Waikele. Anna was an amazing coach! She was very helpful and listened to what I wanted. But she also gave a lot of really helpful suggestions. She was motivating without being too pushy. I’m so glad that I invested in getting a coach to help me get comfortable in the gym. I was nervous at first but Anna helped me learn how to enjoy my workouts. I had done home workouts, yoga and barre classes, as well as played tennis before this so I wasn’t necessarily new to working out. But I wanted to learn more about strength training and powerlifting and now I actually feel so much stronger! I started off with pretty much zero lifting experience so I didn’t think I’d be able to lift so much in such a short amount of time. She really helped me learn good form so I don’t hurt myself and also taught me how to program my workouts on my own. As a baker, my job is very labor intensive and she even gave me advice for how to move and deal with pains from being on my feet all day. I really really wish I could afford to continue. Even though it was a big investment for me, I am so happy that I went through with it and I 10/10 recommend that anyone does it too! Anna was so awesome! Whether you’re new to the gym, need suggestions on how to overcome hurdles, or just need someone to check your form, UFC is super helpful! Definitely request Anna if you can!

Really good facility! Recommend any gym goers. Only thing is that the deadlift platforms are all warped to the point that you will be doing deficit deadlifts. You can though lift on the rubber matting, the staff are aware that the platforms are deformed. Wish it also had a sauna like the other UFC’s.
