Did
the
North
Shore
Adventure
tour
recently
and
would
not
recommend
it.
The
only
real
attraction
on
the
tour
was
the
Waimea
Falls
and
we
spent
an
hour
or
so
there
(for
reference
the
entire
tour
took
~8
hours
from
pickup
to
drop
off).
The
bulk
of
the
time
was
spent
riding
around
the
island
in
the
tour
bus
which
was
pretty
cramped
and
not
very
well
cleaned/
sanitized).
The
tour
guide
did
provide
some
helpful
information
about
the
island.
We
stopped
at
multiple
farms
that
sold
coffee
or
macadamia
nuts
-
there
was
not
much
to
do
or
see
at
those
farms
so
the
main
point
was
probably
to
induce
purchases.
Although
masks
were
required
on
the
bus,
for
some
reason
the
tour
guide
was
not
wearing
a
mask.
Several
of
the
passengers
were
not
wearing
their
masks
consistently
and
there
were
extended
periods
of
time
when
their
masks
were
completely
off.
Lunch
wasn’t
included
in
the
cost
of
the
tour,
which
would
have
been
fine
except
the
place
we
were
brought
to
for
lunch
was
definitely
overpriced
and
not
great
quality.
The
shrimp
didn’t
seem
super
fresh
and
was
overcooked.
The
peel
was
still
on
so
it
was
a
hassle
to
eat.
The
tour
was
supposed
to
include
a
visit
to
Sunset
Beach
but
we
were
told
it
was
no
longer
on
the
itinerary
during
the
tour.
Had
we
known
prior
to
departure
we
would
not
have
participated
in
the
tour
at
all.
Overall
the
tour
was
not
nearly
as
fun
or
satisfying
as
the
Groupon
marketing
made
it
seem.
Considering
the
limited
amount
of
time
we
had
to
spend
on
our
trip
to
Hawaii,
the
fact
that
we
wasted
so
much
time
on
this
tour
bothered
me
more
than
anything
else.
Bottom
line
is
rent
a
car
if
you
want
to
see
the
North
Shore.
