My wife and I booked this tour on our stay at the Hilton Waikiki Beach. It was a great day trip around the island. Lola was our driver and guide. She was excellent. Her energy throughout the day and knowledge about Hawaiian history was amazing. A great fun day and made better by Lola’s humour and dealing with all the people in the tour. Thank you Lola.

My parents and I took the Grand Circle Island and Haleiwa 9-hour tour on Wednesday, May 4, 2022. Marlon was our tour guide. Marlon was right on time picking us up in downtown Waikiki and was very clear in communicating our next stops, timing, and where we would go after picking everyone up. He was very friendly and I could tell upon meeting him that he has a great sense of humor. During the tour, he provided anecdotal stories about the places we visited, and even drove us past the house that Barry Obama is building for his family here in Oahu! It as really cool to see the construction site. Anyway, Marlon is an amazing, fun, and hilarious tour guide. He told many personal stories about being born and raised in Oahu and provided a good history and background of the island. He was very clear in explaining our stops and the time we had at each place. We appreciated his communication style. I would highly recommend this tour, although not for children – I cannot imagine my nieces and nephew (ages 3 to 9) being able to sit still during the tour. It’s a great tour for adults though, and we had a wonderful time with Marlon. Highly recommend the tour and especially recommend Marlon!!

The Grand Circle Tour with Marlon was great! All the stops were great! It was a great way to see what the whole island has to offer in one day. I would advise you to do this at the beginning of your trip so you can see places you’d like to visit or spend longer at in the coming days after the tour. The Dole 🍍 plantation was amazing one of the best stops overall great experience 👍🏻

Marlon was very friendly, courteous, accommodating, and knowledgeable about everything on the tour. He shared personal experiences from growing up on the island which made the whole trip seem that much more personal. Marlon also gave plenty of recommendations for places for us to eat lunch during the tour and also places to see and visit if we’re able to do so on our stay here. The scenery is gorgeous and you’re able to see everything you want since he’s concentrating on the road for you! The whole trip was well worth it and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a guided style tour of some of the more notable/famous places on the island.

On the Grand Circle Island and Haleiwa tour we had an amazing time. Our tour guide was a guy named Patrick and he entertained us the whole way. He gave lots of good information and also made us laugh with his jokes along the way. His interactions with the audience are frequent and always great. I am traveling with 14 teenagers. We chose Royal Star for a Grand Island tour. We chose a private tour. Although the weather was less than perfect, the trip was great. Best part of the trip was Tony -our driver. He was knowledgeable and fun. The kids enjoyed the day and learned a lot. I will definitely choose Royal Star again

Had a great experience today with our driver Marlon on the Circle Island Tour! It was fascinating to pack so much information about Hawaii in one day. If this is your first time visiting, like mine….highly recommend!

First time in Hawaii. Went though Royal Star for the Island Tour and others. When I come back, I would never use anyone else. Kalani was fantastic !!!! Would highly recommend to friends/family, or anyone looking for things to do/shuttle service!

Management is definitely disappointing. Left behind a pair of sunglasses on bus and manager made it very difficult to retrieve them. Although we had an additional tour where they could have handed my sunglasses to driver, they refused! I explained to them I had no transportation to go and retrieve them, they did not care and would not release my property to driver at my own risk! Bad service!

A fantastic tour of Oahu with a great guide This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Hawaii. It was a full day of exploring the beautiful island of Oahu, from the stunning beaches and mountains to the historic and cultural sites. The tour was well-organized, comfortable, and informative. We visited many places, such as the Dole Plantation, the North Shore, the Byodo-In Temple, the Pali Lookout, and more. We also had plenty of time to take photos, shop, and enjoy the scenery. The best part of the tour was our guide, Kimo. He was simply amazing. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and entertaining. He shared many stories and facts about the island, its history, and its people. He also played some Hawaiian music and taught us some words and phrases. He made the tour fun and engaging for everyone. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the best of Oahu in one day. It is a great value for money and a wonderful experience. Thank you, Kimo, for making this tour unforgettable.

Marlon was an amazing local guides. He personalized his stories using not only wider historical stories but also a few personal stories about growing up on the windward side

We joined Marlon for the Pearl Harbor tour. He was AMAZING!! So knowledgeable, kind and really kept us engaged. We learned so much about the city and felt very prepared for our time at Pearl Harbor. Lots of people waiting in the stand By line because they didn’t have tickets. We walked right in and right onto our tour boat for the memorial. Great day! Learned a lot thanks to Marlon. Marlon is the best! He’s humorous and insightful giving historical facts in a fun but respectful way. Loved the personal touch of his home life and stories of growing up on the island were great!

The Circle tour on a Royal Star Tour Bus was amazing! Our bus driver Kalani was the best! His knowledge, professionalism, friendliness and humor was greatly appreciated. The history lesson was so very interesting. He knows his stuff. If you take the circle island tour it won’t be the same without!

So 1st of all I learned today what ohana means. Ohana means family. And when you get the drive with Brandon/BK, he makes you feel like you are part of his family. I had such a great time on my honeymoon to home Honolulu. He made this bus tour fantastic. Yet fantastic. His bus was clean. He was knowledgeable. He has a very admirable work ethic. Way to go Brandon you have earned customer for life thanks BK.

Marlon Langston was our tour guide for Pearl Harbor tour, he showed us the sights of Hawaii, taught us local lingo & was a gem. We thought we had bought tickets to the Missouri. Marlon went out of his way to confirm what we needed to know, remained calm & was so gentle and helpful. VERY professional! Highly recommended, ask for Marlon!

Pearl Harbor itself was an incredible experience! What made it even better was our tour bus driver Patrick. His knowledge about Hawaii with addition to his sense of humor was the icing on the cake! Patrick made the trip even more enjoyable and helped create some fond memories with some great laughs. Thanks Patrick!
