Great look out your diamond head, make sure you check before you go to park is usually closed on Wednesdays. The hours can vary throughout the week if you go to the parks website you'll see closures in hours of operation days they will be open.

Beautiful viewpoint overlooking part of Honolulu and the Ocean. Unfortunately, parking spaces are limited.

Nice view overseeing the Eastern side of O'ahu. It's a scenario spot which will see when heading to diamond head crater hike. A few parking lots available. It's a 10mins walk if you decide to save a few bucks to park here and walk into diamond head which I saw a few did.

we got to see a rainbow in the mist toward the shoreline! beautiful view with the mountain silhouette against the ocean, small communities and lots of green trees and plants. this place is totally accessible --- you can even see the view from inside your car or just step a few steps out from your parking spot. no rough terrain or stairs or anything.

It's a nice easy hike for about 90min up and back down. Even for untrained, young children or elderly people. The view is a must see and it is true, you should go early because it gets hot in the crater and there is no shadow. Take water with you and a hat. Got sunburned even with proper protection. And taste the pineapple and coconut juice they have. It's refreshing after the hike.

Nice viewpoint over the east of the island. Since it is still relatively low, you don't have much foresight yet - that's what follows further up. There are a few free parking spaces, but they are always full. You pass here on the way to Diamond Head, so it's usually pretty busy.

On a clear day the view from here is simply spectacular. Oahu is such a beautiful place.

Nice lookout area for east Oahu. Parking limited, can be crowded. A healthy walk from crater walk and main access.

What are the odd of this rainbow appearing before my very eyes! Bonus: you can see Molok'i, Maui, and Lanai from here on a clear day. I love this spot! Free up to this point too.

We walked from the beach in Waikiki early in the morning and arrived after being hit by four squalls of heavy rain. It was worth seeing.
