This is a must visit. It's a good idea to make a reservation for the trip out to the memorial in advance of your visit as standby can mean a long wait. The Bowfin is also definitely worth a visit.

Understandably, the atmosphere is pretty somber and heavy. If you’re visiting with children I’d recommend talking to them first and giving them age-appropriate/maturity level-based explanations of what they’re going to see and hear.

Awesome Pearl Harbour Memorial. We were able to board a small boat to ferry us to the USS Arizona and Missouri to view the boat that was sunk with 900 crew members on the boat. Amazing tribute. Please note you have to make reservations the day before otherwise you are in stand by to get on the boat. My family of were on standby for about 2 hours. Worth the weight. Pack plenty of drinks and lunch this is an all day trip seeing the entire park. * You are not allowed any purses fanny packs or large bags. Everything needs to be open and in fully view before you enter the park. This is a federal protected park.

This was my favorite place in all of Hawaii living history and the museum was absolutely priceless I actually cried a little bit when I saw the Medal of Honor displayed and read the story of the man who almost gave his life several times to Win It. I was honored to be in the presence of Heroes and it's sad to think there are only two surviving members of the Arizona still alive

Got goose bumps reading the names of the eternal fleet. The sub and museum was amazing. The men and women that serve(d) deserve all of our respect for their sacrifices for our nation.

Sobering experience. It's crazy to think that ~900 sailors and marines are in their final resting place below your feet. The smell of the oil leaking into the water is a brief glimpse of what that infamous day was like

Make sure to log on online and make a reservation. It is a quick boat ride that takes you to the arizona memorial. When you go in they only allow small bags like a wallet size and if you have a backpack you will have to go put it in your car or in a locker.

An amazing tour, u cannot pass up visiting the Pearl Harbor USS Arizona memorial!!! Go online to the Parks website to get the free tickets/reservations bc u just get right in, easy... so worth it bc there r sooooo many waiting to get in via standby. BTW, u can only take in very small "wallets on a strap", and noooooo bags bc of security 🤙

Place was very affordable, was pretty awesome getting to see and learn about Pearl Harbor. Make sure you make reservations for the boat to see the actual memorial. If not you can wait in the standby lane for open spots but it will take some time. Show up the earlier the better.

One can see first-hand the remains of the USS Arizona at the memorial, which marks the resting place of 1,102 of the 1,177 sailors and Marines killed on the USS Arizona during the Attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, and commemorates the events of that day. Try to obtain a reservation ticket online -- otherwise you might have to wait a long time to board the boat that will take you to the memorial. Also, bags, fanny packs, purses, and other similar types of concealed "pouches" are not allowed -- you will have to store them in a locker onsite for a fee. From the National Park Service website: Pearl Harbor is the number one visitor destination in Hawaii and the USS Arizona Memorial is where your Pearl Harbor experience begins. Millions of people from all over the world come to this majestic setting to see for themselves where World War II began for the United States on December 7, 1941. The USS Arizona Memorial is a must-see destination for all individuals coming to Hawaii, drawing more than 1.7 million visitors each year from all over the world.

Nice area. Eat before you come. Snack bar is pricey!

This beautiful memorial is a great honor to those who served. It is also in need of some updating soon, as it is beginning to show its age.

Free self tour with a 20-minute video. Wonderful memorial and a great gift shop! You can find souvenirs for as cheap as $1-$2...check out the commemorative coins.

It's a real nice experience. It wasn't too crowded. I did everything in about 1hr. I was by myself. And don't take any bags. They don't allow back packs, hand bags, or any type of bag. Only small wallet size. You can take Camaras, cell phones and head phone. Just no bags. You will be turned away at the gate.

Truly a great memorial. We have family members that were apart of this historic event and it's was great to see this historic location. Remember this is essentially a large memorial cemetery and deserves respect.

Definitely a must see, the memorial is phenomenal and the whole set up....is very descriptive and informative of the times and situations that led up to 12/7/41. Cell phones must be put on silent, and the ferry leaves every 15 minutes to take people to and from the memorial site. Very educational and a nice time.

It doesn't impress anything... it's more like a tribute.
