👍👍 Always a lovely beach to enjoy, whether staying at the Hilton or visiting from another hotel. Only downsides are the amount of people, typically most coming from the Hilton Hawaiian village, but always room to place a towel down. Tons of reef just a small swim away from shore as well, great for snor... People often mention beach, water, fireworks, Hilton, people, evening, sunset,

The wind was strong during the year-end and New Year holidays, and the water temperature was a little cold, but it was very beautiful and the waves on the sandy beach were calm, making it a comfortable beach. Looking down from the upper floors, several sea turtles were spotted in areas where people were swimming.

Good location, there is a lagoon, an ocean overlooking a diamond head, nearby a pier with all kinds of boats (when I walked along the pier I saw a floating turtle on the left). On Fridays, fireworks are held here starting at 8 pm (but the time may vary).

(Translated by Google) I always go to see fireworks on a Friday night !! Moth While waiting for the evening, spend time watching the outrigger practice and surfing, buying food, shave ice, and more with the kitchen car The sunset from here is particularly beautiful, and the people around me also look at the sunset, put it in the picture, and it is a state of Miyaka for the setting sun, When the sun goes down, and the fireworks start, it is a short time, but the fireworks are right above and you can feel the great force !! Moth There are few tourists and most of them are Roko.

The sand is soft and good for playing in the sand. It is a great place to watch the fireworks at the Hilton Hotel every Friday evening at 7:45 PM.

I visited the Hilton because I heard it was good to see the fireworks from here! I was so moved that I almost cried while watching the 5-minute fireworks display... It's not too hot in the evening, so it's easy to take a walk from Waikiki. If you take a seat right in front of the ocean, you can see it bursting right over your head and pouring down on you.

Great place to visit as it's got a wide spread out sandy area with hotels lining the beach. It's a public beach more accessible to hotel residents than to visitors traveling by city buses bikes or cars. We parked in one of three marked parking spaces and walked up to the water. From the grassy area to the high water mark in the sand is about 160 feet. There is a dock, but not open to the public. Arriving just before sunset, we saw many people sitting to watch the gorgeous sunset at 6pm. A few sailboats were out at sea and in the distant was a multilevel cruise ship that cut across the fiery orange half ball of the setting sun dropping into the ocean. Darkness descended and night brought out people playing with illuminated sling shot devices that floated to earth shining in the evening air. By this time, the majority of beach goers had departed. It was pleasant evening for us but we were lucky to have found a parking spot on this week day evening.

I liked this beach. Very sandy and the rocks were at a minimum in the ocean. They had some sort of barrier so waves didn’t come crashing in which made the water perfect. It gets crazy busy at times but we never had an issue finding a spot.

Nice and long beach, a lot of space and shallow water. Clean and well maintained whenever I was there, sanitary facilities are available and usable. Don't miss watching the sunset or the fireworks every Friday at the Hilton Hawaiian Village - it does get very crowded though.

Nice easy walk from many high rise hotels & resorts. Lots of restaurant & drink options. Recommend getting beach service ($25/2 hrs) for chairs & an umbrella. Much more enjoyable.

Got married here! Nice beach, lots of space to enjoy, even had a Dairy Queen to buy treats! Further west down the beach there were quite a few places to each and get shaved ice.

I've visited this beach several times. It's a lame beach, by Hawaii standards. Not your tropical image of a beach. The sand is coarse and there are many rocks. Nothing to see if you snorkel - the coral, if any, is dead, and the visibility is poor (the water is cloudy). The ocean floor is rocky too. Far better beaches in Mexico on the Riviera Maya (Cozumel and Isla Mujeres in particular). The only redeeming qualities are its width (several times wider than Waikiki), calm waters, the light from the Rainbow Tower at night, and a foot wash station.

Great, calm beach. Not the best place for snorkeling though (despite the reef right in front).
