This is a beautiful, well kept beach that is not overly crowded. There are restroom facilities and showers on the South end, by a car park. If you want a break from the crowds, but would still like to enjoy the beach, I highly encourage a visit here.

Plenty of sand, decent waves 2-3 ft faces, sun was out and a light breeze coming from the NE. Perfect. Known to locals as Sherwood Forest or simply Sherwood's. Clean white sand with a great shore break, perfect for body boarding. Space to spread out (read social distance) on an early August Sunday, surprisingly. Lifeguards patrols in the water and on the sand. No lifeguard stands though. Bathrooms and showers available, but wear your slippers, because it's kinda gross. Parking was tight, but we didn't need to wait for a space or walk too far. The drive from town was bumper to bumper, and there isn't much in Waimanalo town, so grab your supplies before you head here.

Nice quiet beach and not so crowded. There showers to rinse off on. Bathrooms near by. Views to enjoy and watch for turtles swimming in the water.

This water is just like a picture turquoise teal water with white sand. Good waves nothing crazy and water can get deep as waves build but over all amazing!!! My new favorite beach and its not crowded surrounded by gorgeous mountains

One of the best views overall if you want the complete scenery, mountains, beach and tree's... We visited quite a few beaches, not that the homeless camps are a hinder or so, but you would feel a bit safer leaving your car at the parking lot...It's a top 3 beach in my opinion...

Less crowded beach with a super nice view!! There is a public parking for free and there are public showers. There is also a lifeguard on duty almost all the time in the working hours. Definitely a nice beach where you can spend your day calmly without stress and the annoying crowd. Buy a coconut or a pineapple and go there!!!

Absolutely stunning beach. Sadly because of jellyfish and strong currents swimming was not recommended by the lifeguard so we took a few pictures and left.

Absolutely beautiful beach with pristine, white sand and clear, aquamarine water! It was calm and peaceful, less crowded than other beaches we visited on Oahu. Had a large, free parking lot, public bathrooms, and a few picnic tables.

Great place. The beach is very long. There is not as much people as on the other beaches. The water is azure and the sand is very bright. There is a lot of parking places around the beach. But my favorite beach is still waikkiki beach.

The beach is clean, no debris and water is warm no rocks that cuts your feet. I highly recommend to visit this beach there is a big parking lot and restroom and not so many people on the beach.

The beach is beautiful and worth the time to get there. The facilities on the other hand are old and definitely in desperate need of renovations.

Lowkey beach. Perfect for families. Away from the crowded tourist area. Just enough waves for active teens. Lifeguard on duty. Public restroom. Public parking.

Nice sandy beach with few people. When itโ€™s windy (which happens often) there can be some man oโ€™war jellyfish. But I still love it here

Very nice Sandy Beach and seems very secluded when I went. Beach had a lot of debris washed up on shore, but otherwise great.

This is definitely the best beach in Oahu!!! Reminds me of 7 mile beach in Cayman Islands. At least 2-3 miles long white sand. You have to spend a day here

Some of the best sand beaches in Hawaii. Some sections are great for snorkeling others for Boogie boarding or body surfing, and all great for sunbathing sandcastles and picnicking. The beach is over 5 miles long and intermittent sections have surf patterns that are very different from one another. Showers bathroom facilities and parking very based on the section.

The tree line and beautiful sand makes this a very scenic beach. Lots of bathrooms, showers for rinsing and not busy like other beaches. Bathroom was clean plenty of parking spaces at the north side.

Such a beautiful beach, not too packed even on a Saturday afternoon. There are showers and plenty of picnic tables.

Majestic natural beach. This beach was simply beautiful because there are trees that separate it from the parking lot and highways. The radiants of blues and greens in the ocean can never truly be capture by cameras. The water is stronger than Kailua Beach, but the sand quality and freshness is equal. Beware, there are signs warning about man of war creatures in the ocean. Though the signs are posted, you can encounter these creatures anywhere, so itโ€™s mostly a reminder.

Favorite beach in Oahu. Great for kids. Soft sand, you dont have to worry about hitting your feet on any rocks in the water. Plus trees and shade for warm days. Bathroom nearby.

Fantastic spot. Large beach, safe shore break (February). Only few people.

Best beach on the island. We visited around 15 beaches while here and this was the best equip for a day trip and softest sand (no rocks!) with rolling waves. Good for swimming and body surfing/boogie boarding. They have showers and bathrooms, picnic tables, grassy and shaded areas. Plenty of parking, some people pull up on grass to the beach to set up their pop up tents for grilling, etc. The beach was busy, but not crowded. Lifeguards on duty. Few man-o-war (check full moon schedule to see best time to avoid them).

Nice big empty beach. Be careful though there are lots of jellyfish bits that can sting you!

Such a peaceful slice of beach on the windward side! I highly recommend going to the "Sherwood Park" area of Waimanalo Bay to avoid the growing homeless population, which is why I don't recommend Waimanalo Beach. Otherwise it's a great area to catch some sun or go for a swim! A lot less crowded than Kailua Bay that's for sure.

Beautiful beach. Very clean and not over crowded. If you want a place away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki beach, this would be the place.

Gorgeous, quiet beach with bathrooms and showers and lots of parking. Watch out for the man of war jellies. They were all over the sand. Lots of people swimming despite the warnings of stings and strong currents.

The sand on the beach here is so fine and perfect. It also has great waves for body surfing. The waves are so relaxing

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ One of my few favorite beaches on the east side. Pretty open most of the time. Not many tourists and you can camp here too. Beach is wide and waves great for swimming. There is a restroom area and it was clean along with the entire area. Iโ€™ve been here with only 10 people and the. Again over 100 but...
