One of the best beach parks and great for kids and pets. They have bathrooms and showers and a basketball πŸ€ court. There's a grass area and a big pit for used coal from your bbq. The tides get really low and you can walk out pretty far. There's a small parking lot Love this beach so much 😍

Surprisingly, this was one of the few spots we found that had a number of shells and coral to collect on the south shore.

Very nice park. Space to set chairs and wade in the water. Can bring your dogs as well. Shallow water not too deep and can watch the kids play safely.

Practically had the entire beach to ourselves. Warm sands and nice breeze. The surf and waves are thrashing. Be prepared for a workout swimming in the water. Watch out for the rocky areas. Surf crashes up and will sweep an adult away.

Located on the ocean coastline fronting the lush green valleys of Hawaii Kai, this is my go neighborhood stop to enjoy a morning latte from near by Island Brew for sunrise, a quick lunch stop at a shaded picnic table or a casual sunset β€œto go” dinner to enjoy the arriving glow of Hawaii’s beautiful sunset sky.

Maunaloa was really packed & the parking lot was full several days in a row. We found Spencer beach just down the road from maunaloa and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Great for snorkeling, but watch out for sea urchins on the reef.

Great place to launch your boat, personal watercraft or other floating device used. Thankfully, the amount of people that come out here and let their children swim in the boat launch area is limited/ very few. However, it has happened on a few occasions (which I don't understand). Generally nice people here that have the Aloha spirit. 3 lanes in which to launch your water toys.

I just wanted to exhale and eat my dinner watching the sunset and what a sunset it was...I'm happy I didn't sit home on my off day. Yes, it's right off a busy road but pull up anyways.somwtimes u need to get away and just breathe for 15 minutes and chill so do it out here. Far away from the tourists and it's chill and beautiful.

This is a great beach and it’s rarely crowded. The views are great as well with lush in the background and volcanic on the other side. This is one of the best places on the island to watch the sunset from. Breathtaking.

Lots to do, but be aware of your surroundings as with all beaches and water wetlands be aware of the weather, surf and read the signage rules for for any water warnings. If in doubt don't go out into the water. No lifeguards.

Nice lookout point that is only a short drive from Waikiki. Great view of the open ocean and there is a theme park nearby.

  • 5/5 Raphael T. 4 years ago on Google
It's so peaceful over there. If you're looking for a lonely place that's the perfect spot. You can rent a boat too and enjoy yourself or with family and friends on the ocean.

Absolutely perfect place to watch the Sunset and watch the paddlers glide by! A great place to launch your boat, or jump on your stand up paddle board or Cruise out on your jet ski. It's even a good place to fish off the pier or off the Rock walls.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ The best beer selection of any brewery on the island, in my opinion. IPAs, lagers, pilsners, and porters all have really good flavor. I guess that's all that matters being a brewery because the food seems to be hit or miss. The burger was great, but not much flavor on yhe calamari. Prices seem a lit...
