I visited this beach for the first time with my kids on a Sunday. When we arrived around 11am it wasn't very crowded. We walked up the beach to the left and found a comfortable spot with plenty of space. The water was calm enough to take my kids snorkeling and we even found an awesome old bottle on the bottom of the ocean! There were small bits of seaglass here and there along the beach. There were also a few trees that offered shade. My kids enjoyed making "castles" with the many sticks and nuts they found lying around. I think this is a great beach for all with lots to offer. Definitely 5 stars for the crystal clear water and the beautiful views!!!

Love it here. But it gets busy on weekend so go here early or in weekdays. I gave this place a 5 stars because I saw a TURTLE 🐢 I WAS SO HAPPY I was close to it swam with it for a good 15 mins. Hope you lucky to see the turtle like me! By the way we went bought to snorkeling with turtle and didn’t not get close to it and it was deep my go pro can’t see it. Don’t buy those activities waste of money.

This spot was so beautiful and calm when we visited, it was perfect for our little ones to float around in. The current was not strong or overwhelming and the water was beautiful and clear. We saw some small fish and a turtle which was definitely the highlight of the day there. The bathroom and showers were perfect and pretty clean and the parking was good when we got there. Hopefully when we visit again we will definitely go back to this perfect spot

Great spot to go if you want to get away from the big crowds over at Waikiki. There was some weather there when we went so we didn't stay long. Snorkeling can be good as there are more rocks below and waters are not rough as well. We even saw a little crabby too! If you like the view but not being in the sand this is also perfect since there is space close to the shore and separated picnic spots. There are public restrooms and lots of space for parking.

The name Kaiona, means" attractive sea" in Hawaiian. The waters at Kaiona Beach are an amazingly vibrant turquoise color and the sands are a pale white soft texture that feels so comfortable to wriggle your toes into. The horizon itself is also a wonder to look at,and it is made even more interesting with the dynamic rolls of the wave and the far off small island.  On a sunny day, the water is so clear that you might think you’re swimming in a pool rather than the ocean.  Mokoli'i Island can be seen from the beach or reach by canoe.

Beautiful white sand beach with some decent snorkeling. Waves are pretty low and it's right near the original Robin's Nest building, AKA the Magnum P.I. house from the show in the 80s. There's a hidden pillbox in the water inside of the sea wall area. Parking is scarce so be patient, you might have to park in the grass. Take all your trash with you and don't step on the coral!

Had a wonderfully relaxing day here! I've gone to Kaiona many many times, and each time I appreciate it more and more! There's a nice amount of tables throughout the park with nice kept grass areas around! I appreciate the grassy area on the beach side of the fence as well. It's nice if u wanna enjoy your lunch there if u don't feel like sitting on the sand, although the white smooth sandy area is very inviting as well🤩another HUGE thing for me is the bathroom is clean and very well maintained! There's sufficient trash cans around and I nice walkway incase you're barefoot and don't wanna walk on the grass incase there's cuckoos 🥴 the view is amazing from every angle and u can sit for hours as I did yesterday just enjoying it and all the yummy sunshine🌞🌻thank u to all the hardworking maintenance for doing such an awesome job! In fact I've already made plans to go on Sunday!😁😉

Unlike the waves at Sandy Beach, the sand is narrow, the water is warm, and the showers are conveniently located right out front. However, the lack of waves means the water isn't as clear. Lots of locals with families.

Water is nice and clear on a not so windy day. There's not a lot of sand during high tide. Maybe 25 parking spots and more on the street. There is a shower.

Beautiful little beach, a bit of a rocky bottom, but if you stay close to shore, you will be fine. I also tried snorkeling here, saw a good amount of fish; be careful of when there are rough waves.

This beach is stunning! Lots of sea life near the reefs. It is a little chilly since it is right by the mountains. Be careful near the full moon because the Portuguese Man-of-war come out. My kiddo was stung and it was not a pleasant afternoon.

The park area is big enough to fit a lot of ppl and as well a couple of benches to sit at. The water was nice and calm for the most part but had lots of rocks and no lifeguards so swim at ur own risk.

Great spot for snorkeling. We saw some eels, turtles many moorish idols. Clean restrooms and one of the best sands on Oahu

The only thing more beautiful than this lovely, but very small, beach was the locals we visited with. They actually restored this beach to bring it to its full potential and they were so very proud of it along with being welcoming and kind and telling us about the beach and rabbit island, which you see in the picture. Very beautiful place and people!

There’s so many corals just right by the beach — a really good amount of fish and I caught two giant turtles within 5 minutes of snorkeling. Great ROI for snorkeling

Better snorkeling than I expected, good coral, good fish diversity, saw one turtle. Easy water entry. Parking lot is small but I found a spot at 11am. Big sandy beach was uncrowded. No restrooms. Almost 5 stars.

Beautiful, not crowded at all. Parking was easy to find. Water was clear and warm. Waves started picking up after 3pm. Great for kids before 3pm. They have bathrooms and showers.

Still beautiful.. Even wirh the tourist all crowding, still a good place to be. Relaxing or swimming. By yourself or with the fam.

Small beach but great facilities and not too crowded. Barely any waves and there are rocks but spread pretty far out. There's a bunch of shade from the trees on the small beach. Bathrooms have large changing areas. There are two sets of showers and a bunch of picnic tables. Great beach for smaller kids.

Great park with good faculties. Watch out for the fishermen. If you're lucky a team might practice with the canoes. Snorkeling wasn't too bad either.

👍👍 The best beer selection of any brewery on the island, in my opinion. IPAs, lagers, pilsners, and porters all have really good flavor. I guess that's all that matters being a brewery because the food seems to be hit or miss. The burger was great, but not much flavor on yhe calamari. Prices seem a lit...
