We like this library a lot. Nice spacious floor plan with ample parking. There are about 15 spots in the front and then a large 50 plus spaces on the back. It has a nice children's reading area and a computer area with about 6 computers in 2 locations. Friendly staff and decent movie selection (1 section for grown ups and another for kids).

I been coming here for 18yrs. Beautiful library and staff is great. But since when did they allow non-service dogs in the library wow.

Lots of unused parking, waste of space, they could use some for the Aliamanu School.

Best library in the state of Hawaii!!

The security guard is very rude and doesn't treat the children equally as adults. She has kicked people put for making a loud noise on accident when adults make loud phone calls and says not do it in a nice way. She will yell at children but there is still pros. The library staffs are very kind and love to help you out. The library also needs more seating places because the children need to stay in the library waiting for their parents. The security guard also picks on children and calls them trouble makers.

Excellent location. Cleanl, friendly and professional ambiance. Great place to study or just read and relax.

Great place for studying, relaxing, or whatever we do anymore. Wifi connection is strong, Book variety is great, Computers are usually busy and taken (Roughly 8-10 computers). Never printed there so unfortunately have no insight on that, will update when I do. Overall a good library.

The Salt Lake-Moanalua Public Library has a good selection of reading material, a DVD/CD section, teen reading area, computers, printers and a security guard on duty. The staff were super informative and resolved all issues that I had during my visit. Residency requirements are needed to get a library card, but a temporary visitors pass will be issued to non residents.

Great place to stop and enjoy books and room to work. There was ample parking, some across the street from the entrance to the library, lots of parking on the side of the building. My visit was during the week four to six in the afternoon. There were plenty of tables open to work without crowding anyone. Rest rooms located to the left as you walk into the library. Definitely an asset to the community.

Friendly, helpful staff. They know where to find the book you're looking for, and I've never had an issue with using this library. It's a slightly smaller library than some of the others, but still really nice and clean.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice & calm atmosphere with not too bright and not too dim lighting. Not a huge library, the basics. Manga selection is very minimal.

We came for their weekly Wednesday craft advertised for children 2-12 years old with our three and five year old. Then went to the children’s area. Signs are posted noting it’s a quiet area for reading only and no playing. It was very quiet and we were the only ones with young children, and it felt like the security guard watched us the entire time. We met another mom and four year old there, and when we went back to the craft area, the guard went to myself and and hushed us, then hushed my daughter directly. Unfortunately I cannot hear well and my preschooler does have a louder voice. A respectful approach to talk to me as the parent and ask if I can have my children talk quieter would have felt better. While it is a nice traditional library, I do not recommend this library for younger children or older children who may have difficulties with being quiet. The libraries we historically attend have a play area, children’s programs, and are friendly for all ages. We appreciate all they did to help us build friendships and strong young readers.

I've been a patron of salt lake library for close to 10 years, never ever had any bad experience. The staff are always in a great mood & they're very helpful. Thank you!

Clean restroom and reading area, friendly, helpful, and pleasant staff. Wish they would extend the daily operation hours to 7:00 pm.

We love this place because it means so much to our 4 yr old granddaughter who discovered that she could borrow books and this was her very first time at a library. Very clean, quiet and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I love the fact that the security person has no problem telling inconsiderate people (usually adults) that talking on cell phones is not allowed. Typical of younger adults nowdays with NO COMMON SENSE. IT'S A LIBRARY

Their hours are kind of wonky right now, but they are very accommodating but it's a clean quiet atmosphere

Being able to order books from across the Hawai'i library system is an excellent asset — so many languages, from Chinese to French — and topics available. Kind staff.

The librarians and staff are very nice and super helpful. It’s always super peaceful. Anyone who’s reads this should go there. I 100% recommend it
