H&R Block is consistently reliable I didn't give you a full score because there's always the element and opportunity of something else. More than likely I'll return. In addition, I did recommend and bring a friend and to the office with me this year. That alone should be a compliment to your business and how I feel about it.

I could not get in touch with my tax preparer. After many calls only to find out later that this person no longer works for H&R Block!

Accountant was moving very fast and hard to follow. Caught two mistakes made during the preparation that were made due to how fast we were going. Also felt that a bit more professional recommendations could have made me feel more comfortable about the selections she was asking me to select from. I am in the Military and my home of record is New York and I will more than likely go back to Turbo Tax to do my taxes next year.

I have been doing my taxes with and H & R block for the last 8 years. John Shim is by far the worst tax prep specialist I have had. I received three notices from both state and federal about how the taxes were filed incorrectly. He had no idea how to file state taxes in Hawaii for military members. Federal taxes were almost 3 thousand dollars less than what I was entitled. Luckily the federal taxes were corrected. They got too used to people not doing their taxes in person as the whole experience was rushed to get us out of the office and no attention to detail. Another business that lost their grasp on reality due to the covid experience. No concept of costumer service anymore. H&R block just lost a long time costumer. Never again!
