Amazing bowls and coffee! Highly recommend it. It was a bit of a walk from Waikiki beach, but it was well worth the trip.

The bagel and lox was amazing. Carrots instead of salmon and really tasted great! Tofu salad was large with fresh quality greens.

stop in for a lovely smoothie, decent coffee, and tasty vittles served a little faster than island time. I loved the macadamia pesto avocado toast. the green energy smoothie was ginger tastic! the oat cappuccino was a little bitter but still good.

Vegan eats review: Nice morning stroll from central Waikiki to wake up your senses. Breakfast sandwich is strongly recommended. Chao complements the chickpea. Olena Waffles have delicious toppings. Wish they were just slightly more soft and fluffy. Coffee smoothie needs some dates to sweeten just a little bit. Great way to wake up though if you need a caffeine start. Quiet spot. Unassuming. Delicious eats.

Seriously they have the best smoothie bowl on the island. It is outrageously delicious, I am so serious about this place. I am a diehard fan of their breakfast sandwich, and anything with their pesto is beyond amazing. Their staff is always super sweet, and everything is always clean and looks nice. 100% recommend.

Amazing fresh food! Love the place. We loved everything we ordered, especially Olena Avocado toast. The Olena sauce adds a lot of flavor.

Love this place! Very cute inside & lots of yummy food to choose from (sandwiches, salads, smoothies, juices, etc.)! Parking is in front of the Red Cafe, there are 3 spots labeled Olena Cafe! My favorite dish so far is the Olena Waffle, sooo delicious!

Best açaí bowl I had on this island! The roasted macadamia nuts in the granolas are so crunchy and flavorful. The base is the right consistency, even withstood a 5min.s walk under the sun, it didn’t melt too much. All fruits on it were fresh and sweet! Coffee’s portion size is decent but they only have plant based milk options. Down side is it was a bit slow to order and getting the food, but in the end the wait’s worth it!

Very nice & clean spot for vegan food. I am not vegan but really enjoyed their Olena Waffles. A little pricey but I understand paying for quality ingredients. They have wifi and some outlets for charging. It is a little chilly so bring a jacket, but ultimately a great little place to work for a few hours.

We got two breakfast wrap, since they were very busy and said anything else would take at least 30 minutes. The wraps were sadly mostly cold kale (though likely the business was a factor). Definitely felt overpriced for what we got, but would be willing to come back to try something else when they’re not so overwhelmed. Love that there’s a vegan lunch option in this area.

Good vegan options for breakfast loving people. Quick stop for a breakfast bite, and we all decided some vegan breakfast to start the day. Service was attentive, but they seemed understaffed. I got an acai bowl with hemp hearts and a breakfast wrap. Took some time for the bowl and wrap to come out since there were only 2 people working, and we were a party of 6. Ok, the Acai bowl was stingy on the toppings. 2 strawberries about 5 blueberries, half banana, and a pinch of hemp hearts for an extra dollar, really? Good taste overall. Ok, moving on to the breakfast wrap. Contains local sautéed kale, portobello mushrooms, roasted red bell pepper, black beans, red onion, Olena scrambled tofu in a whole wheat tortilla. Overpowering amounts of kale. Mushrooms were unseen or tasted. Black beans had barely any flavoring, barely any red peppers, and no onions that I tasted. Scrambled tofu was pale in flavor. The only thing I could taste was the kale, wheat tortilla, and salsa they provide in the side. I gave it a 3rd star just because they were playing some sweet reggea music, and i they sell CBD pre-rolls, which I gladly purchased. Would maybe change rating if I were to try other things on the menu, but for now, I would advise that you try at your own discretion...

Only negative is no bathroom. Food was SO GOOD, so was the coffee/syrup. I spent all week lamenting the lack of vegetarian food around while in town for a conference. I had their food on the last day and it was amazing, I wish I had been eating there all week! Try the carrot "lox" bagel!

Fantastic, healthy, feel-food spot! Many wonderful vegan foods. The lox bagel was something special. Delicious cashew cream cheese with well-marinated veggies that captured the unique lox taste in a way that only plant-based lox can. The breakfast sandwich was a nice, lighter chickpea salad was really nice and left us feeling good. And, as all the reviews suggested, we went for the Olena waffe, which was so pretty and a nice treat to share. Really nice breakfast stop after spending some time walking around Ala Moana. Would highly recommend!

Delicious vegan plant-based options. On this trip to Hawaii, Olena Café will be our go-to. Their vegan BLT is freakin amazing, and so is the hummus wrap. I’ll probably have the açaí bowl each visit too. Fresh veggies seasoned to perfection.

Amazing vegan food! We ordered a waffle, avocado toast, Chickpea sandwich, blt, and an acai bowl. It all was amazing! The avocado toast was the best I ever had. Service was very friendly as well. The only complaint is that they do not have restroom even for customers.

Their waffle??? Spectacular. I couldn’t find a dairy-free waffle ANYWHERE & came here just for that. It didn’t disappoint! I asked for it to be cooked lightly so that it wasn’t crunchy & I am impressed with how great it tasted. The coco-whip tastes exactly like coconut oil so if the isn’t your cup of tea, I’d just avoid it. Their espresso tastes fresh & while the pesto sandwich needed some salt, they did have that available to add. The shots are tasty as well. I’ll be back here before I leave town.

In my experience and opinion this place does not deserve the high ratings it receives. Ordered the avo toast on gluten free bread. I expected more avo on the toast and the pesto was okay. The latte and capuchino with almond milk was gritty, not a good taste and not even hot when served. This is my 3rd time eating here and not as good as it was before. I honestly would not recommend it and will not return at least for awhile. Maybe it's another pandemic casualty and people are giving the high ratings only because they're happy to be out again. I cannot agree with the high and popular ratings as I did not have the similar high rated experience. The staff is friendly, helpful and best part of my experience at Olena.

This place is a hidden gem! It doesn’t show up higher in reviews for cafes or isn’t mentioned in any articles but do yourself a favor and try it. We got the breakfast sandwich which just blew us away. The bread was great with kale, garlic aioli, vegan house made bacon and falafel patty. One of the best sandwiches we’ve had.

Absolutely DELICIOUS food. And one of the best iced lattes I've had. The PERFECT breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. It was within walking distance of our hotel, and so we just walked down here each morning to start our day off well. The breakfast sandwich is an absolute standout. The coconut bacon is AMAZING, and the savory chickpea patty is a beautifully smooth counter to its crispness. My partner raved about the avocado toast, but they only gave me a single bite that haunts my memories. I was really taken aback by the carrot lox bagel. I have no idea what they did with the carrot, but it absolutely complemented the cream cheese and capers just like you would want salmon to do. Give it a try, and I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

Dunno what some other people are talking about but the breakfast wraps, sandwich, waffle, etc was all absolutely fantastic! Service was ridiculously fast and they were so kind! The smoothies are also fantastic! Great spot for a quick bite before your plane ride back or a simple breakfast! This new place is doing a fantastic job!
