As a native New Yorker and wannabe plant based bro, I was very impressed by this pizza. The crust has a great texture with the right amount of chew and charcoal flavor. The homemade cheese was also really impressive because of its flavor and the way that it melted. I do think that the sauce is slightly more acidic compared to other pizzas but doesn’t take away from the experience.

My sister and I were visiting the area for two weeks and we found it fairly hard to find good vegan food. I was so happy we found this place while walking around. Everything is plant based and the pizza was delicious. The workers were super friendly and welcoming - I would come back just for the pizza :) the pizza dough is actually out of this world

If I could give zero I would!! How can you make a pizza that is burnt on the crust but raw is the middle (I'm talking cheese not even melted!!) I have to cook it more in my oven. Sauce is horrible, and I've have better Tony's frozen pizza in my high-school days!!! Waiting almost an hour for that, and $36 on 2 pizzas. I worked at the Arizona Cardinals stadium hand tossing pizza and made way better pizza, and faster!!! No seasoning, flavor, and idk what pepperoni they use, must be vegan because it's black and tast like cardboard. DONT WAIST TIME!!!

We ordered the ceasar salad and the pesto royale pizza and both were superb. The pizza crust is light, but also a little stretchy and super satisfying with a perfect wood-fire char. There should be a line for seats at this spot! The fully outdoor setting is charming and the open kitchen is fascinating to watch all the pizzas being made from start to finish in the wood fire oven. The pizza cook is an artist! Vegan or not, anyone who loves pizza will love this place.

Amazing vegan pizza. It’s our regular Sunday night date. The pizza dough is incredible to start, the toppings are quality and the base pizzas can be modified (we love kalamata olives on the white pizza)! The location is low key, comfortable, and has a great neighbourhood vibe. The cheesecake and cannoli are perfectly textured and lightly sweet.

Delicious plant based pizza and canolis. So yummy 😋 my favorite was the pesto pizza, and the canolis, made with cashews, were smooth and flavorful. I'll definitely go earlier next time so I can try the white, which was sold out when I got there at 6:30. Friendly staff and it was fun to watch them make the pizzas and use the huge brick oven.

Really good pizza, especially the dough! We got the pesto royale and added mushrooms. Only con: the bottom was a little soggy and I think it’s because they don’t roast/sautée their veggies before hand. Fresh veggies will release water and make the crust soggy.

What it dough is a great family and friend oriented establishment! The employees are super respectful and take pride in making each and every pizza pie. The pizza is always hot and freshly made and I have never had any complaints about it. I was first introduced through a friend and ever since then I bring a friend to share this deliciousness. As long as I’m here in Hawaii I will continue to support this lovely business!!! I would also highly recommend as a first time customer to try pizzas out of your comfort zone more specifically the pesto royale. You won’t be disappointed !

The absolute best pizza in Honolulu! We order every weekend, sometimes twice! Get the white pizza it is unlike anything I have had anywhere. I recomend ordering a pizza for takeout and then heading over to Kakaako Waterfront Park or Magic Island to enjoy with the sunset and a glass of wine!

Highly recommend the pesto pizza! Both pizzas we tried had a great crust and overall flavor profile.

Delicious! We had the margarita and the sausage and peppers and they were both great! The dough is perfect, I would get it well done next time

Really good vegan pizza! We had the pesto and white pizzas. The dough was perfect, the crust was crisp and flavoursome. The cheese on the white pizza were incredible - super melty and creamy. Plus they had water available that was infused with pineapple and mint - such a delight!

We had Da Pesto, the Margherita, and the White pizza. All of them were incredible. I’ve tried lots of vegan pizzas, but these were the best yet. The crust, the sauces, the cheese… everything was so fresh and high quality. We were too full to try the garlic knots or desserts this time, so we’ll definitely have to go back.

Some of the best vegan pizza my wife and I have ever had. Cheese is made in house along with the pepperoni. If you're a vegan in Oahu you must stop in for a pizza or two. My wife also loved her cannoli.

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, wonderful service. Love love love love this place. We got the margherita pizza and the Brooklyn calzone, both amazing but slightly prefer pizza form. The meatballs were so good, not too much like animal meatballs at all and very well seasoned. And the mozzarella! So good! Would definitely come back here Don’t be like me and burn your tongue on the calzone despite their warnings.

Full vegan pizzas that taste amazing. Even if you aren't vegan, it's a perfect opportunity to try a different spin on many classic Italian pizzas. Everything is plant-based and wood-fired. Don't sleep on the desert options.

The food was surprisingly tasty. I am not vegan but a member of our party enjoys vegan options. Parking on the side of the building is available. This is an outdoor restaurant. Bring a group to try various options. The service was informative, attentive and friendly. I would eat here again.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. I think I’ve written two reviews in my life and this is one because it’s just that great. The service is spectacular, was treated like family and served immediately. Impeccable atmosphere and genuinely felt so comfortable. And of course the star, the pizza was amazing. Perfect crust which can be tricky. We got the pepperoni with hot honey and the pistachio cannolis and it satisfied every craving for authentic but cruelty free Italian food I could have asked for. So so so happy and will come here more many more weekends to come.

These guys know how to make a great pizza!! Stopped by this evening and was so happy I did. They make the crust, use a brick oven to bake the pizza and do it real fast. It is very chill and relaxed. Sit wherever, grab a plate, napkins, etc. and wait for the deliciousness to arrive. I did the Margherita and did not disappoint. Best part - it is all vegan. I'm not a vegan, but would come back and highly recommend to anyone.

Nice place to have an outdoor dinner. The pesto pizza was so good. We enjoyed it. Reasonably priced. It was also nice that they had free water refills. Great ambience. Really happy this spot opened! We would definitely come back occasionally when on the island.

Maybe I'm not one for places full of bird droppings, but some of the food here was fairly good. The star of this place, however, was the salad. Their salads are really good. The vegan pizza? It was alright. The "cheese" had no taste and hardly any smell, which I suppose is better than the funky smelling vegan cheeses I've had before. However, this lack of taste made the pizza taste a little off. Also, I don't know if their pizza sauce was watery, or if the vegan cheese was watery, but that texture and taste of something being soggy was there. My suggestion would be to cook the pizza sauce down A LOT more to be LESS WATERY and to add tons of fresh oregano, basil, a bit of thyme, garlic, etc. The vegan pepperonis are pretty decent though. We had dessert... Think it was a vegan chocolate cheesecake. It was as good as vegan cheesecakes get. Overall a pretty solid place, it has potential maybe if it modified it's recipe a bit. If I'm being suuuuper honest, I prefer a daiya pizza from the grocery store over this place.

Probably not my go to pizza unless you're vegan. It didn't have as much flavor as we hoped. I would have doubled the basil and added some garlic. The crust is so tasty and crispy but the vegan cheese was a no go for me.

Visited from out of town and was super excited based on the reviews. Ordered the white pizza. The pizza was not good, it was literally flavorless. I had to get some marinara from Domino's to try to make the most of it and not waste $36 ($15 Uber ride to pick up bc they do not deliver + pizza $21). Even with marinara, I still couldn't finish it. Def would never return.

Wow what an amazing hidden gem 💎 in Honolulu... totally plant based, though you'd never know.... awesome pizza ... don't miss out....also byob 😍

Might be the best vegan pizza I’ve had. The pesto was amazing. Loved the little balls of goat cheese. The pepperoni was also good but the pesto really out shined it for me. They have a cute little patio outside where you can watch them fire off all the pizzas. The staff was super friendly as well. I couldn’t recommend more!

True Neapolitan 🍕- excellent service - adorable ambience - 100% Vegan; you won't regret going! We brought a bottle of wine and were content to use the water cups but they brought us out wine glasses which was so sweet.

This is a beautiful little gem! We were having a hard time finding good places with vegan options until we stumbled upon ‘What it Dough’ on Instagram. Loved the pizza so much we went back the day after. Everything is plant-based and made in-house. The pepperoni is deliciously spicy, the sauce is flavorful. The leftovers made a really good beach snack.

Overall the Pesto pizza tasted great, despite the top being pretty burnt (I just cut those pieces off). The bread was the best part in my opinion. $18.
