Not hot pizza came out. Serving was really poor. some woman employee with long hair who in charge of outside tables didn't know how to serve foods and work well. Simple task asking refill coke was so much late with even little customers here. Moreover she didn't calculate right total price adding tip. So I said "you're wrong with the balance. You have to give me 1dollor more." And she gave me 1dollor in coins. I don't know how they're recruiting underqualified employee. I don't recommend here.

It's not a bad place to visit, but this chain has started to rest on its reputation. The pizzas are good, but they are nothing to shout about, especially when 2 pizzas and drinks are going to run you over $50. Service at this location is on the marginal side at best. Is what it is, but this place was a one and done. Follow up. Management did reach out based on this review and much appreciated. They did stress a concern that they take their food and environment very seriously. Much appreciated follow up. Rating updated.

Edit: So we did come back again to give the CPK another try and the stars have lifted from a 4 to a 5. Jay was our waiter and he was great. He was very efficient and friendly. He made sure everything was on point. Our meals were delicious and there were no delays tonight. As a side note, the reason we came back is because my wife has coeliac disease and there are very few places that are safe for her to eat in Waikiki. After 2 visits here, she has had no adverse reaction. So if you need a gluten free pizza, this is a good option. Original review: The pizzas were good, but they took a long time to come out, especially when the restaurant wasn’t even half full. Our waitress was what made our experience enjoyable. Thankfully she informed us of the delay so that we could get our orders in asap then we could relax and enjoy our drinks. The Sangrias were delicious. I loved the tasting paddle of sangrias. The waitress comped us a couple of drinks for the food delay and the chefs cooked one of the pizzas wrong, so we got that as an extra freebie. Unfortunately I don’t know the waitresses name, but she is an asset to the business, we left there happy and full. It could easily have gone the other way without her. I would give them another try on this holiday.

I went here with high expectations. The waitress seemed to be having a bad day. The view in the balcony was great but the service was bad. I had to ask for lemons three times. Also don’t bother ordering the plant based chicken. It’s not worth it, small flakes that are barely noticeable. The order was wrong and then she brought the bill before we were done ordering drinks. I asked that my rewards get added and it took her and the manager several times to make it right. I don’t recommend.

Understandably, the service was slow here. Our waitress was doing a fantastic job but she was responsible for too many tables and too many large groups. They seemed understaffed. They were trying to control the number of people in by wait times outside but... The food was just okay. I ordered the Caprese Sandwich with a Cesar Salad. The salad was pretty good, the sandwich was light like I wanted but lacking flavor. My friends who got the Works Pizza said it was phenomenal so probably when you go to a place that has pizza in the name...order pizza. 😁 I also tried the passionfruit mango tea, it was definitely iced tea with a hint of those other things, I found it refreshing but if you were expecting stronger fruity flavors I would go for the lemonade. Try it out but if it's at dinner time, expect to be there for awhile and plan accordingly.

California Pizza Kitchen is located on the second floor about a block from the ocean and if you eat outside you'll have a awesome view of the main street. At night, the scene is beautiful, tiki torches the lights of the building are pleasant. The servers were good. The food was delicious. It's like I was eating in California on a little land call Hawaii. The spinach and artichoke dip was great, proportion was on the spot. The five cheese pizza was of course covered in cheese, but instead of tomato sauce, nope butter. So imagine how soft buttery cheesy this piece of bread was "perfect". The Cobb salad was enough, a salad with bacon, avocado, egg and chicken and of course lettuce. The price was very similar to what I would pay in California. So if you are in Hawaii give this place a chance, I know I would.

My husband and I tried it and we ordered the Works Pizza, it was delicious. Crispy crust, not doughy, wonderful taste. Then we had dessert and it was just as delicious. The dessert was the chocolate souffle. Our waitress Kaitlynn was very helpful as this was our first time trying it,as we are visitingfrom Tennessee. We highly recommend California Pizza Kitchen. (Also, reasonably priced.) Side note they other items other than Pizza as well

We got there right before the dinner rush and we got seated immediately. Waiter stopped by within two minutes. We both ordered water which tasted clean and fresh. I ordered the Jamaician Jerk pizza - well done. My wife ordered the original cheese pizza. We both ordered salads. The salads were fresh I had ceaser dressing which tasted like normal ceaser, nothing special. My wife had a vinaigrette dressing but she said it was pure vinegar. The Jerk pizza was amazing. I order some of the spread as extra because with thin crust they do very little sauce and I like it saucy. Very good service and food.

The food was amazing 👏. We order the chicken with barbecue pizza. Chicken Piccata Pasta, and for the kids a half pepperoni and half cheese. The server Christian was great 👍.

I really loved coming here for dinner with my Dad! I'm celiac and the server informed me that they have a seperate area for gluten free pizzas which made me really happy! I was able to eat safely without getting sick! The service was not good but the food was great!

Not my best experience of the multiple visits I have had in multiple states, but overall the food and service was decent. Our food was prompt and my server was nice.

Great place to dine in Annie who served us there was nice and friendly. We order the chicken chipotle pizza a long with Thai crisp salad both very nice and generous. Overall great experience.

Because of COVID they have only 50% available tables, so prepare to wait. We ate at the bar and it was nice. Cocktails were really good. Pizzas were okay. Nothing special. I wish there were more basil leaves on my pizza and more cheese. It was more like a bread stick than a pizza due too a small amount of stuffing…

What should I start with? 1. Service - the waiter was nice and pleasant. However, the service was very slow. In addition, the waiter served my toddler daughter a glass of water without a straw. He said he would soon bring the straw and after more than five minutes of not receiving straw we went to get it ourselves (this is a cup that requires a straw to drink from). 2. Accessibility- the place was not accessible for a baby stroller. Both the escalator and the elevator were not working. We had to carry the stroller up the stairs. 3. Food- we ordered the pasta in tomato sauce which in my opinion was terrible. There was a very strong taste of garlic (usually I don't have a problem with garlic but this was really too much). In addition we ordered the margarita pizza and I didn't like it either. The place looks nice , they have indoor and outdoor seating areas. The price was good. However, I didn't enjoy my experience here unfortunately.

Atmosphere was very nice. There were a bunch of kids here, but they were quiet. The server was attentive.

Food was meh— I’ve never eaten at a CPK, only had their frozen pizza and this wasn’t too many steps above. Ambiance of place was good. Service was downright bad. I ordered a drink specifically after decided I wanted one with refills and was never offered a refill (despite my drink being empty >15 minutes). I didn’t find our waiter very polite or knowledgeable either, frankly. Just very very very meh and some things downright bad.

This is a decent CPK restaurant I only had two issues first was my dessert was melted before I received it and second was the pigeons which is something out of their control. I would recommend you sit inside and skip on dessert at this location. Other than that I had good service, food and drinks.

Another large, busy place that is perhaps a little overwhelmed or understaffed due to Covid? Server was upbeat and recommended a couple of dishes including the avocado spring rolls (nope) and spinach dip. First ‘Hawaiian Pizza’ in Hawaii - obvs created & made famous outside of Hawaii 😀

Was hungry so decided to take a pic after there was one slice left. Pizza had little flavor. Super thin and chewy. The crust was uneatable. Just looks like everything was tossed together by someone that was blind folded. I'm sure if I dined in it probably of would been a different story. 2 stars cause it filled me up.

The pizza and salad was great! I've never had their pizza before, even the frozen pizza back home in Minnesota. However their shrimp scampi pizza was very good. Could use a little more shrimp on it, but the scampi flavoring was on point. So good. The Cobb salad was good too! Definitely would try it if you have the time.

Came to this place because we were craving pizza. We ordered the Hawaiian pizza.The pizza is ok but way overpriced for the quantity and quality you receive. The customer service is lackluster, almost absent. The employees were busy talking instead of tending to the customers. The bread that was provided as an appetizer was old, stale, and not very edible.

The Best Steak Pizza!! I really don’t like pizza so much but this steak pizza changed my life. I ordered pepperoni, carne asada steak and a bowl of spaghetti. They were all good and I really enjoyed the meal but 10/10 get steak pizza here. The restaurant was clean but we had a wait time for a sit and I understand there was a lot of people waiting so it was okay but again the steak pizza was worth the wait.

Naomi , Carissa, Kanohea, and everyone else made the service and food great! Loved eating on the patio! You can mix the lemonade so I was able to get mango and peach! The butter cake is delicious! I love the bbq chicken pizza!

Great location, excellent food, friendly service. Despite the lack of restaurants and lack of seats in them, the line to California Pizza Kitchen was only 30 min. The Wild Mushroom pizza was incredible. Iced tea was also great. I will definitely return here again.
